Galactik football x Homestuck AU type thing

well, more like me troll-ificating the Snow Kids. I only drew headshots because i couldn't figure out the shirt designs as you'll see

explaining the important HS lore for this AU:

-in HS, there is an alien species called Trolls who live on a planet called Alternia. Alternia is a violent shithole where everyone is seperated with their place in society being decided by their blood color-there are 12 and they're based on zodiac signs

(Lowblood castes,the extinct limebloods who are considered a mutation now due to rarity, midbloods, highbloods and the 2nd highest blood caste is seadweller royalty, and the top blood caste only consisting of the queen),

-and the queen wants to take over as many worlds as possible to add to the empire

°for the purpose of this au, just like the GF novelization claims (it isn't canon but it's better than nothing) that the humans came to the Zaelion Galaxy out of nowhere and settled on Akillian, the same happened here but with a group of trolls. The bitch ass queen isn't a thing anymore(probably got defeated) because the Alternian empire would obviously want to take over the Zaelion Galaxy if she was alive.

°blood color also isn't as important anymore because well...obviously. let's assume that most of the trolls that somehow came to the Zaelion Galaxy were a progressive bunch. There's still a monarchy lead by a queen and vague aristocracy but that's about it.

-in HS depending on which caste they are, the troll may have a power. The bottom 3 lowbloods(rust,bronze and gold) all have psychic abilities, the extinct limebloods had something about them that had the queen wanting them dead, the olivebloods are generally lucky and the higher up you go on the spectrum, you don't have abilities but you do get a resistance to them. Unless you have a mutation that gives you psychic abilities

°this still applies in the AU, however it is not considered a flux. My reasoning for this is that only certain members of the species have it so it doesn't apply. And also some members of the flux society clearly have psychic powers but flux use is illegal sooo? And as well,i consider the flux to be like the bending from Avatar. It's not genetic,spiritual or physical but some secret 4th thing. The GF novelization even states that no one knows where flux comes from so they still get the breath of Akillian! (but not for long because WHOOPS there goes the glaciation!)

-in HS on Alternia, there are no adults. The baby grubs (because yes the trolls sre insects) are taken care of by animals called lusii until they are old enough to become the animals' caretaker themselves. Obviously traumatic and not very effective method of raising well adjusted members of a healthy society

°so in this AU they developed past the point of abandoning children to be taken care of by animals and the adults actually parent.

°the reason why all of the names in the pic are 6 letters is because all of the trolls in HS have 6 letter names. I couldn't bother with Tia so let's just say its a shortened nickname. Sinedd and Rocket are the only ones with valid troll names which once again proves they are the edgiest

DESIGN explanations:

-i picked the blood color/zodiac based purely on vibes because we don't know the SK birthdays and most of them are spot on in my opinion. Except Ahito and Thran who didn't really fit anywhere so i just picked indigo bc blue color. Also i wanted to make Rocket a goldblood(gemini) because of the whole duality aspect between s1 and 2 but since i was drawing on paper and so focused on the horns i forgot literally ALL OF THE GOLDBLOOD DESIGN ELEMENTS. so i changed him to a jadeblood and lo and behold it fits better as well

-the horns are based mostly on shirt designs and jersey numbers(rockets' is the netherball one) with the exception of Mei and Micro ice. I had no idea what to do with them so i just. Drew some shit

-i made Mei a purpleblood purely because they all wear clown makeup. Still makeup nonetheless

-all of the trolls have black hair so anyone here that doesn't dyes it

-all of the trolls wear their zodiac or extended zodiac symbol on their clothes, but i really, really could not be bothered to figure out which one all of these people are. So i just drew headshots. I thought of taking the extended zodiac quiz answering the questions as i think each of the characters would based on the color i chose for them but that would take WAAY too long. Feel free to do it urself if u want

-i thought it would be cool if the horns could be utilized more in the design, so i made a version where the characters painted their horns their football teams' color before a match! Could have picked the shadows colors better but whatever

i used a guide to touch up the designs after i already drew them on paper and the HS wiki to check out if my blood color takes were correct.

Lovejoy would deffo be called Flushjoy, but i'm up in the air about castes (however, i am tempted to say that wilbur is goldblooded because.. y'know.. Will Gold™️. but also tempted to say that every time it comes up he says something different since he's known to just lie about stuff that's semi-personal for fun)

Glass Animals would prolly be Glass Lusii (the album covers and songs give me major goldblood vibes, though that's just bc i associate vaporwave with the gold caste for whatever reason) i feel like NSP would probably be something like Ninja Pail Party, and while Danny is an aries irl, i feel like either Indigo or violet suit his band persona's vibe more (Ninja Brian definitely feels like he'd be a silent, but very much deadly Oliveblood bodyguard in regard to Danny based on his band persona)

Waterparks would probably be named something like Waterlogged recreation sprawls (Watersprawls for short) ((Very funny that Awsten Knight is a valid troll name already)) not sure about his caste, but his zodiac is capricorn, so there's that! Owl City... maybe Hootfiend Stemcluster? (who is a cancer zodiac wise, though i'm sure if that's the case on alternia, he'd definitely just be posing as some other caste)

Tommy - mutated limeblood, like Karkat. Honestly, he’d probably even have the same sign, as I like to think of c!tommy as a Blood player. Either that or a Time player, and tbh he could fit either Derse or Prospit he’s v all over the place

Tubbo - ooooh that’s a goldblood fr. He’s smart and he doesn’t take any shit. I think his sign would be Gemra, Sign of the Pilot (Prospit + Mind)

Ranboo - Limeblood. Not a mutant one, just a normal limeblood, but I feel like he and ctommy could have a sense of camaraderie by being outcasts in Alternian society together. To me he’d be a Canga, Sign of the Playwright (Derse + Space)

Jack - he is literally sollux. goldblood, probably just a Prospit dreamer instead of Derse, so I think he’d be a Gemino, Sign of the Condemned (Prospit + Doom)

Niki - FUSCHIA!!! She’s got seadweller vibes, very feferi coded. I think she’s be a Piborn, Sign of the Albatross (Derse + Rage)

Wilbur - okkkkk tbh i think he’s a blueblood. He’s also a Bard of Heart & Prospit dreamer THAT IS FINAL!! He’s a Scorlo, Sign of the Devious

Quackity - Teal!! He’s a tealblood. He could be a Blood player, but could also be Light. Either way he’s a Bard and a Prospit dreamer, so either Licer, Sign of the Charmer (Prospit + Blood) or Lipio, Sign of the Initiate (Prospit + Light)

yes hi hello I saw ur classpecting hermits post and I have many thoughts,

1. voidrot mumbo is So Good like genuinely i feel people dont touch on the troll lore hiveswap gave us all that much so to see it has me frothing at the mouth

2. rainbow drinker Cleo is just so cool, Cleo gets to glow, as a treat OH AND with purpleblood joe they could have an agreement where joe from a moral stand point doesnt like killing but like feferi hes okay with doing it out of necessity and to help a friend (which in turn helps him but he doesnt like to think about it)

3. okay I'm going to seem like im just saying this bc yellow is impulses thing but goldblood impulse would honestly make more sense? mostly because he is a redstoner before builder and hes not the best at pvp (applicable bc indigobloods are known for strength over most other things) also as a nod to s8 his colors could be purple and yellow

3b. actually tbh the longer I think about it the more okay I am with him being an indigoblood actually but I still wanna throw my 2 cents out there

4. scar should be an oliveblood purely because certain bloods tend to have certain lusii and his lusii should be a big jellie also because I think it fits trickster personality :]

First of all thanks for sending me an ask since I don't usually have those XD I'll put a somewhat organized list of my thoughts and such

I added voidrot Mumbo not because I was going through Hiveswap lore but because I was going through Subgrubs and Snazzards since someone in the tags of my post told me about that, and as soon as I read that description I was like "oh Mumbo definitely sounds like someone who'd say 'I'm dying constantly all the time' not even as a troll just in general"

I added rainbow drinker Cleo because 1) rainbow drinkers are described as like vampires and vampires are undead, and so are zombies so yeah. 2) because yeah Cleo deserves to glow and drink blood as a treat. Idk too much about what you said about Joe so I'm just gonna nod and smile

Now with Impulse I'd have to agree a bit about how he'd be gold since that's sort of his color as well as being sort of tech-based, but 1) I tried using the gold color given when I was trying to draw characters and oh my gosh why is it like that I want to use it as sparingly as possible I need help in a good shade, 2) I wanted to reference the original fanart in my post and Impulse was an indigoblood there. Obviously there are better reasons but I'm not too far deep into Homestuck to know what they are

Olivebloods are stated to be more comfortable with things they are familiar with and are alarmed by new ideas. We never see this in Scar, he actively embraces changes to keep things fresh each season. And indigobloods are actually stated to be sporadic and change often, careless, and surprise friends often which are all things we see in Scar a LOT. And also they said that, and I quote, "being around a well-adjusted indigoblood is always a good time" which I mean like. Cmon. I can't say no to that. Although I will say the whole lusus thing might've swayed me a little but shhhhhhh we can make our own canon and I didn't have time to think of lusus and also they had a trend to just die a lot and I don't want that for Jellie soooo

I literally just based off tealblood Cub after the original fanart I have no idea what tealblood's deal is, so if anyone has an idea as to why tealblood Cub is good please let me know
