Hey if Hazel, Dev, and the gang play DnD, what do you think they would play as.... and how who would be the fortunate(or unfortunate) DM?

When I was 10, my older brother would play massive D&D campaigns in the living room. He tried teaching me the mechanics but it was too much and too boring for my small brain. Instead, I was far more fascinated with things like Warrior Cats.

Apparently Warrior Cats has a d&d game though. So. The kids would all play that instead!

Dev would eventually be roped into joining. Mainly because when you're sitting with a table of kids doing storytelling, you end up getting very invested, and very frustrated when they make the very wrong choices!!!

The support I have gotten with this silly clangen blog has been absolutely incredible and I cannot thank you all enough.

Heyyyy since there's talk of the Breezepelt Attacking Poppyfrost scene going around, I just wanna remind people that he explicitly does that because he was groomed by the Dark Forest. Jayfeather points it out on the page that Breezepelt's stated motivation doesn't make sense, because it's not actually a rational idea Breezy-P came up with. It's then shown that actual factual evil demons are exploiting the anger he has from being a victim of child abuse, to indoctrinate and manipulate him into radical violence

I wrote a little essay about this with citations and stuff. It wasn't "for no reason," and anyone who tries to use the scene as "evidence" of Breezepelt being Secretly Evil to justify the abuse he underwent as a kid either didn't read it, has bad reading comprehension skills, or is cherrypicking on purpose.

Crowfeather emotionally and physically abused his child, Breezepelt was socially alienated by WindClan as a result, which leads to this moment. That is what is on the page.

hhmmerr warrior cats au where before tearing up the old forest territories to make more neighborhood the twolegs realized there were cat colonies here and trapped the majority of them, the only ones escaping were those who managed to run away those who were taken who were calmer/could be trained (kits apprentices elders maybe just more chill warriors in general) were spayed/neutered and sent away to be housecats while those with larger tempers and who potentially couldn't be trained were sent away to different places to become new, monitored feral cat colonies and the ones who managed to run away made the journey to the lake, creating new clans & recruiting other loner/rogue/kittypets who wanted to join (honestly i just think there needs to be at least 1 (one) mass death/capture event in warriors theres TOO MANY CATS!!!!!!!!!! sobs)

like you guys are out here bullying likely KIDS for having ocs named Sparklepelt or Dragonroar or Plushiefluff like guys.

canon warriors cats should have no concept of silver, gold, copper, specific species of trees and grasses and birds, big cats like lions and tigers and leopards, and the MFING SUN AND MOON but no yeah Sparklepelt is too outlandish for your warrior cats roleplay

star flower just makes me sad, man. shes a tragic character. shes clearly a smart and charismatic cat on her own, but she spent her life being used by her dad. i dont care what the writers say, whats written on the page speaks louder, and she was somebody who obeyed her father in all manners. she wasnt just loyal- she was obedient, even when he promised her to a creepy older man, even when he killed.

and when he was gone, she was lost. despite his manipulations (if not outright mental abuse), she still loved him, wanted to bury and grieve him, was angry with his killers. but without him, she didnt know what to do. she couldnt fathom living on her own. she found a man in a position of power, one who was controlling and cruel to those around him, one who was “strong”, and presented herself to him, did everything to make it clear to him that she would never betray him, would obey without question.

she was an abuse victim groomed and primed for her next abuser, and i think its what makes her relationship with clear sky uncomfortable to so many people, even those who excuse the series other questionable relationships. its real in a very painful way.

and people blame the victim in this situation.
