I haven’t seen it discussed yet, so I feel like I should point out “Wonderful Precure” is a pun when the name is shortened. The official shorthand for Wonderful Precure (Wandaafuru Purikyuaa) is WanPuri. “Wan” is the Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound a dog makes, since Komugi is a dog.

i'm honestly a bit stressed about the mid season cure in wanpuri bc like there only seems to be evidence for daifuku becoming one but that would break up the duo pattern and make me sad for satoru but also they might hesitate at having TWO male cures + daifuku speaks like gangster and that is. extremely un-precure. and what if the mid season cure is just fucking niko-sama
