“Hmm? Oh, uh…” Jordan went quiet for a moment. “Not sure. My brain feels kind of foggy, Lou. But it’s been since probably Wednesday? Maybe?”

“Wednesday of this week?” Louis asked hopefully. If it had only been a matter of days, this might be withdrawal symptoms from the stimms and not full on touch deprivation.

“No, Wednesday of last week. I think. It might actually have been the week before? Oh god, that’s really bad, isn’t it?”

When Louis learns Jordan is close to falling into depri, he rushes over to help. What follows is so much more than either of them planned for.

soooo like a million people (that's a serious exaggeration) have tagged me in this or snippets but i haven't been writing at all, but then i fell and busted my ass the other day and megan @homosociallyyours was like prompt! and i was like @wankersday! so i started and almost finished a quickie for wankfest today and here's the last line i wrote:

As bad as it's been. Soap opera level of bad. 

I don’t care anymore. Haven’t cared for weeks. I've been very bitter and cynical about this show.

It’s not easy, the life of a long-distance trucker, but Liam wouldn’t change it for the world. The money’s decent, he’s got his own rig (courtesy of a buddy who’d moved to New Zealand), he’s in charge of his own destiny, and he gets to listen to all the weird podcasts he wants to. He’s also gotten to see some truly amazing things. Sunsets over the mountains. Bison in Montana and moose in Maine. Bald eagles and double rainbows. Beautiful sights, at times even awe-inspiring, but they pale in comparison to the car driving next to him.

Unsure if he was taking the stairs slowly because he was embarrassed or because he was still feeling off from the depri, Louis moved closer to the stairs but remained out of sight.
