Ideas for Updating Your Wardrobe
There are several inventive methods to make your closet stand out if you're seeking for wardrobe remodelling suggestions. Whether you want to paint your wardrobe, add new accessories, or even attempt a do-it-yourself project, there are many methods to give your clothes a much-needed facelift.
Adding a few new basics is one of the most straightforward ways to refresh your wardrobe. Consider replacing outdated clothing, for instance, with something more fashionable. You will also have the opportunity to mix and match designs to create a fresh new appearance.
Utilizing space efficiently is another suggestion for a closet remodel. Utilizing a storage container in your bedroom will frequently free up space for additional goods. These are an excellent method to divide your bedroom from your closet.
Tumblr media
You may also improve the functionality of your closet by installing task lighting. These can aid you in locating stuff, especially in low light conditions.
Incorporating a vanity into your closet is another option. This will allow you to alter your attire without leaving your bedroom.
Additionally, the installation of a statement light fixture will improve your attitude. Alternately, you might place art or quirky containers in the closet.
An alternative is to build an open unit garment rack. This style of storage cabinet is ideal for easily accessible goods such as shoes and accessories.

PAX Australia and a long-neglected Regis-cosplay
Anyone who's been following me for longer than a year or two may remember that back in 2021, I started posting about this cosplay I was working on of Regis, from The Witcher's Blood and Wine DLC (or, more accurately, a femme version thereof, since pulling off a middle-aged man with Peter Cushing's hairline is beyond any hopes of crosplay). The plan was to wear the costume to PAX at Melbourne that year ‒ assuming all went well and the event wasn't cancelled for covid reasons, which, of course, it was. So I had an unfinished costume sitting around my wardrobe for the next far too long.
2022 came around, but none of my friends were interested in going to PAX that year, so I sat it out. But this year, I said what the hell, and booked a flight.
Tumblr media
Current plan is probably just to wear the costume for the Saturday (conventions are tiring, and it does not come with the most comfortable shoes). Regis is obscure enough that I'll probably be doing well if anyone even recognises me, but if anyone from here in the wilds of tumblr is going, please don't hesitate to say hi if you see me ‒ odds are pretty good I am going to be the only femme!Regis around.
I don't have any good photos of the whole costume handy, but have a pics of the finished bag (with the original for comparison). Building this thing was a joint project, but the real credit for this thing goes to @emilyksmithcomics, who brought all the real leather-working experitise, and without whom it would never have been possible. The gold embellishments are all her work too.
Tumblr media
While I'm sharing photos, here's how the finished belt turned out too, starting with some refs for comparison.

April and Jodi on Chloe and Elly's wedding - "we couldn't believe it!"
April: Jodi and I were so surprised and delighted! We actually didn't know anything until we flew to Melbourne to begin filming. We came straight from the airport to the studio to do costume fittings, and we asked our producers what our storyline would be - we couldn't believe it!
Jodi: I literally ran to wardrobe as soon as I found out, I already had ideas and wanted to see what they were thinking. This was a very exciting part of the process. I'm obsessed with fashion, so it was a big moment for our characters and how they would turn up on the day. It's such a beautiful day, very fairytale like. It's the perfect step for the pair of them to take. And I love having Elly's daughter Aster there, too, grown up.
April: My favourite part is having #Chelly written on the car! It's such a fun moment, I love that they wrote that in. I was a little nervous [about the vows]. I know there are a lot of passionate Chelly fans, and I always feel a big responsibility to them. I really hope they're happy with the end result!
Jodi: The vows are very special. It's so lovely to witness the characters get their long-awaited happy ever after...

i bet rn Willie and Alex are having a full weekend date on different parts of Australia. They're going to the art museums in Melbourne, Sydney and Hobard, so Willie can skate and shout somewhere new, they also will be doing some animal observation bc Alex doesn't believe Tasmanian Devils are real but he's interested on the spiders and the snakes and Willie wants to see a kangaroo. They'll be hitting the beach, Willie claiming they're ghosts and can't get wet or sunburned so he can drag Alex into surfing. No doubt Alex will be looking for their music scene at least once. they'll do some shop(lift) as well bc Willie wants to refill his wardrobe and Alex will get some knickknacks for his friends.
and yeah sounds like a lot to do in just three days but transportation won't be a problem for them.

A Book of Hours made for Mary following her marriage indicates the quality of her piety. Its opening folio has a miniature of a praying woman wearing the arms of Bohun and England, while its contents place striking emphasis on the penitential psalms and the saving of sinners. One of the prayers which she added to another psalter asked God to ‘breathe into my heart that interior sweetness of spirit with which you inspired your child David [and] open, O Lord, the ear of my soul to the voice of your love . . . a comfort in adversity, a counsel in time of doubt, a caution in time of prosperity and a cure in time of sickness'. Such sentiments locate Mary within that stream of late fourteenth-century aristocratic piety which emphasized contemplation and self-examination, a movement owing much to the writings of the hermit and mystic Richard Rolle (d.1349). She probably imbibed this from her mother, but it was a devotional preference which she also shared with members of her husband's family such as Henry's grandfather Henry of Grosmont, who composed the remarkable Livre de Seyntz Medicines, a sustained exercise in personal penitence and soul-searching, and his father Gaunt, whose search for a more meaningful form of religious expression had led him to dabble with the Lollards. Mary's household accounts also suggest that her tastes were modest. Her personal servants were not numerous: a receiver (William Burgoyne), a tailor (William Thornby), three ladies-in-waiting (Agnes Burgoyne, Alice Tinneslowe and Mary Hervy), two esquires (Peter de Melbourne and Robert Hartfeld), and an ever-expanding array of nurses and governesses for her family. Her wardrobe expenses in 1387–8 amounted to £202, of which £167 was spent on drapery, mercery and furs; by 1390 she was receiving an annual allowance from Henry of £166 for personal items, and there is no evidence that she exceeded this, although her expenses are not itemized.

Jess Watches // Thu 28 Mar // Day 183 Synopses & Favourite Scenes & Poll
Palm Royale (with B) 1x03 Maxine's Like a Dellacorte
When Maxine's auction antics land her in the Shiny Sheet, the ladies of Palm Beach become interested in knowing more about her.
I was giggling throughout. This ep finding the rhythm of tone and pace I had hoped it would. And the editing in the phone call between Maxine and her husband was very clever. Also, the wardrobe is to die for. Maybe literally for one person!
The Newsreader (with mum) 2x02 People Like You And Me
The country is rocked by a shock mass shooting in Melbourne. When Helen races to air with confronting footage of the aftermath, she is seen as exploiting the tragedy and public sentiment shifts against her.
I was rooting for Helen the entire episode until she spoke with Noelene. She was so dismissive and unhelpful. She should know we are stronger together and be kinder to her female coworkers. Especially ones as nice as Noelene.
Merlin 2x06 Beauty and the Beast Part 2
Uther, still bewitched by her, fails to see that Catarina is a troll.
Arthur fumbling his words when he thinks Merlin has been under his bed all night. What was he doing that Merlin shouldn't know about? The gentle way Merlin cradled Arthur's head after he passed out. Right infront of Gaius's salad. Arthur exiting quickly after Merlin goes in for a hug. It's okay to be vulnerable, Arthur. Let him hold you.
One Piece 1x03 Tell No Tales
Luffy, Zoro, and Nami meet Usopp in the Syrup Village a small, peaceful village. Usopp tells all sorts of lies about his adventures he has never been to his friend, Kaya, who has been sick in bed for over a year since she lost her parents.
The boy who cried "the pirates are coming" was right this time. Please someone other than a marine believe him. And if Kaya lived in the SW Universe she would be thriving with all that blue tea and soup. I hope she and Nami are able to remain friends after they save her. They do save her, right? Or is it too late. :(
