What would it be like if you were Wally's puppeteer?

I actually have a whole story, start to finish for that scenario! I'll provide the links to the Masterlist that have the parts for it below, alongside some extra little info and just an overview for his behaviors and thoughts! Just a heads up, these Masterlists are a bit chaotic, because I am not well practiced in making them! 😅 Also, the story is pretty old - my first one on here - so idk how well it holds up!

Being Wally Darling's Puppeteer:

TW: Idol Worshipping, Obsessive Behavior, Unintentional Violence (Puppet Man Doesn't Understand how Fragile Humans can be)

As a puppet, Wally isn't necessarily in as much control over you as he would be as a puppeteer. He doesn't mind, though! He doesn't see the need to control you. It's your job to control him. Why would he want to control you?

He always knew he was a puppet, but not necessarily what it meant. To him and his friends, being a puppet was basically the same as being human, just with more stuffing and felt than skin and bone. So, when he got brought to the human world, realizing that every puppet has a puppeteer... someone who controls what they say and do everyday... his mind is blown. His mindset is filled with the idea that making you happy will, in turn, make his already pleasant life perfect! His friends will be even happier, he will be happier, and most importantly, you will be happier!

Then, that desire to make his own life better fades away as everything settles in better. As he watches you, he begins to grow attached to you. Well, more so than a puppet and puppeteer already are. You are his savior! Think about it! Someone who controls what he says and does in his world... What does that sound like to you?

He isn't scared to reveal himself to you. He's your puppet! Why would you be scared if he is walking and talking? You are pals! You have a bond stronger than pals, actually! He wants your attention. He wants your affection. He wants you to be proud of him. He needs it.

He is willing to go to extreme lengths, however, he doesn't understand the consequences of it. As a puppet, he can handle things like... say, a heavy object falling from a high place and hitting his head. That may sound very specific, but as a three foot tall puppet, that's one of the few things he can do. He can also handle things like accidentally stapling himself. Just pull it out! It feels uncomfortable, yes, but no severe injuries! He doesn't understand that humans can't handle it. That humans are harmed by it. He may know that if feels uncomfortable for them and mean to do these things, but he doesn't understand the extent of injury these actions can cause.

So, you may notice some of your coworkers being brought to the hospital for odd injuries. An "incident with the stapler", "a large box of tools fell on their head", "the sewing machine malfunctioned". They never really want to explain what actually happened when they come back, either. They tend to avoid you, too. Wally does feel bad, don't get me wrong! He didn't mean to hurt them that badly... But, depending on the person, he might think they deserved it. Specifically if they were mean to you in the past.

You also get a bucket load of letters, drawings, and paintings on your desk at work, every single day. He has no fear in signing them, either! He'll proudly write his name, mention how much he loves you, and doodle little hearts and smiley faces all over the paper. If he didn't reveal that he is alive at this point in time, you probably think that it is all some sick joke. If he did, you are most likely twice as scared as before.

why hello! many many questions, viewer. i’ll try to answer all of them!

🫙 — i’m working on a small rundown of the AU, but i’ve been focusing on drawing for the most part. however, there will be one eventually, haha!

🫙 — all viewers come in red, (the same color as the light on a recording camera!)

🫙 — wally is not a vampire, although he has had to do some… vampiric things in order to survive after he ran away.

🫙 — wally has many robes! the one sewn by barnaby is simply his favorite.

wally purrs when asleep or content, much like a cat.

wally walks on his toes and walks toe heel, like a dancer.

wally is actually wonderful at singing, but he sings rarely and knows very few songs.

he can hypnotize people when threatened. this is a direct result of the viewers.

he has night terrors regularly.

he worships the viewers and is completely devoted to them. (his idol was made by himself, days before the incident with Home.)

his favorite color is actually a greyish purple.

he likes cherries instead of apples.

Hello tiredly! I was wondering if you could make an Idol!Wally x Reader fic! If you are able, then you can do whatever you like with the story line. I love your creativity and Id love to see more of it! However, I would like the start to go along the lines of "There was a meet and greet being held for Wally because he was on tour. While the reader was walking around, they fell and Wally spotted them!" I think that could be a good start but change it to however you like hun! And remember to take care of yourself hun! Wally Darling, a world wide sweetheart, wanted everywhere and by everyone. Famous was hard, but being famous with multiple careers is even harder; he was a singer, model but most importantly he was an actor, one that was loved by kids and their parents. Which is what led M/n to take his kid to a meet and greet for the prestigious Welcome Home educational tv show, a show made mostly for kids but also adored by adults.

"Slow down Lili! Don't want to hurt your poor and inoccent father now do you?", Asked M/n making Lili, his five year old slow down and bounce in her place to join the line of the meet and greet. So far she has seen Julie, Barnaby, Frank, Eddie, Poppy and Howdy but she has yet to see Wally. M/n asked for the security too look after Lili while he went to the bathroom which the garden accepted with a soft smile when Lili hugged his leg since her feet were hurting.

M/n walks with his head down, thinking until he crashed into someone making him fall on the floor. He groaned, any need to go to the bathroom forgotten, and rubbed his head until he heard a voice.

"Oh my rainbows! I am so, so sorry, I wasn't looking and-," the voice stopped in its tracks and M/n was left speechless when he lifted his gaze to be met with the sight of the one and only Wally Darling. He was prettier up close was the first thought M/n had meanwhile Wally was panicking. He has never talked with a guy that handsome before!

"Don't worry about it, I should have been paying more attention myself," said M/n while chucking softly but Wally could only think about how beautiful his voice was. He extended his had and M/n took it and so Wally lifted him up making M/n be right in front of him, mere inches away from his face.

"Hi," said Wally softly while smiling, he scanned M/n's whole face, taking in every freckle, beauty mark/scar he found finding comfort when his black eyes landed on his (e/c) eyes until his eyes flickered quickly to his lips and then back up to his eyes which made M/n smiles with a soft blush forming in his cheeks.

"Hi," M/n said softly as an answer while staring at Wally's gorgeous eyes. The moment was ruined by Lili screaming fo joy before running up to M/n out of nowhere and hugged his leg before jumping towards Wally which the couple laugh softly.

Teen Au question. Are any of the team musically inclinded?

Nigel: does the sousaphone count...? Doesn't matter, he hasn't touched or heard one since... You know... He's more for the arts.

Hoagie: he was the leading drum player in Middle School and still sometimes plays it (but more of a kit he keeps in his garage). He's pretty skilled!

Kuki: she was taught piano since she was a kid and can still play it, but doesn't like that much. She prefers to sing. She could be an idol!

Wally: FOR NOW he seems very interested in learning guitar. But you know, that boy changes and loses interest quickly so...

Hello here is my very own au Called the Holiday Guardian Welcome Home au or Hgwh au for short here a well beloved puppet show had a Holiday special where all the main puppets had a Holiday theme like wally as santa or eddie as stingy jack after this episode was aired meny kids imaged their idols as the puppets so the Guardians became what they imaged them as.

This au is kinda a Rise of the Guardians meets toilet bound hanako kun but i hope you like them

This is my WH mob au oc she is also M but the thing is I have a lot of lore for this one (who am I kidding there’s so much lore for all of them) but here is her lore

M is Wally’s neice by blood her had an adopted sister when he was young and M was born when both were in there early 20’s and M’s bio dad was a drunk so her mother often was with Wally after the divorce and without her mother’s knowledge Wally taught M how to fight handle weapons things like that and M has always seen Wally as like this big hero her idol so of course she wants to make him proud she tried not to scream when he took her eye (she was 6 at the time) and her mother saw and got pissed and went off on Wally and stormed out of the house but never came home (I think you know what happened to her) and M grew up in the mob most of the member (mainly barnaby) practically had watched her grow up some of them are a tad bit concerned on why is 15 year old is so calm about what her job is (Wally often has her out na about so some members have never met her) and crank especially is like is this child ok? Because they are one of the few family members to see her crack it was only a bit but it still happed she is very (VERY) at her kills she makes it stretch because she’s a teenager who’s angry at life and is just good at masking it so she takes it out on whoever her poor target is

She has this little lamb it’s black (its name is lamby) and this thing goes anywhere and everywhere with her people like to try and tease her about it if it’s any of the family members she lets it slide anyone else feels like there life is at stake
