I'm so excited to be married to my partner like so thrilled to spend the rest of my life with him 100% on board cannot wait

but the idea of being a Wife still makes me 🤢

and it's obviously definitely the historical sociopolitical context of the word itself that gives me the ick. people who meet me and learn I'm a Wife will have all these ideas of what that means and apply them to me consciously or not and I don't WANT that. but it's gonna happen and I cannot prevent it.
