Ever since Covid-19, I needed a new outlet. I turned to writing when Nerf Wars and modding became a dying hobby. Given my obsession with The Walking Dead, I discovered discord roleplaying and created original characters to roleplay based on characters I originally created to be part of a book. One of these characters is Axel Escobar. I can now proudly and confidently reveal this character after years of revision and redrafting.

Axel is easily one of my popular OCs, enough that he's even a main character for one particular server. I made this character sheet for him through Google Docs, and if you are interested, you can find the layout in my blog. It's ironic about my writing journey, considering English was never my favorite subject, now I can't imagine a day without it. I hope by posting this reveal that you get inspired to make your own template and character like I have.

request: could you like make something like the morning after their first time reader is like super flirty and won't stop teasing him and shit in front of everyone and carl is so flustered like 'shut up :0'. I've had this idea for days but im a shit writer so....

the porcelain cup rims your lips as the coffee threatens to spill out any moment, dizzy as you stare at him with such adoration while images of last night flash in your mind

you finally sealed the deal. and it was perfect.

he held your hand the entire time, whispered such sweet things, and now you're staring for way too long.

your throat aches a side cough and is soothed by the hot coffee your pour down it as he leans onto the counter, thank goodness your gawking didn't interrupt the conversation between him and his father, or else you might have died from embarrassment.

"why don't we go today?" carl perks up, and his father lets out an airy laugh

"We can't just go, we need to plan out spots first..see which ones 'been used already" he gruffs, dismissing his son as he moves to grab coffee

you move over to him, placing your cup down as he silently mopes about the lack of plans for the run he wanted to go on so badly.

you reach up and twirl one of your fingers with his locks, much like you did last night as you purse your lips together in thought

"why do you want to go out so badly? shouldn't you rest?" the question having obvious undertones but Rick doesn't pay any mind to it

"i-i..because we're running low on stuff..." he stutters out, your flirting catching him off guard

"mm.." "sure it isn't 'cuz you wanna drive the car into a ditch?" you joke, spinning around in time to catch Rick choking on his coffee, but you aren't referencing his horrible driving, you're talking about the time you guys almost had sex on a run.

"I-i..shut up..." you see his face deepen as the memory comes back in full force

"don't say 'shut up'" Rick scolds but you know you deserve it with how you're teasing him, picking up your coffee you wink at the boy before walking back up to your room.

I have to admit, I was very hesitant to post a Walking Dead OC out here on tumblr. But, I was tired of being nervous about it. This is one of my favorite characters to write and roleplay as in post apocalypse genre, and I finally chose to share it. Axel Escobar was a character that just came to me after years of constant improvement and a lucky find for the face claim. In a sense, I almost felt it was meant to be.

Plot idea For Negan: Negan will reunite with my oc in the apocalypse after not seeing each other in years. The last time they saw each other was when he found out Lucille had cancer. They we best friend my oc age would be in her early to mid twenty before the apocalypse making her in her mid to late 30s.

Negan and My oc are best friends because he saved her from living on the streets after she ran away from her abusive parents' house, and he lived with him and his wife, and they got pretty close. Also, negan saved her from being killed by her abusive ex, who found her broke into a Negan's house and held raven up against the wall by her throat choking her out. That's when Raven really started falling for Negan.

Plot idea for Daryl: Daryl will reunite with my oc in the apocalypse after not seeing each other for years. The last time was before she ran away from home from her abusive parents. They were the best of friends. They saved each other from their abusive parents.

They aren't together yet they were never together they were best friends but they have feelings for each other they just never told each other. While they were teenagers, they would date other people thinking the other didn't have feeling for one another. It went so far as to where Daryl took his dates to their getaway lakehouse that they use to get away from their abusive parents and when Raven saw and found out about him taking girls to their lakehouse she was heartbroken and stop talking to him and she also runaway from him not saying anything. That's when the apocalypse started.
