im having mushy gay poly thoughts centering around overhaul jean/ororo

they’ve been dating for...a little bit (i still need to work out this chronology so bear with me, but it’s been at least a year) when ororo goes to visit japan. probably with logan but again, these years are still a little fuzzy for me

while in japan (you already know where this is going) ororo meets this woman and kind of falls head-over-heels

and she’s not entirely opposed to the idea of having a relationship with yukio while also dating jean but it’s still a little weird and she just kind of avoids the issue until one night yukio tries to kiss her and ororo’s like “um”

she calls jean to hash it out and they talk about it for hours - ororo’s feelings, what they change or don’t change, jean’s feelings, potential consequences. and eventually they reach a point where they’re both comfortable with the idea, and at that point there’s no reason for ororo not to go kiss yukio

and the next time ororo and yukio meet up they talk about it and they do kiss and it’s a beautiful fairytale on the rooftops of tokyo except ororo is going back to the US soon and yukio is staying in japan

(spoilers: they totally visit each other in the future)

things don’t change too much for jean and ororo after that; after a little awkward period they probably actually get more comfortable talking to each other about other crushes they have, and there might be some kissing/sex with other people that goes on but nothing super serious

and when wanda maximoff comes into their lives a year or so later and they realize that they both really like her and that she might like them back it feels so right

wanda and jean have a synergy in coc but it’s the enemies synergy and i am personally offended

jean: oh, that's so romantic...
