This headcanon is just me fulfilling my own delusions, let’s get that out of the way first/hj

Fun fact this was also written at work :D

Minho is very much an affectionate tease; he absolutely loves the playful little dynamic the both of you have got going on

Always feels like there’s an inside joke for just the two of you to share

If it’s not playful teasing, then it’s the softest domesticity in the world and I stand by this

Cuddling on the sofa after the two of you get home and wordlessly deciding on what to watch

Gentle touches on the small of your back when he walks past

Especially when you’re cooking together, and he needs to grab something from the cupboard

Waking up in the morning and the affection is just pouring out of his eyes

Yk what I mean

The lazy smiles, the quiet “g’morning” followed by “no, no, we can stay in a little bit longer”

All the while the cats are using your legs as cushions

And hey if the cats love you then that’s it, he’s planning the wedding/hj

There is not a day that goes by where your name is not on this man’s lips

Every day without fail he finds a way to mention you in conversations with his friends

The members already have to hear this man singing your praises day in and day out

In fact, it was likely Chan that encouraged him to approach you in the first place, Minho at first just very content to admire you from a distance

Not that he wasn’t confident that you’d like him

But that he’s a very, very, busy man with his idol career

And he wouldn’t want to force you to have to deal with the second-hand stress that clearly comes with dating an idol

Cue a montage of him coming to befriend you and slowly worming his way into your heart

Before you know it you also have a crush on this man

And somehow becomes a situation-ship?? Don’t ask me I don’t make the rules, I just write these things

You’re visiting him during practice with drinks and snacks for everyone, engaging with the other members and they love you

All the more reason for Minho to fall further and further in love with you

You’re sweet, care for him and love being around the important people in his life?? Just what did he do to deserve you—

The whatever-it-is between you doesn’t get defined for a while, but you’re both content atm

One day he slips and calls you his lover, but he says it with the upmost conviction

The man means it, I tell you

When you find out, from one of the kids (who said that—) you tease him with a “we’re lovers now are we?”

Which is exactly the moment you understand why a shy Minho is an adorable Minho

“If, well- you know…I think it fits.”

“I do too.” And he pulls you into one of those tight hugs where you can feel his heartbeat and good lord it’s doing double time

If somehow, he wasn’t already doing it before, Minho is now calling you nothing else but every fond pet name under the sun that he associates with you

Uses some of the odder pet names when he wants to hear you snort with laughter

“Hey there, kitten,” and the two of you are snickering bc neither of you can take that one seriously

Your collective friend groups roll their eyes when the two of you team up to cause chaos

Casually pulling harmless pranks on everyone who’s game

Oh, and he holds your hand. All the time. Absolutely everywhere

His hand kinda just seeks yours out on its own sometimes lmao

There’s just something about that shared warmth every time that he loves

That and he thinks it’s cute when you drag him around to show him something when you’re out on a date

Makes a huge fuss out of being taken somewhere and yet he’s willingly looking up the directions and driving the car, admonishing you for even suggesting that he doesn’t have to.

Excuse me will you accept his acts of service or what?? Let him love you dammit/lh

Nicole's Favorite Books That She Read in 2024!

I think I missed doing this post the last few years, but let's get back on the train, shall we?

In no particular order, we have:

The Book of Ile-Rein, by Martha Wells: I've been gobbling up all the Martha Wells backlist that Tor has been reprinting, and I adored this set. Element of Fire was a classic and Death of the Necromancer was a romp. Both were fun for very different reasons, but as always I love Martha's characters too much.

Lady Eve's Last Con, by Rebecca Fairmow: Oh, what an absolute DELIGHT of a novel! Full of 1820s etiquette and elegance, 1920s glitz and glam, 2020s swag and shenanigans, and 2120s gravity and grit, this book is fast and fun. The characters are unforgettable, the plot is unputdownable, and the romance is to die for. The most fun you've had at a zero-g engagement gala, for sure.

The River Has Roots, by Amal El-Mohtar: Comes out in March 2025!: I cannot put into coherent words how very much I love Amal El-Mohtar's writing. It's just so beautiful. Lyrical and clever, intricate but open, so full of heart. This book was written with so much love, and it shows. I could wrap myself in this story like it's a scarf and just wander its sentences forever.

The City in Glass, by Nghi Vo: God, this book is so beautiful, but it made me full-body sob for an entire chapter, so I guess, be aware. This book is about grief. Loss and hurt and anger and grief. It is absolutely gorgeous.

Parable of the Sower, by Octavia Butler: It's really hard to rate this book because it was amazing and also horrifying. So many terrible things happen, but the book is beautiful, too. Despite the fact that everything that can go wrong in Lauren's life does, in fact, go wrong, she is so hopeful. She's got something to believe in, and she is so tenacious. I hated this book and I also loved it. And I am so deeply angry at every literature class I took that didn't teach Octavia Butler.

The Dead Cat Tail Assassins, by P Djeli Clark: I don't think P. Djèlí Clark is capable of writing a thing I don't like. His prose is just magical, his ideas are brilliant, his characters are wonderful, and his books just fill me with joy. This was hilarious and brutal and fun and sad and I loved it. I loved it so much.

Mammoths at the Gates, by Nghi Vo: If you haven't read the Singing Hills, don't start with this one, go back and read the first three. But then read this one. This one is about grief and it is beautiful.

Swordcrossed, by Freya Marske: The Midnight Bargain's less magical and much spicier cousin, this book is an absolute delight. I'm a sucker for a snarky con man with a heart of gold, so I was sold on Luca from page one, but Matti crept up on me and I found myself loving his seriousness and his sneaky sense of humor, too. Personally, I want the Maya and Sofia POV of this book, because I love those two women more than I can explain, but I'm content with the disaster boys getting the spotlight, too. A great, low-stakes romp though business espionage, sword lessons, guild intrigue, "sword lessons", and the wildest wedding this town has ever seen, Swordcrossed is just fun. So much fun.

A Novel Love Story, by Ashley Poston: This one is about how books by your favorite authors have the ability to change the course of your life, and I just wish Ashley could know that she's that author for me. I love this book.

Howl's Moving Castle, by Diana Wynne Jones: I'm still not sure how I somehow managed to miss this book entirely, but god, it is SO SWEET and I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It wraps up very quickly at the end, but honestly, that feels very Howl--slapdash and manic and wild. I love how Sophie is the embodiment of "This Might As Well Happen." I just really love them all. What a good book.

Godkiller, by Hannah Kaner: I loved Kissen from page one, and Elo is such a soft boy he was irresistible, and I love the worldbuilding of this strange, godful land sO MUCH. The circle of people creating gods who create people and destroy them so the people must destroy them is such a fascinating design for faith and belief, and I loved the exploration of it.

The Mars House, by Natasha Pulley: Have you ever gotten mad at an author for being too good at writing words? For taking deep, dark, heavy topics like prejudice and fear, anger and murder, right versus good versus kind--and making them beautiful and delicate? For taking harsh edges and writing them in such a way that they seem like soft candlelight? For taking real science and feeding enough fiction into it that you hope this is how the world turns out because maybe, if it were real, then things might be okay a long time from now? Anyway, I've finished this book and I am pissed off that I finished it because what the hell do I read now?

City of Bones, by Martha Wells: While I don't jive with the title of this book (and I'm not sure the book jives with it either), I loved everything else about it. Wells is an absolute master of characters, especially non-human characters that end up being the most human and the best of them. Khat is no exception, and falls in with Murderbot, Moon, and Kai on my favorites list. I love a person who is too deeply good for their own safety. And Wells writes these doofuses perfectly. It's a slow start and a soft story (surprisingly soft, considering how dark it can be), but if you can give it a little patience and attention, this book--like its main character--will open up to you and reward you greatly for your time.

Tribute

“And what,” Romivrax asked in as mild a tone as she could manage, “are you doing here?”

The girl stared up at her, eyes level with defiance. “I-if it please,” she quavered, “I-I’m the l-latest tri-tribute.”

Romivrax sighed, and the force of her breath blew the maiden off her knees and onto her seat. Romivrax shut her eyes, and the spines that adorned her ocular ridges moved toward each other as her brow furrowed, eyes lifted toward the cave ceiling. “Not enough you silly people have to litter my lair with your knick-knacks and tchotchkes,” she grumbled. “Now I’m supposed to adopt your orphans?” She turned her eyes toward the girl. “What do they call you, child?”

“M-Meriwyn, if it please,” the girl managed. “A-and I’m no orphan. M-my p-parents offered me be-because they knew no m-man would wed me.”

“But a dragon wouldn’t care?” Romivrax retorted. “Is that it?”

Meriwyn shrugged. “Th-they f-figured you wouldn’t care if your p-prey s-stuttered.”

“Prey, again,” Romivrax growled. “A few unmannered, feral wyrms develop a taste for it, and the whole race gets painted with the same brush.” She lay her head on the ground, so her eyes met level with Meriwyn’s. “Listen, child. You aren’t my prey. You couldn’t be. I can’t abide the taste of meat. Fair makes me sick.”

“Th-then what g-good am I?” Meriwyn challenged bitterly.

Romivrax’s brow furrowed again, but not in exasperation. “Is that how it is?” she asked, barely above a whisper.

Meriwyn scowled, and scrubbed hard at the traitorous tear that spilled down one cheek. “How else?” she spat. “Not p-pretty, not graceful, can’t s-sing, can ba-barely speak! N-no man wants me f-for f-fear my ch-children’ll inherit my c-curse, and now I’m not even good enough for a sacrifice! So what’s left?” She hiccuped and rubbed her eyes some more, but pressed her lips together, throat working to choke back sobs.

The dragon cocked her head, one brow arched. “Answer me a question, Meriwyn. Riddle me a mystery.” She lifted one paw and swept a corner of her cave, where treasure lay in a haphazard pile. “Why? Why all this? Why you?”

“The f-famine,” Meriwyn explained. “They th-think if they win your favor, you’ll b-bring back the crops.”

Romivrax snorted. “Do they now?”

“D-do you mean th-they’re wrong?” Meriwyn wondered.

“They are,” Romivrax confirmed, “but not for the reasons they think. The barren fields aren’t my doing, nor do I have the power to turn them fertile again.” Her eyes narrowed. “But you could.”

Meriwyn blinked and stared at the dragon. “M-me?” Her voice cracked. “How? I know no m-magic! And even if I d-did, how could I c-cast a spell?”

“I’ll make you a bargain, Meriwyn,” Romivrax proposed. “Stay here with me. Take instruction from me. Then, after six moons have passed, return to your village.”

“They w-won’t have me!” Meriwyn objected.

“After six moons with me,” Romivrax promised, “if they turn you away, they deserve their fate. And it’ll be of their own making, none of mine. What do you say?”

Meriwyn pursed her lips, eyes fixed on some distant point. “Wh-what have I to lose?” she resigned herself.

The winter passed, bitter and cold. The people of Middletree spent all their effort on survival, so none was spared for further appeasement of the demon in the cave. As for the maid Meriwyn, her parents hoped the end had come with merciful speed, and the next year’s crop would benefit from her sacrifice.

With the spring thaw they gathered, gaunt and beaten by too much time and too little food, but ready to try again because what else could they do?

When Meriwyn strode down the middle of Middletree’s single lane, everybody stared. She stood the same height as before, but with assurance that made her tower. Her frame, previously as wasted as theirs, filled out with the benefit of a regular, nutritious diet. The dress she wore bore neither gilt nor jewel, no lace or fine embroidery, but clean and well-made enough to seem noble.

“My people,” Meriwyn spoke, and her voice commanded attention. “I bring the means of our salvation!”

“Meriwyn!” her mother cried. “Your stutter!”

“A miracle!” her father declared. “A blessing from the dragon?”

Meriwyn shook her head. “No miracle,” she countered, “no magic. Just like the restoration of our fields will not be magic. But it will work, if you do as I say.”

From her lair above the town, Romivrax watched the seasons pass. Planting, growth, harvesting. Two years later, Meriwyn returned, hiking up the path. Below, Middletree’s fields blossomed, and the village itself seemed more full of life.

“They listened,” Romivrax deduced. She lay her head on the ground.

Meriwyn rushed to the dragon, and wrapped her arms as far as she could around Romivrax’s neck. “They did,” she confirmed. “They didn’t believe it would work at first, but hearing me speak, able to speak, they took the chance and bought the grains I instructed.” She squeezed Romivrax again. “Thank you, old wyrm.”

Romivrax chuckled. “What did I do?” she retorted. “It was humans like you who discovered crop rotation, humans who wrote it down. I just happened to acquire it in my years of collecting. The rest, you and your people did.”

“Have it your way,” Meriwyn laughed. “Just like the lessons you taught me, to control my stutter.”

“And lest you think there’s a single altruistic bone in this old body,” Romivrax warned, “I had a very specific, selfish reason for doing so.”

“I’ve wanted to ask,” Meriwyn wondered. “Why?”

Romivrax pointed to the pile of metal and jewels. “So you’d stop burdening me with more of that useless trash. Take it back, would you? Use it to buy more grain for coming seasons. I treasure, well, you know.”

Meriwyn nodded. “I do. I’ve seen your library.”

A) There’s so much after care with these two dorks. Robb wants to hold Maeve, and she’d let him as he strokes her hair and they either talk or just soak in the comfortable silence.

B) Maeve likes Robb’s hands the most, and Robb likes laying his head on her chest/stomach because of how soft she is 🥹

C) I don’t see Robb as the type to like painting on the outside, if you get what I mean…😂 He doesn’t want his goods to go to waste. Also a large part of him (he was raised to be a gentleman) would feel bad about making a mess on Maeve.

D) Maybe that they both tickle the pickle to the thought of one another.

SFW Howie Alphabet Headcanons

Author's Note: When will my husband come home from war?

Disclaimer: These headcanons are based on how I imagine Howie to be based on the game. You don't have to agree with what I say here as everyone is free to have their own ideas.

𝄥 𝄞 ── 𝄇

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

VERY affectionate. I honestly feel like he grew up surrounded with so much love and now he’s just overflowing with it. Howie is all about showing his love through warm hugs, having his arm around you, swinging your hands as you walk, head pats, you name it. Another one, in my opinion, is words of affirmation. He'd tell you how much you matter to him through words, like quoting lines from his favorite movies and saying "I love you" before you both go to sleep.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Affectionate. Lots of play fighting and cuddling during movie sessions. Singing to Disney songs at the top of your lungs. You guys make friendship bracelets for each other (and he never takes off his). Definitely one of those dudes who drive their best friend everywhere.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

If it’s not apparent already, this dude is a giant golden retriever and he lives for the cuddles. He is born to cuddle, baby. Due to his size, it’s natural that he ends up as a big spoon more often than not but he definitely loves the moments he gets to be the small spoon.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

So domestic, even when you guys just started dating. It’s easy to imagine yourself settling down with someone as warm and comforting as Howie. He would love to settle down and build a home with you and you guys love having conversations about your dream house and how your life would be like in five, ten years. He’s alright at cooking in general but can cook some amazing Chinese dishes that his mom taught him.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

It would be hard for him to get out of a relationship, to be completely honest. He’s one of those people who easily gets attachment issues and finds it hard to move on from a relationship. If he really has to be the one to end the relationship, he would want to talk it out with you and try to end your relationship on a good note. I feel like he’s one of those people who really values respect, even when things aren’t working out anymore between you two.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Howie is a hopeless romantic and while he does have his insecurities, I feel like he would really love to commit to someone. In terms of marriage, it really depends on you. I don’t think his career would hinder him much when it comes to popping the question, to be honest. If he feels like he’s comfortable enough with the relationship and sees that you are, too, I think he’d propose to you when he feels like the time is right.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Howie is a textbook example of a gentle giant. He knows he’s strong so physically, he knows when to hold back a bit. Emotionally, it’s canon that he’s a soft and caring boy through and through and he would never hurt you on purpose.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Ugh, he LOVES hugs. It’s canon that the Yan fam is really good with hugs so if you need a pick-me-up, he’s your man. Whenever you guys are alone, he acts like an overgrown koala because he can’t get enough of hugging you. If hot chocolate is a hug, it’s what Howie’s would feel like. Warm, familiar, and comforting.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He knows he loves you when he does but holds back a lot in fear of coming off too strong. If he feels that you feel the same, then he would say it pretty quickly into the relationship or during a spur of a moment. If it seems that you need more time, he would hold back just so that you wouldn't feel uncomfortable.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He’s the type who’s less jealous and more insecure. His jealousy isn’t going to make him act rashly and put you on the spot. It’s slow and creeping and you might not notice at first because of how well he conceals it but it becomes apparent by the way he starts to act distant.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Warm and gentle. His kisses make you feel so safe and loved and he likes to take the time to show you how he feels through the gesture. He loves to kiss you everywhere but his favorite places to kiss you are your nose and temples.

Also, kiss him on the forehead and he’d melt into a puddle. Another one of his hotspots is at the back of his neck. Kiss him there and watch him sputter as he tries to gain back his bearings.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

He loves kids, kids love him. He humors the kids a lot and is a great impersonator so prepare yourself for some improvised skits in front of the kiddos. Can’t say no to the kids, though, so you might have to step in from time to time. Kids treat him like a human jungle gym. Which he actually is.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

I definitely see him as a morning person. Also, he’s so fit that you can’t tell me he doesn’t workout every single morning. Probably goes on an early jog and is one of those people who seems so chipper even if it's only seven in the morning.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Have you seen actors with their stage makeup on? There’s no way Howie’s skin stays so smooth and supple without some form of skincare routine. Has his own skincare routine and loves doing it with you together in front of the mirror (while making faces at you). After a good skincare session, he'll sit on the couch or in bed with you cuddled up to him as he reads scripts from his new upcoming projects.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Depending on how much he trusts you, it could be sooner or later. The thing with him is that he keeps things bottled up to himself. It’s hard and it’s tiring and the moment he feels safe with you, the dam breaks and he starts to reveal things about himself.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

It’s definitely hard to annoy Howie and even harder to provoke him. He has the patience of a saint and unless something is very wrong, you can always find him just chillin lol.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He’s quite sentimental so he definitely remembers your relationship milestones. He remembers a lot of small things about you; like how you like your cereal and your best friend’s name from high school. Some of the details can be fuzzy at times but he tries!

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Canonically: The moment you said yes when he asked to be your boyfriend at Luca’s "sister's wedding".

Headcanon: The time you both visited his family in Chicago for the holidays. You were walking home from dinner when the snowfall turned into a snowstorm. It was terribly cold and windy but you both kept on laughing at the situation and you looked so gorgeous with snow stuck to your hair under the waning streetlight that he didn’t even care that he's freezing his butt off.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Isn’t too protective in the traditional sense because he knows you can take care of yourself. More protective of how you feel because of his words and actions so he’s careful in what he says and how he says them because he doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. Highkey loves to be protected tho. Thinks it's kinda hot.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Puts a lot of effort in his career, obviously. Howie is always so passionate and ambitious when it comes to being a top actor. Relationship-wise, he’s a simp. Dates are mostly casual with him but he puts extra time and effort in choosing or making gifts. All the extra and expensive bits goes into your anniversary dates.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

A lot of times, he leaves his wet, sweaty workout shirts at the corner of the room and somehow always forgets no matter how many times you’ve scolded him. Sometimes doesn’t close or tie snack packages properly so when it's your turn to eat them, they’re often stale. A terrible snorer when he’s had a long day on set.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Quite concerned. He likes to highlight the nice parts of his body through the clothes he choose to wear and tries to follow a healthy diet in general. He worked hard for his body and as much as embarrassing as it is to admit, he loves to show off and be admired for it (especially by you).

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

A strong believer that every person is complete and whole on their own. He believes that every person is their own and just because you love someone, it doesn't mean that your life must revolve around that person. Even so, he is a romantic. So even if he knows that he's complete without you, he does prefer to have you by his side.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

He can play the piano really well. Aside from dance lessons, his parents put aside a lot of money to sign him up for piano classes when he was younger. Now, he plays them whenever he’s deep in thought and it’s always relaxing to hear him play.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

In general, Howie doesn’t like broccoli. Keep those away from him. Please. When it comes to partners, Howie stays away from people who make him feel less. Basically people who put him down for being who he is and liking the things he likes. Narcissists, if you will.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

He’s a snuggler and he nuzzles into your side a lot when he sleeps. Whether you get too warm is your problem because this dude is Strong™ and won’t let you push him aside that easily. And, God, I hate to say this but he’s definitely a snorer. Not all the time but when he’s really tired.... let’s just say you won’t be getting a decent sleep.

Tribute

“And what,” Romivrax asked in as mild a tone as she could manage, “are you doing here?”

The girl stared up at her, eyes level with defiance. “I-if it please,” she quavered, “I-I’m the l-latest tri-tribute.”

“M-Meriwyn, if it please,” the girl managed. “A-and I’m no orphan. M-my p-parents offered me be-because they knew no m-man would wed me.”

“But a dragon wouldn’t care?” Romivrax retorted. “Is that it?”

Meriwyn shrugged. “Th-they f-figured you wouldn’t care if your p-prey s-stuttered.”

“Th-then what g-good am I?” Meriwyn challenged bitterly.

Romivrax’s brow furrowed again, but not in exasperation. “Is that how it is?” she asked, barely above a whisper.

“The f-famine,” Meriwyn explained. “They th-think if they win your favor, you’ll b-bring back the crops.”

Romivrax snorted. “Do they now?”

“D-do you mean th-they’re wrong?” Meriwyn wondered.

Meriwyn blinked and stared at the dragon. “M-me?” Her voice cracked. “How? I know no m-magic! And even if I d-did, how could I c-cast a spell?”

“I’ll make you a bargain, Meriwyn,” Romivrax proposed. “Stay here with me. Take instruction from me. Then, after six moons have passed, return to your village.”

“They w-won’t have me!” Meriwyn objected.

“After six moons with me,” Romivrax promised, “if they turn you away, they deserve their fate. And it’ll be of their own making, none of mine. What do you say?”

Meriwyn pursed her lips, eyes fixed on some distant point. “Wh-what have I to lose?” she resigned herself.

With the spring thaw they gathered, gaunt and beaten by too much time and too little food, but ready to try again because what else could they do?

“My people,” Meriwyn spoke, and her voice commanded attention. “I bring the means of our salvation!”

“Meriwyn!” her mother cried. “Your stutter!”

“A miracle!” her father declared. “A blessing from the dragon?”

Meriwyn shook her head. “No miracle,” she countered, “no magic. Just like the restoration of our fields will not be magic. But it will work, if you do as I say.”

“They listened,” Romivrax deduced. She lay her head on the ground.

“Have it your way,” Meriwyn laughed. “Just like the lessons you taught me, to control my stutter.”

“And lest you think there’s a single altruistic bone in this old body,” Romivrax warned, “I had a very specific, selfish reason for doing so.”

“I’ve wanted to ask,” Meriwyn wondered. “Why?”

Meriwyn nodded. “I do. I’ve seen your library.”

in the beginning of the relationship, he would definitely be very hesitant to show physical or verbal affection since it wasn’t something he was used to. he’d show his love with acts of service and giving, most likely. (giving his s/o one of the devas if he knew they’d be separated for a short period of time, bringing them small trinkets he found like pretty rocks or bones, helping them with homework, etc.)

as time goes on, though, he’d become more comfortable with showing physical affection and would grow to become a huge cuddle bug!!! please hug him for me

b = best friend (what would they be like as a best friend?)

literally the coolest friend ever. especially if you had an alternative fashion sense, he’d be so down to go clothes shopping with you LMAO

if you were okay initiating physical affection outside of a romantic relationship, and were able to make him comfortable with that, he’d totally be That Friend who cuddles with you all the time!! he’d never mention it though, and would die on impact if you brought it up in front of any of his other friends/classmates

once he’s comfortable with it, yeah! he’s definitely super touch starved because of him not having friends most of his life, so having someone to cuddle would make his brain go ^^^^^

honestly, i can’t see him being the type to want to get married. he’d definitely want to settle down! but the idea of having a traditional wedding stresses him out. (of course, that doesn’t mean he’d be any less committed :))

dealing with small animals like the devas has left him gentle by nature!! he doesn’t even notice it, but he is always extremely careful with his s/o with the subconscious fear of accidentally hurting them/scaring them off :(

emotion wise, i think it’d be the same. when he cares about someone (whether it be romantic or platonic) he’s always cautious of teasing them too much since he knows that it can hurt sometimes.

if he sees someone flirting with his s/o and they’re uncomfortable, he’ll immediately wrap an arm around their shoulder.

like i said before, he’s very gentle when it comes to affection so his kisses are vv soft!! he’ll always hold their chin or one of their hands.

after coming out of the shower, he walked in to see them asleep on his couch with the devas curled up on top of their chest. he went to go lay down with them and it just kind of.. hit him. that he wasn’t alone anymore and they loved and were there for him. :(

he’s very protective!! (especially if you’re in the killing game) the thought of something happening to you is his worst fear.
