you know normally i find recasts in film and tv to be really clunky and awkward but i think it works for interview with the vampire. in fact i think claudia should be played by a different actress every season, because i like to think that louis can't quite remember what she looks like, and constant recasts would sort of highlight that.

godddd the idea of jack watching over rose drives me insaneee. like. he can't let her see him, ever, because that would break all of time forever probably, but he loves her and he wants her safe. but he can only ever interfere from afar. i think about that one christmas story about nine getting rose a bicycle, and then i go. god jack must have, too, right? mysterious little envelopes with goodies in them slipped through jackie's mailbox, maybe he forged mickey's gran's name on them or some other family friend to make sure she'd open them. he can't change the course of their lives, but he can keep them safe. he can make sure there's enough money when ends are hard to make meet. jack harkness, rose tyler's guardian angel.

I suppose this was inevitable. That big fuck-up a few months back really did put the Crush Crush devs in an awkward position.

Removing Ayano from the game entirely wouldn't have been feasible, despite there being multiple calls for the developers to do so, so replacing her with an expy was probably the best possible outcome here.

And now we know why it took the developers so long to respond to the allegations. Re-doing her art, and re-writing and re-recording dialogue to use her new name, that must have taken a while.

Also anyone who’s a Kaede fan is good in my book.

Honestly what isn’t there to not like Kaede? She was a different take on the Danganronpa protagonist format, even though she technically isn’t the first female protagonist in the franchise and while I’m not on the “She should have been the main character all the way instead of Shuichi” train, I am sad she had to die. I do understand why they made Chapter 1 of V3 the way they did though, to showcase nobody, absolutely nobody is safe in a Killing Game.

Not even the protagonist, and for understandable reasons it’s my favourite Chapter 1 of any Danganronpa game, both canon and fangan because you do not expect it to happen. Talk about a way to make a brilliant first impression on the player.

And thanks to her Danganronpa fans join the Pokémon fans of being traumatised by pianos. But look at this way, if she gets shafted by canon, fans can pick up the slack as Survivor really does her justice, her savage beatdown on Kanade there is one of the best moments of the blog. The fact she managed to make the Korekiyo knock-off feel fear for the first time ever, is a massive W. And I’m confident she will train Hibiki well.

biggest problem to me is the whitewashing of sokka and weirdness around the casting of katara and sokka. like first off for one there is all sorts of controversy around the actor playing sokka not being indigenous at all, which... yikes. but say he's Cherokee. cool. except the water tribes are based on inuit culture. not just random indigenous ppl. it's really very gross actually.

Casting as a whole might actually have to be the canon looks for everyone.

Everything within me is screaming about the casting because it can go inline with fandom thinking, or very wrong. And we’ll be stuck with it. We don’t have to justify design headcanons but once that comes out I see potential for more harassment over it because of the canon looks.
