Welcome back! So, as for your new game... I remember that you once mentioned that Wally x Millianna is a ship which you love, so how about that?

Thank you so much, Anon-friend! I really appreciate the warm welcome back and the ask. Yes, I absolutely adore Wally x Millianna! Criminally underrated pairing (I don't even know if they have a ship name it's so niche lol😅), so I am thrilled to have the opportunity to make a song recommendation and a headcanon for them! Thank you so much for playing my song + headcanon ask game!

Alright so I may have gone mostly with vibes for this one but I've chosen "Love Me Or Leave Me" (and linked the fabulous cover by Regina Spektor) because it just sounds like the love song of 1920s gangsters and given that Wally wants to be/pretends to be a 1920s gangster and Milianna absolutely, without a doubt has the same level of cheekiness as the singer has in this cover, it just felt like the perfect song for them! Also, I feel like this whole sentiment of only wanting to be with each other is very fitting for them and I can't quite explain why I have this vivid image of Miliana kind of playfully teasing Wally that "there'll be no one unless that someone is you. I intend to be independently blue." And I can absolutely see either of them saying (albeit a bit jokingly probably) "I'd rather be lonely than happy with somebody else." 💖

Related Headcanon:

Wally's love of 1920s gangsters also extends to 1920s jazz music, and he loves putting on jazzy love songs to dance to with Millianna who is a wonderful dancer. Wally isn't much of a dancer, so she has to teach him a little bit, but he is very adventurous and likes to try out all kinds of fancy twirls, spins, and dips which Millianna really loves. When they marry, they love dancing around the house in their pajamas, and when they have children, they invite the kids to dance too!

Fairy Tail Rare Pairs Week 2022

Day 2: Flowers

Milliana stood outside one of the many shops as she tried to find the purrfect gift for Beth’s birthday. She had gone to almost every shop in town and nothing was good enough, deciding she would come back tomorrow, she turned around and started for the guildhall.

“Hey Milliana, long time no see!” Milliana perked up at the familiar voice. A few inches away from her stood two of her childhood friends.

“Wally! Sho! How have you been?” Milliana asked as she ran over to the two and catching them in a hug.

“We’ve been dandy, how ‘bout you?” Wally asked, after being released from the girl’s death grip.

“I’ve been doing great, Mermaid Heel is an amazing guild and I get to see Erza a lot more now,” Milliana answered, leading the two boys to a park bench to sit and talk. Before she knew it the sun had started to set and she had not eaten in a long time.

“Hey, you guys want to go get some food? There’s a restaurant across the street with really good food.” Milliana asked, standing up and stretching out her legs.

“Sounds great, I’ll go get checked in at a hotel and meet you guys there,” Sho said. He had noticed the way the two were talking to each other and decided he would give them a chance to confess to the other. Or at least Wally, it was pretty obvious that he liked Milliana since they were kids and he had just never had the chance to say anything to her.

The walk to the restaurant shouldn’t have taken that long but Milliana had gotten distracted by a little flower shop, not that Wally cared, he enjoyed seeing her smile.

“Wally look, this one kinda looks like a lion!” The feline-obsessed girl said, dragging her friend over to see the plant. Tilting his head Wally tried to see what she was talking about but ultimately gave up and just agreed with her to make her happy.

Unbeknownst to them, Sho had been watching from afar waiting for a confession but never getting one. In the end, they did not go to the restaurant, Wally never confessed, and Milliana bought a bunch of the flowers she had decided to call lion flowers.

Sexuality Headcanon: Demi-sexual Pan

Gender Headcanon: Trans Yukino! Trans Yukino! She started with the Trans Your Gender magic before going into sabertooth and only told Rufus until Jiemma stopped being guild master.

A ship I have with said character: I have given my opinion on Yukinerva before, but I also like Yukino x Lucy cause a duo of celestial mages screams power couple.

A BROTP I have with said character: Yukino and Rufus, they have a little bookclub along with Rogue and like to go out to check new restaurants when they go on missions together.

A NOTP I have with said character: I don't believe I have one- NO WAIT I DO, i think I saw someone once do Captain Arcadios x Yukino and just...why???

A random headcanon: She learned her magic from Karen Lilica when she was younger before she died. Karen was a bitch obviously, and treated her like an assistant but she did know the basics and was a good starting point to learn

A ship I have with said character: Millianna and Kagura are in gay together. I also like the idea of Rogue x Millianna cause i can picture them becoming friends and eventually getting together just cause she can’t stop going to the guild to play with Frosch.

A BROTP I have with said character: Okay hear me out here, imagine Richard/Millianna being good friends. First they become acquaintances cause he wants to reconnect with his brother but she’s the only one that knows what Wally is up to lately, so they meet up to talk about him and exchange anecdotes. Next thing you know, they are having slumber parties and watching silly romcoms with Millianna’s seven cats. 

Also, I think she would get along with Gajeel do to their shared love for felines.

A NOTP I have with said character: Hmmm idk, I guess I’m not a big fan of Erza x Millianna cause to me, they see each other as sisters.

A random headcanon: She volunteers at the local animal shelter cause if she can’t take all the strays kitties then she will find them homes (also the doggies).

General Opinion over said character: She’s a cutie pie and I love her

Jellal Fernandes is a criminal, a murderer, a man wanted by the Governement for multiple crimes, including Federal Treason.

However, it is only known by a few that he was but another victim.

PART 1.               THE SETTING.

     Jellal was extremely young when he was taken away from his family, his village; when his childhood, innocence and FREEDOM was ripped away from him at the same time as everything he’d ever loved and known.

     For many years, he worked as a slave for the Cult who captured him --- their goal was to build a R-System to revive the Dark Wizard Zeref. There, he met other children --- Erza, Sho, Wally, Simon and Millianna as well as the Oracion Seis --- and eventually, him along with the first group came up with an escape plan.

They got caught. Erza was accused of coming up with the escape plan, even if Jellal did try to convince them that it was him. She was taken away for torture ( where she lost her right eye ) and, by attempting to rescue her, he ended up taking her place.

Jellal was tortured, whipped ------ but never gave his captors the satisfaction to see him SCREAM nor CRY.

          “[...] Don’t you understand that building the R-System is a sacred duty?!!”           “The moment this tower is complete, every one of you gets to go to            Heaven!!”           “The R-System will bring our God back to life!!! [...]”           “Shut up, pig!”           “What---?! What did that brat say?!!”

------ But Jellal didn’t believe in God. And a God who allowed such cruelty upon children didn’t deserve to EXIST. 

     Heavens knew for how long he’d been there ( how many HOURS? DAYS? ) at the mercy of these vile men; whipped in an attempt to make him SCREAM and SUBMIT to their ideology. 

     Heavens knew just how much LONGER he’d been working to build that damn tower --- bleeding, mistreated, deprived of freedom and forced to find happiness in the tiniest of things ( his friends, Erza, the stars that were once in a while visible from his cell’s window ); attempting to entertain the faintest SLIVER of HOPE that they’d one day get away from this wretched place. 

--------------- And with their escape plan gone wrong, what hope did he have left?

It was at that moment that Jellal gave up on hope --- and gave into the DESPAIR and the pent-up ANGER he’d cultivated. All of it was freed, because he’d hit his limit; and it overwhelmed him. 

------ He who did not know ( and should have, hadn’t he heard? ) that there was a rebellion going on.      He who, in a tower of children suddenly filled with HOPE, was fleeting with RAGE and HATRED towards the God he was suffering for as well as the LOUSY WORLD he lived in.

--------- he stood out from the rest and proved to be the perfect target for Grimoire Heart.

     Poor little Jellal. Alone, helpless, covered in bruises and in his own blood. Filled with rage towards the Heavens and humanity in its entirety. 

     Poor little Jellal heard a voice. Smoke started to surround him. Zeref showed himself to him. Hatred turned into fear; but the ghost lulled him in a false feeling of security.           ( alarm bells were silenced by the                                                        embrace of darkness and false divinity )

     “Embrace your feelings of darkness, of hatred, and share them with me.”

“There is no freedom in this world.”

     “I shall give you true freedom.”

------------------ And poor, little, broken Jellal Fernandes listened.

                                                 And he let the monster take over.

What are your top 5 Fairy Tail ships? And your top 5 Fairy Tail Brotps/Families?

Aww what a wholesome ask, Anon! Thank you so much!! 🥰 I've decided to split your ask (I hope that's okay?) because just talking about the romantic ships has turned into a fairly long post, and I am still struggling to narrow my favorite Brotp/Found Families down to just 5. 😅 There are just so, so many good ones in that category because platonic relationships was something Fairy Tail did best (in my opinion). I'm working on it though and will hopefully have that list posted within the next couple of days. (Spoilers: The Raijinshuu are Number #1...the rest are TBD 😂). For now, here are my Top 5 Romantic Ships in Fairy Tail. Narrowing it down was relatively easy, but I did struggle with the actual ranking of these so the order might be a little fuzzy... I like/enjoy other ships too, but these are definitely my top favorites!

(Warning: Some Spoilers for Fairy Tail & a few for 100yq even though I haven’t read that one yet 😅)

(1) Gajeel Redfox x Levy McGarden (Gajevy)-- I talked about these two at length here so I'll try not to ramble too, but their relationship was just such an incredible journey. I think it can be really easy to rush an enemies-to-lovers relationship, but what Gajeel and Levy had was really enemies-to-friends-to-lovers and this kind of slow burn in which Gajeel feels genuine remorse for the actions he took in the beginning, seeks Levy's forgiveness and tries to make it up to her for no other reason than that he knows he messed up and knows he owes her an apology and atonement. There is something so genuine in the way that he slowly earns Levy's trust, then they build this really beautiful friendship with each other based on that trust and mutual respect over the course of the series. I think it is really out of that friendship that their romantic love for each other grows and develops, and it is that love that really inspires both of them to become the best versions of themselves. It is an incredibly compelling storyline for them (especially for Gajeel who grew and changed so much over the series) and it was one of my favorite plotlines in the entirety of Fairy Tail. Also, that great banter they had was just *chef's kiss,* and don't even get me started about that confession sequence! It was everything!! I love them so much!!

(2) Jellal Fernandes x Erza Scarlet (Jerza) and Edo!Jellal/Mystogan x Edo!Erza Knightwalker (Mystwalker) -- I've discussed Jerza in the past (here), and while I generally see Edo!Jerza as kind of its own kind of thing, it's definitely tied with Earthland Jerza as one of my absolute favorite ships in Fairy Tail and so I went ahead put them together on this list for clarity. Like Gajevy, Jerza just such a journey, and I love that it was given the chance to actually be a slow burn and that the characters were given the chance to actually grow, change, and develop as individuals before pursuing that relationship with each other so that Jellal's redemption arc isn't cheapened by the romance. Erza is inspiring him to be better, yes, but it's so clear that he is taking these steps to better himself because he wants to not because he wants something from her (i.e. her love or a relationship). Jellal truly wants to be the best version of himself, the man that Erza believes he can be, regardless of whether or not he ever gets to be with her, and that's very selfless and beautiful, I think. On Erza's side, she freely chooses to love Jellal for who he is, not an idealized, fantasy version of him. She knows, possibly better than anyone, that Jellal is a broken and flawed man, but she also chooses to see the good in him and chooses to love him for who he really is. It's really like she's saying to him: "I know you've made mistakes, but you are not the sum of your mistakes, so I choose to love you anyway."

Mystwalker is just fun! We don't know a lot about them, obviously (besides the fact that they're canon of course. Gotta love the little princess!!) I really loved Mystogan as a character in general so I was definitely always hoping for good things for him, and I really loved imagining how his relationship with Erza Knightwalker ended up developing since we didn't really get to see much about how they ultimately got together.

(3) Elfman Strauss x Evergreen (Elfever)-- I have an upcoming bingo ask about them so I don't want to ramble too much, but as I talked about a little bit here already, these two are just that perfect balance between hilarious and adorable. On a certain level they both have such big personalities that are so wildly different from each other that it's almost goofy to think of them actually working out in relationship, but they complement each other so perfectly and have such a strong foundation of trust and mutual respect which I honestly wasn't expecting at first but was wonderful and delightful. I think the story does such a good job of showing us that they protect each other, sacrifice for each other, and want the best for each other, and ultimately they care about each other deeply, even if they don't always show it.

(4) Alzack Connell x Bisca Mulan (Connell) (AlBis) -- Gosh I shipped this one from back in the beginning from Battle of Fairy Tail onward and was rooting for them so much! I quite literally cheered when it was revealed they had gotten married during the time skip, and I was taking screenshots of Asuka and texting them to my sister like a proud grandma! 😂 They're best friends who have true love, a wedding, and a baby! I'm not sure what more there is to say about them than that. It's the ship of dreams, friends! I mean just look at them...

(5) TIE: Erik/Cobra x Kinana (Kinabra) AND Wally Buchanan x Milianna (Do they have a ship name? I don't know, but they should)

I just couldn't decide between them, I'm sorry. I love both of these pairings so much (though they are a little more obscure and out of the box 😅). I swear Erik and Kinana are the most likely couple in Fairy Tail to settle down on a farm and raise a whole hoard of kiddos together, and their entire storyline was just so sweet. I loved to see how Erik's love for Kinana brought out the best in him and my heart just ached when he sacrificed himself/turned himself into the authorities in order to protect her! ��💕

And Millianna and Wally are just such a delightful couple who lights up the screen every time they're together. I loved how supportive and encouraging they were of each other (even of each other's quirks), their strong foundation of friendship, and their absolutely wonderful (and extremely entertaining) banter. That scene where they're having that playful "fight" over whether Natsu is actually a cat or not was honestly one of my favorite moments in the series. We didn't get a lot of them (and I really wish there was so much more of them and their relationship), but they have true love, okay? 😽💖

Why I ship Wallianna (Wally x Millianna)

I'm going to start by saying that I also ship Millianna and Kagura, but my favorite Millianna ship is Wallianna.

As for why I ship them, well it all started with the Tower of Heaven arc and ever since I've been in deep.

My first reason is that in the flashback where Wally tells Sho to be quite, Millianna is said he was being louder and he agrees with her, no trying to defend himself or ignoring her, he straight up says she's right and stops talking.

Reason number two, when they took Erza he stole happy just to give to Millianna and make her happy.

So really it just comes down to the fact that I think he likes her, but I've seen some ships that don't really have any canonical reasons to ship them (and yes I like some of those ships) so I think that this a good enough reason to ship them.
