I have finished my list of pages that my coworkers gave me, and this last one is page 249. I am now in need of more pages unless I actually expect myself to start from the beginning and work my way through like that (which I don't see going very fast because it's not fun like that)
So, we've got 3 plants (4, if you count the one that is the name of a particular tree).
There's 綿菅 (watasuge), or hare's tail cottongrass, 綿の花 (wata no hana), cotton flowers, and 侘助 (wabisuke), which I think is a type of camellia.
Then there's 侘桜 (wabizakura). From what I could tell, this one is a particular sakura tree.
Lastly, we've got 忘れ花 (wasurebana), which means "late-blooming" or a flower that blooms after its usual season.
#the flower book journey#i kid you not trying to figure out exactly what wabisuke was gave me a headache

Video games inspired by anime and manga have been around for quite a long time. A manga series becoming so popular that an anime series results from it, only to have it made onto a video game seems to be the next logical step. Why not? I mean Alot of anime is filled with over-the-top action and unique characters that the end result does lend well to a video game adaptation. So with that, this STAGE of the retro VGM revival hour is dedicated to video games based on a manga/anime series. =====Game - Composer - Title - Year - Company - System==== 1.)Ghost in the Shell - Takkyu Ishino - "Ghost in the Shell"- July 17, 1997 - Exact & Production I.G /THQ - Sony Playstation 2.) Forgotten Flower -- veran kuriensu English Lyrics
Song by Veran Kuriensu
VO: Kagamine Len
English Lyrics
O forgotten flower, even now somewhere
Are you in bloom, blossoms across sky?
Shapeless, precious things
Their fleeting memories disappear
Long ago, we journeyed together
I, who had almost died
And you, who only I could see
A journey with no final destination
One I thought would never end
On a mist-covered mountain bursting with life, dyed brilliant by the dawn
I wished, of the watery reflection of the whole summer's sky
That this all will remain constant even after a hundred years
And we continue our travels
(You're just like
I used to be
We'll always be together
We continue our travels)
O forgotten flower, even now somewhere
In the driving rain, are you spilling over in full bloom?
Shapeless, precious things
Memories of travelling with you
(The four seasons make their cycle
I think of days gone by
Long stretches of time
Fleeting memories)
I, who have lost my hometown
And you, who saved my life
This is our journey together with nowhere to return
And one day during it
I became unable to see you
In the twilit fall amidst the swaying rice fields
A ghost town of white-wrapped winter
Even if a hundred years pass, surely I won't forget
That's what I pray to you
(Your eyes
Have become empty of my reflection
We'll always be together
I want that to reach you)
O forgotten flower, even now somewhere
Are you continuing to bloom even through the snow?
The pain still in my chest
Becomes proof that you were here
(Time flows on
And you leave
Long stretches of time
Carved memories)
Once more, I want to see you
I have so much to tell you
A hundred years pass
I come back to you
(One more time, to your face
I have just one thing to tell you
A hundred years pass
You return before me)
In the earth where forgotten flowers bloom full
That life returning to the sky leaves behind
A long time in an instant
And an unforgettable memory
