aegon iii would never have been happy married to jaehaera and vice versa. these were two heavily traumatized children. jaehaera would have to deal with being married to the son of the man who had her brother executed (not to mention that she already had severe physical and mental health issues that were not being treated and the people around her [aegon ii before he died and alicent after] were actively making her life worse). aegon would have to deal with being married to the daughter of the man who had his dragon burn and eat his mother alive while he watched. which he never ended up letting go of (even with a wife who we know he obviously loved dearly) he wore black for the rest of his life and was stated to be the most solemn king due to what he experienced during the dance. there was no saving them.

Jimmy Can't Give Curly Mercy

So I've seen people say that Jimmy putting Curly in the cryopod was an act of cruelty and they're right but for the wrong reasons. Most people say that because they believe Curly's state of being is so awful he'd be better off dead. Which is ableist for someone else to decide. Curly wanting to die would be one thing but no one asks post crash Curly what he wants. Nothing that happens to Curly post crash is for his benefit or done based on what he wants because no one seems to ask him or listen when he does make his wishes known.

Jimmy can't give Curly mercy because he's still dehumanizing Curly even at the end. He's also still Curly's abuser who has absolute power over him and can do with Curly as he pleases. Whether Curly lives or dies is entirely up to his abuser.

When Jimmy put Curly into the cryopod it was just an abuser deciding to let his victim live for the sack of his own ego. If Jimmy had killed Curly it would have just been an abuser murdering his victim because he was finally done with him. Jimmy can't give Curly mercy because he'd have to do what Curly wants and what Curly actually wants isn't even a concept to Jimmy because he can't see Curly as his own person.

lottielee is so good because it is the driving force behind SO MUCH in yellowjackets all because laura lee looked at lottie and saw something good. purpose was given, and laura lee dies for it, and lottie ends up killing for it. it's not what either of them want, but out in the woods what they provide is only what is useful to the group, and so lottie becomes a scapegoat and en excuse for the violence to come. and its good because tragic yuri 😌

This scene really hurts when you think about it.

Like... imagine you've been looking up to someone your whole life, you've been looking at their photos to give you strength while you you were down and even though everyone told you you didnt deserve to be near your idol you still believe they would look at you kindly and that idol not only ends up disliking you but they become friends with your abuser right in front of you. You would naturally feel angry that someone you've been told is a kind and caring person chooses to side with someone who hurt you over and over.

I think that's one of the things that makes my blood boil the most about remarried empress. Not only was everything Rashta loved slowly taken away including her own two children, one of her children was given to Lebetti to raise and now her abuser gets to be known as a sweet girl who supposedly did what Rashta wouldn't. An abuser being treated like a saint because the victim was a scapegoat for the story to distract you from the fact that the abuser was just that.

The Cult of the Lamb Goat!

Friends and mutuals were making Cult of the Lamb sonas, so I decided to join in. They told me that I am quite chaotic and mean when I play so I decided to go for the goat character!

I think the thing that grinds my gears about the Queerbait™️ discussion of Nandermo outside of every other point I've already beaten to death is that people keep acting like having Nandermo leave off without Explicit Physical and Verbal On Screen Confirmation They're Fucking (never mind the lore implications as to why they never did that are also canon, that's a whole other post) is answering "they won't" to a Will They Won't They situation.

Like... they didn't. They're still a Will They Won't They. That's the point. That's the joy in leaving the show open ended with the message of "our lives all go on after this and you don't get to see it". It's fun. Imagining what happens with them is fun.

And like, Paul Simms said for years that not only does he not write (as the showrunner!! btw!!) Nandermo to be what people typically see as Romantic while still emphasizing that YES they are in love, yes they are partners, yes they are fucked up and codependent, but that also he loved their dynamic so much that he never wanted to ruin it one way or another. Like, their fucked up little codependency IS the point, that's why they're so unique and charming, and he didn't have to (canonically!!) write in that the two of them had feelings for each other, but he did, because he knew That's What It Is. Because they're a dumb little queer and unconventional love story.

Game Killer/Stopper Ace AU, where his attempt of attacking and breaking MonoTV is actually successful. The mastermind only has one spare of it and the data in broken MonoTV has way too many information that's important for them. Therefore, when Ace broke MonoTV, the game is temporarily paused until the mastermind gains access back to it's body to keep it running. While mastermind is scheming, Ace takes over the leadership of the group and divides them to two seperate positions: Guards and Lookers. Guards are those that'll guard the body of MonoTV and try to figure out its secrets; and Lookers are people that’ll look and search the academy throughly again for an escape route or hidden passage that might lead to mastermind or outside, whichever one happens the first. Daily, Ace not only manages the news/reports and problems from both of the positions, but also partakes in both activities (Aka he is the only person that looks for an exit/passageway AND partakes in MonoTV's "autopsy"/guarding in the entire class) to make sure nothing funny is happening. He's been known as a coward among the group and he knows that if the game starts again, he will certainly die. Ace needs to make sure that they can either bring down the mastermind or escape outside as quick as possible; he also tries his hardest to train everyone physically (because despite his weight, he is canonically stronger than majority of the group) and prepare them for a fight, just in case in the mastermind tries to get MonoTV back by attacking the Guards. While Ace knows he can't clean his reputation after killing Arei, he is not willing to let the chaos and distrust among them ruin the class more than it already have. Especially with whatever mindfuck David, Teruko, Veronika and Hu are going through right now. Because of the broken glass from punching MonoTV cutting his hand and fingers, he now has a horribly scarred hand and is way more confident and bold on leading the class to their survival. He'll make sure Arei's death will be the second to last one their group will have to suffer from, with the mastermind's own death being the last one.

Butcher Vanity J, where J is the mastermind. She has an eating disorder which she can only eat meat otherwise her body will refuse to function. She quickly learns that out of all meat types; the human meat is the healthiest, tastiest and easiest to get. Therefore, she sets a Killing Game to consume more corpses. Whenever a Trial ends, she eats the corpse of the blackened and victim behind closed doors.
