Well a piece of fan art got me thinking about the tenno post lotus Eaters and all I can think is, Ouch!

Your mother just said she wanted to give you to an Eldritch horror and she then turns to your temporal twin and calls them "her champion" like you haven't saved her or done so much more...

I know the lotus is trying to protect them from the call but that's gotta sting at least a little to hear....

lotus eaters is like 5 minutes long and my god does it fuck so hard. I can't wait for 1999 so I can furiously make out with Quincy (or maybe Amir I'm a bit undecided)

Guess this means I really do need to develop my Drifter into an actual character,,,dangit. I've put so much energy into my Operator, it's gonna be hard to divest that.

So far, Drifter Cyn is just a much more selfish, paranoid version of Operator Cyn. Less trauma from being forced into responsibility, but more trauma from being stuck in a torment vortex for centuries. Balances out I guess.
