Hypothetical Pokemon Chronicles 2 episodes and murmurs

Goh and the Symbol of Knowledge! Under recommendation of Professor Cerise, Goh travels to Cerulean City in the Kanto region to study under somebody who’s knowledgeable in various Pokemon. Much to his surprise that somebody turns out to be one of the Kanto Frontier Brains, Noland! What can Goh learn from him when it comes to high intensity battles where you don’t get to choose your own Pokemon? And what’s with that chill in the air?

-Goh meets up with Noland, after all his specialty is battling with numerous different species of Pokemon.

-Probably some lesson to do with Noland and Articuno, about non-caught Pokemon having just as much of a connection as caught ones!

-I think it’d be neat if they had a non-official battle y'know

A Battle Between Contest Royalty!

While May, Max, Serena, and Lisia travel around Hoenn together they have a surprise encounter while signing up for the next big contest: one of the Top Coordinators, Marina, is rumoured to be participating too! Will this be an exciting time to show off their skills, or will their nerves get to them? One thing’s for sure, this will be a contest to write down in history!

-GEN ¾ STYLE CONTESTS. Both battle and appeal sections. -I think May is the one to get to fight Marina in the final round, surpassing Lisia and Serena! May deserves to win <3

-Get to check in with Marina other than a cameo after all these years! See how her Pokemon have trained and see if she has any new team members!

-Have a scene of their companions/friends/rivals from their travels watching on the tv <3 [put Chaz in the anime watching Lisia’s section with Wallace, maybe cameo Brendan too he hasn't been seen since late gen4, idk abt Serena but may has drew Harley and Solidad! Maybe Norman and Caroline cameo. VINCENT AND JIMMY FOR MARINA!!!!!!!]

A Lumiose Mystery! Looker gets reports of a mysterious person stealing other civilian’s Pokemon at night across Lumiose City, deciding to investigate the happenings right outside the Looker Bureau! But just why does his young assistant Emma disappear at night, leaving behind her trusted partner Pokemon around the same time? Are they connected? Just what does this Essentia person have planned? And why does Mimi seem so determined to investigate?

Fight to the finish!

During his travels in the Sinnoh Region, Jimmy has to wait out before the next big tournament battle opens up. He decides to take his time sizing up the competition, little does he know Team Rocket is on the hunt for an elusive Pokemon nearby. Without his travelling companions by his side, he has to get help from some newfound friends to win! Can he, Lucas, and Brendan win against a returning and more powerful Atilla and Hun? Or will they be unable to stop their capture of the legendary Pokemon Enamorus?

-Some of the main characters we’ve seen have their own journeys in the movies and such! Return of Hun and Attila post-Ranger: Manaphy!

A Time Space Conundrum! 

While enjoying some down time, Dawn and Zoey spend some catching up time together… But when a strange crack in the sky forms, can they work together to fight back the Pokemon that seemed to be summoned by the storm? And just what’s with these giant red eyed Pokemon?

-Quilava evolves into a Hisuian Typhlosion

Tracey Sketches It All!

Tracey takes advantage of a much needed vacation, choosing to get a ticket for the Magnet Train to see the sights of Johto! While travelling, just what rare pokemon will he see? Thankfully, he started the journey with an empty sketchbook, so let's see what on the horizon he sets his eyes on!

Paul decides to head to Sinnoh’s Battle Zone to train himself before entertaining the offer of becoming one of Sinnoh’s many Gym Leaders. While lost on his way to the Survival Area he encounters a certain kid and his Pikachu among the mountains of route 225. Can they overcome their differences and make it to the Survival Area in one piece, or will they get turned around… Yet again!?

Getting word of Iris’ rise to the champion title, Georgia takes it upon herself to train her team and challenge Iris to another battle. But this proves one hurdle; Her newly caught Doublade just doesn’t seem to want to evolve! Will some reluctant offered aid from Burgundy help, or is this a lost cause?

eliana was adopted into the jimenez family when she was just a baby. she knows she’s adopted and she’s cool with it. nothing has ever really sparked her interest in wanting to know who her biological parents are, though both of her dads have always been very open to helping her if she ever chose to go down that path.

she is pretty down to earth, a lover of nature, and enjoys traveling. growing up one of eli’s dads worked for american airlines, and so it meant she was able to travel to various parts of the world for free. even if at  times she had to spend the night in airports or be there practically all day, eli loved whenever they would visit a new place. she’s visited many places and if you ask she’s  happy to tell you about it.

during elementary she got bullied pretty badly by the girls in her grade. for some reason they just didn’t like her, regardless how kind eli always was towards them. but despite this, she did have a small group of friends who stuck by her side and helped her through the tough times she faced in school. and she did fight back when it got to be too much but for the most part, no matter what she did,  it really left her anxious about people in general and she silently hated herself over it.

she crossed paths with the person who would grow to become her best friend, better half, and someone very special to her, WC TO BE ADDED. it started with a silly tour around the town which ended with the two of them sharing a pizza on top of the the roof of a random building while talking the night away until the sunrise. suddenly, life seemed like a little more brighter for eliana. 

however, somewhere along the lines, eli lost herself. on the outside she makes it look like everything is put together, like she’s okay, but in reality her world is slowly unraveling around her. she began hanging around a rougher crowd who introduced her to various new things in life, and even though it all seemed so incredible at first, that quickly came at a price. before she knew it she was growing dependent on the way the drugs, how they could just numb everything and make it all feel okay for a little bit, and it’s a habit that she has carried secretly to this day. does she know she needs help? yes. will she seek it out? probably not. with everything going on in life these days, she feels she’s but a speck in the whole thing and she shouldn’t bother anyone, especially her closest friends, over something she feels is her own fault.

for the most part, eli can be found sketching away in various parts of the town while on break or at the beach. she loves her job as a waitress and tries to always have a smile on her face when at work. 

CONNECTIONS

RUSSIAN BLUE there’s one person whom she enjoys spending time with but… she’s not sure she’s able to take the next step with them. although they are forming a close friendship so far.

SCOTTISH FOLD - a roommate! maybe they only see each other at night or the weekends and they are still a bit awkward around each other or maybe they are super tight and have weekly traditions lol or if you’re feeling zesty… maybe they don’t really get along due to a misunderstanding?  for one reason or another these two ended up roomies though.

RAGDOLL  - theatre buds! they go to weekly shows together, constantly quote the movies they love, and maybe even go to karaoke to sing their fave songs from their favorite musicals.

LAVENDER - judgemental glances aside, eliana is a ridiculously good listener so i imagine there might be someone in her life who just goes on full rants while they are with her and even though she acts uninterested she is very much invested in this person’s life lol

PEPPERMINT - she’s a coffee lover. maybe it’s cause the coffee is good or the ambiance is to her taste, or she simply thinks the barista is cute, either way, she goes to this particular spot for her coffee at least once a day and has established a fun little banter between herself and said barista.

Totally Mundane Human AU Wally that I'm itching to properly doodle now, have some thoughts about Wallace the Entertainer:

Voiceclaim: if Genesis P-Orridge was a heavy smoker, because Throbbing Gristle means the world to me

Height/Body type: short for a dude but not where it matters to him, "petite" bone structure, wiry lightly-muscled frame of a stimulant addict

A shock-comedy "performance artist" born in Cheshire, England, Wallace Punch's Variety Act has been described by the few critics brave enough to stomach its entirety as "a one-man pantomime of The Aristocrats"--to paraphrase the sex-shop owner in Se7en, "the sort of guy who pisses in a cup on stage and then drinks it". Lots of prop-based humor and dead baby jokes, once landed himself in the hospital with salmonella after biting the head off a plucked dead chicken, another time was banned from the premises for bleeding all over the place when he pierced his nipples with safety pins. He has a small but dedicated fanbase of edgy groupies and is notorious for being mediocre in the sack whenever he does bed them; while this version of Wally isn't implied to be an outright rapist his incel energy is OFF THE CHARTS and if he starts joking about roofies that unfortunately means he likes you. Surprisingly not a drinker given his hair-trigger temper, Wallace prefers club drugs and is very casual about being hooked on amphetamines, definitely not above buying adderall from teenagers despite being 30-something--very "Hello fellow youths" at whatever party he's crashing.

While not a remotely capable puppeteer, Wallace's favorite prop is an antique, one-of-a-kind ventriloquist dummy that he found for dirt cheap in a Midwestern pawn shop--for whatever reason, the dealer was eager to get rid of it, probably because its lifelike venom-green eyes and chipped red smile are incredibly creepy. The fans love when he hauls out Jude Wood's paint-splattered trunk because that means things are about to get extra vulgar--one legendary show that may still circulate as a grainy recording on weird websites veered into x-rated territory when Wallace, high on ecstasy and having just hit an audience member's meth pipe, used Jude's hand to masturbate to a spectacular finish (and applause). Ever since that performance Wallace has felt an attachment to Jude that surpasses anything he's felt for a possession, animal, and honestly most people--"agalmatophilia" isn't a word in his vocabulary but that's precisely what it is; MDMA is a funny drug. Because he acquired the puppet while on tour across the pond he gives it a "stupid Yank accent" (a raspy, poor approximation of my Jimmy's voice) that he only seems to be able to do when he's actually holding Jude; regardless of in-universe gags if I ever actually write something terrible with this man, Jude is a completely inanimate object* being subjected to one-sided conversations and Wallace should probably lay off the ketamine (which he regularly stores inside of Jude, along with other drug paraphernalia, a skin mag and a balisong).

Being Mundane Human AU, while a transgressive, ornery, destructive, nasty bastard, Wallace Punch is not a murderer, doesn't pose any particular threat to animals (outside of yelling at his flatmate's dog Jamesy whenever it gets in his room) and will actually take "no" for an answer (which happens a lot). Other than the Obligatory Puppetfuckery and likely exhibitionism (as is the case with everyone who pursues fame) I'm not sure what he's into, nothing illegal or deadly though. In another departure from the usual bullshit he doesn't have any body-image issues or particularly weird ideas about gender roles, you know, beyond typical male misogyny--sometimes he wants to wear a fuckin dress because it's cute, doesn't make him anything other than a dude in a dress. He also has shitty stick-n-poke tattoos and self-done piercings but I haven't decided what those are yet.

Is this just an excuse to explore an explicitly British and extra-pathetic version of Wallace? Probably.

* Although. Wouldn't It Be Funny If this actually takes place in the same Unfamiliar timeline where Jimmy ends up besting Slappy, who goes permanently dormant after he dies as intended, and Wallace Punch really is Mr Wood reincarnated as a human with no memories of his past life, forever fated to seek out the custom-built partner unable to return his affections. That's such an unnecessary tangle in the narrative lemniscate. How fitting for a hagfish. Sure why not.

Na NBA, o mais perto foram casos como o do Boston: depois da franquia estar perdendo por 3 a 0, ela empata a série, mas não consegue concretizar a vitória. Imagine a frustração! Morrer na praia depois de uma recuperação incrível. O Celtics se tornou a quarta franquia da história a passar por tal situação. Você sabe quais foram as outras?

No caso mais recente, ocorrido em 2003, Dallas Mavericks e Portland Trail Blazers se encontraram no primeiro round dos playoffs e o time favorito se impôs rapidamente. A dupla Nowitzki e Nash dominou as três primeiras partidas, com destaque pro ala-pivô alemão, que teve média de 37 pontos nesses três confrontos. Mas aquele time do Portland, que ficou “carinhosamente” conhecido como Jail Blazers, em referência aos seus muitos integrantes que tiveram passagens pela polícia, não se rendeu facilmente. Com grandes aparições de Rasheed Wallace, Damon Stoudamire e Zach Randolph a equipe empatou a série em 3 a 3, mas acabou subjugada no sétimo confronto, no que marcou o fim da era dos Jail Blazers em Portland.

Em 1994, nas semi-finais de conferência, Denver Nuggets e Utah Jazz se encontraram e a equipe de Utah quase varreu o time de Denver. Depois de abrir 3 a 0 na série, a equipe perdeu o jogo 4 por um ponto. O Denver respirou aliviado por não ter sido varrido, mas foi além: pegou impulso e venceu três partidas seguidas, com grandes aparições de Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, Reggie Williams, Laphonso Ellis e Dikembe Mutombo, que teve média de mais de 5 tocos por partida na série. Mas não teve jeito, no fim, a lendária dupla Karl Malone e John Stockton prevaleceu no jogo 7.

O primeiro caso da história no qual ocorreu um empate depois de um 3 a 0 foi também o mais dramático porque, imagine você, ele aconteceu nas finais. E aconteceu justamente com o time do New York Knicks! Sim, o sofrimento do torcedor de Nova Iorque é tão antigo quanto a própria liga. As finais de 1951, há 72 anos, foram entre Knicks e Rochester Royals. O time de Rochester abriu 3 a 0, a equipe de Nova Iorque empatou e chegou muito perto de concretizar o sonho da virada, perdendo a última partida por apenas quatro pontos. Os Royals acabaram conquistando o título, que permanece sendo o único da história da franquia, que hoje em dia se chama Sacramento Kings.

De todos esses casos, é interessante notar que o time de melhor campanha na temporada regular sempre foi o que abriu 3 a 0, cedeu o empate e acabou concretizando a vitória no fim. A única equipe de pior campanha na temporada regular a ter passado por essa mesma situação foi o Miami Heat deste ano, que também se tornou o segundo oitavo colocado a chegar numa final de NBA na história (o outro foi o Knicks em 1999).

Estamos acompanhando uma campanha realmente histórica do Heat, que saiu do play-in para estar quase chegando lá. Agora, a batalha de Jimmy Butler e sua turma também será a mais difícil de todas: a batalha contra morrer na praia.
