The Concert Bug 

Well, i think i may have caught that bug now. Ever since my 2014 outing with my cousins at ROTR (Rock On The Range), i have always wanted to do more shows. Didn't quite get the full experience from the 2014 festival due to time and anxiety. Seemed like we rushed around and never had enough time to see anyone. We had no idea what we where doing. We just bought tickets and hoped for the best when going in. I may do another ROTR in the future but it's about a 4-hour drive away so ill have to probably get a room and all that good stuff. 

Had some recent outings with my father and friends. Went to 2 different concerts, one on Aug 12th at the Keybank Pavilion in Pitts PA and the other Aug 14th at Blossom Music Center, Cleveland Ohio. Very different artists from multiple generations. My fathers outing was with Cheap Trick and Foreigner, the opening act was Jason Bonhams led Zep experience. All wonderful acts, thought Jason and his band did great, sounded almost like the original band. Cheap Trick and Foreigner also did great. Most of the OG band from Cheap Trick so i feel blessed to have seen that. Even to see whats left of Foreigner, all things considered, still an amazing show put on despite lack of OG members.

You can see some clips inside this video if you watch, i sprinkled a few of em in there to give people an idea of what to expect.  So the 14th show consisted of Daughtry and Nickelback, again both really talented bands who played well. Loved just how well all the bands synced together on stage like it was all meant to be and nothing was out of place, something you can only achieve having true passion and years of experience. The sound was all on point for these acts as well, i mean both shows. Nickelbacks opening of the show really took me, just thought the red glaring lights and Feed The Machine opening was intense. Daughtry coming out to do saving me was cool, along with the people who sang rockstar on stage. They also did a version of Hotel California for a min, that was interesting, to say the least. 

So all together i would sum it up as a good experience, i wish i could elaborate more but right now im strapped for time, perhaps ill make some edits in the future on certain details. Possibly upload some other clips to this blog only. I was considering making an alternative Blog for music and other likes or interests.. If you have a craving to see live bands i would recommend these ones, all put on a great show, the venues where swell, sound quality seemed great when i went. So in closing, i had a good time, really looking forward to more shows in the future, possibly by same artists at some point.
