Ohh this is from back when the first ova Hoshi Matsu Hito aired. Was that… 7 or 8 years ago? Damnnn that’s a long time ago.

Actually, I first saw the poster on MAL while mindlessly scrolling through upcoming seasonal anime. Elias on the poster really caught my eye bc it’s rare to see a character with a skull head like his especially as a male lead, his overall design was so unique for me. After seeing the poster and watching the pv, I RAN searched for the manga and fell in love with it immediately.

Watching the first ova was mind blowing especially since it was from Studio Wit with magnificent animation. I remember re-reading every chapter while waiting for the full series to come out... Ohh also I love Macross Delta so knowing Junna was singing the opening made me love the series even more! Here by Junna is just so iconic.

Mahoyome is easily my top anime of all time it's my comfort show. I remember when I failed my uni entrance exam, Mahoyome was the first thing I turned to for comfort and it really helped me forget the sadness. Even after all this time Mahoyome continues to hold a special place in my heart and I’m so glad I’m not the only one who loves this series dearly 🫂💞

about this time of year, 6 years ago, an english cover of 'here' popped up in my Spotify discover weekly. I listened to it for months before finally looking into where it came from.

I watched the anime in-between classes and finished it in 2 days. I finished the manga (at the time) within the week.
