So I got up this morning, put on my positive pants & headed to the gym. My morning started off with being disappointed with what the scale said, but gave me that extra push. Of course I would then run late, forget to pay for parking & I’d have to turn around and try again... Instead of changing my state of mind I ended up having a bad day, drowning in self doubt in my ability to juggle everything that has to be done. Shitty run story: Start at noon. ✔️ Work a 24 hour shift before that. ✔️ Eat only a fruit/apple bar. ✔️ Bonus points: Hot day. ✔️ Food doesn't sit well. ✔️ My HR towards mile 4 maxed out while walking on flat ground. Luckily I didn't suffer a V-fib arrest but I called it short a mile (only 7) and UbER'd home. I was worried that if I lived through said V-fib arrest then word would get out I fell first. Also....I didn't have my ID on and I was afraid I'd end up at a hospital that didn't have my peeps. #deepthoughtsduringthesuffer #dramatic #feltthatway #stomachstillunhappy #wastedday Except for 7 miles. 😉 (at Emigration Canyon, Utah)
