#wait is Yata now the Disney princess

I keep wondering about an AU that i created in my head that the truth about Misaki's father doesn't appear is because he is a strain that have crow wings and is able to understand what birds say so in a normal night they go out to a restaurant but they get assaulted so he tells his wife to go while he holds him off but he gets shot and dies so when the police finds the corpse they recognize the person and find out he is a strain so in an act to protect their son his mom leaves the city to make a new life with her son so she tries to hide from the scepter 4 and then some years later the scepter 4 starts to search for the family of strain that died and the power that he inherit from his father starts manifesting but i don't know if i write some fanfic about it what do you you think

This reminds me of those AU asks I've gotten where Yata's dad is Kagutsu, maybe say in this version his dad is a Strain who was like working for Purgatory before he met his wife and that's why he ends up dead. Like Yata's dad got a mix of tengu/Disney princess Strain so he can both grow wings and talk to birds. The wings he can like retract for at least a small amount of time so that he can pretend to be 'normal' but say it's difficult for him and he prefers to allow his wings to be seen freely. When he first became a Strain the old Scepter 4 tried to talk with him and he got worried, not being able to get a job due to being a Strain he ends up falling in with Purgatory. He begins doing like all this crime and causing trouble, but then one day Yata's mom is like coming home from her job and she sees him with his wings. He's worried that she'll scream but instead she just thinks he looks like a superhero, Yata's dad ends up talking to her more and eventually they fall in love and have a kid. Yata's dad is worried that maybe Yata will have wings too but he seems to be a totally normal baby.

Now that he has a family Yata's dad wants to leave Purgatory but of course they won't let him go so easily. He's at a restaurant one day with Yata's mom when some Purgatory guys walk in, Yata's dad tells his wife to run and tries to hold them off, Yata's mom escapes but his dad is killed. Scepter 4 gets called in to collect the body and they recognize that he was the Strain they've been looking for. Maybe Scepter 4 thinks Yata's dad might have had some information that could help them get the upper hand on Kagutsu so they try to track down his wife. All Yata's mom knows about Scepter 4 is that her husband told her never to talk to them and she worries that they're some bad corrupt police force or something so she decides to take her kid and leave Shizume to start a new life. Eventually she remarries and returns to the city figuring that now that she and her son have a new last name they won't be recognized and everything will be fine.

Yata has no idea about any of this but say he starts feeling these pains in his back one day and he doesn't know what's wrong. He also feels like maybe he's getting sick because he thought he heard the crows in front of his apartment arguing this morning and he actually understood them, he must have a fever. As he's alone in his apartment imagine his back starts hurting worse and worse and suddenly these crow wings just pop out. Yata's initially freaked but once he gets over being suddenly a Strain he'd probably think it's cool (and imagine him like jumping out a window all 'I bet I can fly!' and dropping like a stone because flying requires a little practice). Yata doesn't know how to hide his wings so he ends up tossing on a big coat even though it's spring and carefully makes his way to Homra, where everyone's shocked to see what's happened to him. Yata asks Kusanagi if he thinks that Yata got hit by some Strain power or something and Kusanagi says he'll check with his contacts to see if any Strain with this sort of power is active right now.

At the same time say there's been like some activity from this other old criminal Strain who used to work with Purgatory, Scepter 4 has been doing research into him and they find out about this other Strain who was associated with him and died years ago, a guy with crow wings. Maybe Yata's dad like stole something valuable from the Gold clan before dying, like some kind of strong power amplifier and this other Strain is looking for it. Scepter 4 needs to find it first but they need to figure out if the dead Strain had any associates or family who could have information on the missing item. That's when Fushimi gets some intel about a Strain with crow wings who's hanging around Bar Homra and decides to go investigate (and at the same time the other criminal Strain hears this rumor too and suddenly everyone wants to talk to Yata and meanwhile Yata is just innocently attempting to jump out of the bar's second floor window because if he has wings then dammit he is going to learn to fly).

Wammy boys and Light at Disney World?

I’ve been waiting for this one!! Turn it up!!

L 

-Literally had to drag him onto the plane with Watari’s help

-He wanted to stay indoors and he complained about the dangers and possible sicknesses and yata yata the entire plane ride. Good thing he got you those background noise cancelling headphones though! Now only Watari has to deal with L’s complaining. 

- “They’re staring at me” is gonna be a common phrase 

-Prefers Epcot to any other land tbh

-While you guys go on that ride that talks about different cultures and stuff, he’s going to point out the wrong facts and ask to see the corporate manager about fixing it. You have to threaten him to get him to stop 

-During the soarin’ ride, he has an internal panic attack and is holding onto you the whole entire time. Mans really thinks he’s going to drop. 

-He doesn’t really like Magic Kingdom. There’s no knowledge, only fairytales. 

-Will not ever go on scary rides unless you convince him to but it takes at least an hour. When he looked up the Tower of Terror and saw what happened, he left the park and didn’t return the whole day

-You went for 3 days 

Near

-Poor baby just wants to play in the Magic Kingdom. 

-He drags you to meet all of the princesses and characters around the town. 

-His last interest is the rides. He gets anxious because of the crowd but to make it better he holds your hand. 

-He will pout if you want to take him to a different park. You decided to go to Magic Kingdom and near almost fangirled himself when he saw the animals. Of course, he was upset about them being caged but he loved seeing something in real life and not online. 

-Honestly, even though he didn’t want to go before, he’s really happy that you took him. He paid for everything and just wanted to see you smile. Even though you didn’t go on any rides really, you had a great time shopping with him.

-You went for 5 days 

Mello and Matt

-Yeah, there’s no way they won’t go together

-If both of them have a s/o, you two are going to have a hard time keeping up with the boys because they’re going to be running from ride to ride to the food stands back to the rides all day

-Don’t worry, they’re going to pay for everything. Don’t ask how they got the money, okay?

-They’re going to take you guys to all of the fanciest restaurants and for once actually dress up nice

-in Magic Kingdom, you can’t get them away from Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and the Mine Train

-interestingly enough, though, they both loved The Little Mermaid ride so much 

-In Hollywood Studios the ride you’ll do with them the most is Tower of Terror 

-They will occasionally go on Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and they LOVE Rockin’ Roller Coaster

-They’ll forget to eat, and won’t want to, so you and the other’s S/O will have to have half of a girl’s day, shopping and eating. Mello and Matt just offered you their wallets and let you go 

-In Animal Kingdom, they loved Expedition Everest 

-In Epcot, they wouldn’t get off of test track

-You guys went for 12 days 

Light

-He just wanted to make you happy 

-He didn’t have unlimited amounts of money, but he paid for what he could

-He went on any rides that you wanted to go on

-Misa wanted to come and she almost did, but Light promised he would get her a present if she left you alone, and somehow she agreed 

-Surprisingly, on Tower of Terror he almost cried. It was scarier than he wanted it to be

-You and him went out to dinner every night, and breakfast every morning

-He killed anyone who made you upset, but didn’t tell you until you guys got back because he wanted you to have fun

-You guys went for 6 days

“I DARED TO DREAM” to be in this concert

It’s been 4 days already yet I still can’t believe everything that happened last Tuesday and Wednesday. After the “Lea Salonga: Songs From the Stage” concert last Feb 17 & 18, another Lea concert was announced in partnership with Globe Telecom and Walt Disney PH – I Dare To Dream. Apparently, there’s a digital reality series featuring six young girls with big dreams competing to be chosen as the PH’s reprsentative to Tokyo, Japan for the International screening of Beauty and the Beast and Lea Salonga’s the Guest Mentor who’ll choose as well the Grand Winner. The Grand Finals was set March 22, 2017 at SM Mall of Asia Arena.

I was actually undecided whether I’ll attend  this show or not. Another Lea concert was as recently announced too and I just bought ticket for it. (Lea Salonga w/ BYU Chamber Orchestra, May30. For tickets, visit Ticketworld.com) Also, it was held in MOA Arena where there’s almost 0% chance of saying “hi” or even seeing her upclose. Aaaaaand tickets were quiet pricey too.

I wasn’t really thinking much about it until few days before the concert. I checked out TicketNet everyday until the seats I was aiming were gone. Everything changed though come Tuesday morning. I usually work from home every Tuesday so I kind-of woke up a little later than usual. At around 10am, I scrolled through my Twitter feed and checked out tweets for Lea (Fangirl hobbies. HAHAHA!) and there I saw this 12hr old tweet from @enjoyGlobe -Instantly I was like “Maka-sagot nga. Wouldn’t hurt to try.” and so I did. Ofcourse, I answered Lea Salonga, the sole reason I wanna see the concert. I wasn’t really expecting anything since there are alot of artists in the show and that means a lot more fans to compete with too. Also, if I won’t be able to accept to miss the show, I still have time and there are still tickets to buy. But mostly I was looking for a sign.

My day went by on a slow-pace after. I read and sent tons of  work e-mails throughout the day until I had a late afternoon break where I found out that the concert’s already sold out. Sigh. Globe’s now my only chance. I also already started conditioning myself that I’ll miss the concert. Until after dinner, while I was taking photos of my Fun Home MNL programmes, I received a tweet reply from Globe asking me to follow them so they could DM me. “Pota mananalo pa yata ako!” is what I instantly uttered upon reading it. ‘Cause why the hell are they going to DM me? Afterall, I am a Smart postpaid subscriber. So I followed them and few minutes later, I received a DM from them saying I won 4 tickets to Globe’s I Dare To Dream concert! Swear! I couldn’t believe it. It was just a careless shot I took. I was really surprised and hell, it was the sign I’ve been looking for! I then messaged my workmate if she wants to come with me since it’s a Wednesday night, I thought it would be easier to invite people from the South.

Fast forward to the Wednesday, I ended up with a confirmation from Kath who was coming from Banawe, QC and my sister, Ara who was from UP Diliman. I left work early to claim the tickets. I thought the surprise were over, because when I checked out the tickets it was Lower Box 217, the seats I was aiming days before. Grabe talagaaaaa! I was really so happy and kilig. The show was really for meant for me.

I waited for the girls to arrived as I killed my time strolling inside the mall. When my legs and feet started to complain, I bought freshly squeezed lemon juice and sat in one of the benches provided by the mall. It was there I remembered my childhood friend Pinky who lives and works in Makati. Sayang din naman kasi yung isang ticket ‘di ba. I sent her a message and luckily she’s free and will be out from work on time. We then agreed she’ll just meet us at the arena.

Fast forward again to the show now, Kath and Pinky made it on time while Ara got stuck in traffic on her way to the arena. There were lots of people and kids in their Disney Princess costumes. We made it to our seats and get ourselves settled when we realized our seats were really close to the stage. The show started roughly around 8:30pm and Ara arrived just after the first prod number. I have her ticket so I literally ran to get her and ran back to our seats. Just as we’re both catching our breathe, Lea came out alonh with Hya, who aspires to be a Broadway singer/actress. Talk about being right on time! Phew! The girls then came out one by one showcasing their talents and dreams.

Spread out through the young girls’ production, were performances from the other guest artists of the show. Aicelle Santos did Roar, Julie Ann San Jose sang How Far I’ll Go, Christian and KC and Morisette sang songs from Beauty and the Beast and Lea with Christian Bautista as her Aladdin sang “A Whole New World”. It wasn’t my first time hearing her sing this live but swear, my late bloomer Disney heart was experiencing PVCs during this production. It was just so magical and I really felt being on a magic carpet. Lea nailed it like it was 1992.

After all the young girls were presented, Lea then came out in a royal blue gown where she later on exclaimed “I feel like Pia Wurtzbach in this gown” eliciting laughter from the audience. She then called the 6 girls to join her on stage as she was going to announce the winner. Few pieces of advice were given before the announcement which I’ll summarize to “Keep on dreaming!” Then quiet unexpectedly, atleasy for me, all 6 girls where declared a winners which means all 6 of them are going to Japan! Yay! The show ended with everyone singing “When You Wish Upon a Star” led by the real life Disney Princess, Lea Salonga.

Once again, thank you very much Globe for giving me the sign and choosing me to get on this magic carpet. My late – bloomer Disney heart was really overjoyed. Thank you! Thank you!

Misaki as Melody from The Little Mermaid 2?He felt like he fit in with palace life or on land and was always called to the adventure of the sea and eventually finds out he’s half-mermaid. He meets Sea Witch Niki who gives him a tail and sends Misaki and his reluctant grumpy son who is probably forced to do his bidding for magic reasons to retrieve King Mikoto’s Trident in trade for his tail. (Actual Disney Princess Misaki for once)

Niki as the perfect asshole sea warlock who probably like grants wishes for people in the most horrible monkey’s paw way and then transforms them into kelp when they can’t pay his fees (wait how can he set things on fire when he’s underwater). So say Yata’s really half mermaid but doesn’t know about it, like his dad Kagutsu used to be a merman but fell in love with a human woman and was turned into a human, after they married though he was unable to pay the price to stay human and ended up being turned into like a tiny fish and eaten. Yata never knew about his dad and his mom always had a grudge against the sea, she never knew her husband was a merman and always thought he drowned which made her very wary about letting any of her kids anywhere near water. Yata however always found the sea fascinating and he always wanted to go down to the beach and have adventures.

Meanwhile as it happens sea warlock Niki likes to keep an eye on all parts of the ocean as he thinks of ways to steal Sea King Mikoto’s trident so he can like take over the ocean and make everything suck. He spots Yata sneaking into the ocean for a swim one day and recognizes the kid as Kagutsu’s son, which gives him a terrible awful idea. He decides to send his kid up to retrieve Yata, Fushimi doesn’t really want to do this but he knows if he refuses Niki will just torment him until he gives in. So Fushimi swims up to the ocean and maybe there’s like a storm going on just as Yata happens to steal a small boat and is trying to paddle out into the ocean. The rough waves cause the boat to overturn and Yata falls into the water, he can’t swim and nearly drowns until Fushimi swims up and rescues him, carrying him back to shore. Yata’s all shocked and amazed at seeing a real live mermaid, Fushimi just clicks his tongue and wonders how Yata’s never seen one when he’s part mermaid himself. Yata can’t believe that his dad was actually a merman and he doesn’t understand why his mom never told him. Fushimi acts like it’s none of his business and tries to leave but Yata stops him, wanting to meet Fushimi again. Fushimi agrees to meet Yata again the next evening as is part of Niki’s plan and swims off, wondering why he feels so sick to his stomach suddenly.

So then for the next few days Yata and Fushimi meet at the shore and Yata’s asking Fushimi all these questions about being a merman and what it’s like and he thinks Fushimi’s really cool. Fushimi initially thinks Yata’s just annoying and he’s only doing this because Niki’s making him but no one’s ever shown this much interest in him and part of him is becoming attached to Yata despite himself. When Yata finally asks if there’s any way he can become a merman too Fushimi wants to say no but Niki’s been like spying on them magically and uses this moment to like ‘tug’ on Fushimi with magic to remind him who he’s working for. Fushimi has no choice but to take Yata to his asshole dad and Niki offers to turn Yata into a merman in exchange for a little errand. Niki explains that the terrible evil Sea King Mikoto stole Niki’s magic trident and he could use some help getting it back, Yata being a justice-minded kid agrees. Niki turns Yata into a merman and sends Yata off to find Mikoto with Fushimi accompanying him, planning on spying on Yata through Fushimi and using this as his chance to actually get a spy into the royal court.

Yata and Fushimi discuss how they’re going to get to see Mikoto and maybe what happens is like Niki sends some sharks to attack Mikoto’s Homra castle just as Yata and Fushimi are swimming nearby, the two of them help repel the invaders and maybe inadvertently rescue Mikoto’s attendant Totsuka. Totsuka brings the kids to meet Mikoto and Yata’s immediately all in awe of this grand powerful merman. He and Fushimi have promised to steal the trident though and Yata starts to become torn, he feels like Mikoto’s really a good guy who wouldn’t steal but he also promised Niki and he wants to stay as a merman. Fushimi meanwhile is all suffering too because he and Yata are getting closer and closer but he’s also well aware that Niki’s been lying to Yata and that even now Niki’s spying on them and that Fushimi is basically the fox in the hen house and no one knows it and he feels like if Yata finds out the truth then Yata will hate him.

Post ROK scenario when Misaki and saru adopt kittens! And the kittens gets super attached to misaki, saru gets jealous over it🐱

I think I’ve read this doujinshi XD So Fushimi of course is notthrilled about the kittens, he’s got allergies and anyway he doesn’tlike animals much and thinks they’ll be too much of a hassle. Maybeshortly after he and Yata move in together Yata finds like a box withlike four kittens inside all tiny and abandoned and of course Yatacan’t resist saving them and bringing them home despite Fushimi’sobjections. The kittens are all skinny and a bit sickly, like maybethey’re even too young to be away from their mother and Yata’s allworried trying to see if he has enough extra cash to pay for a vet,Fushimi just sighs and tells Yata to come on, he called Scepter 4 toborrow a van and he’ll pay for the vet. The vet looks over thekittens and gives Yata and Fushimi strict instructions as to how tocare for them, Yata’s determined to do this rather than giving themaway because he’s already attached and has named half of them afterHomra-related things, much to Fushimi’s annoyance (I know in that onedoujinshi they named the cats after each other but imagine themnaming the cats after members of their respective clans instead, likethat sandy blond one keeps trying to play with everyone and beingcheerful so its name is Totsuka and that red one is always sleepingso it’s Mikoto, this tiny black one is always gentle but thensometimes claws people so Fushimi starts calling it Akiyama and thatother orange one is hyperactive and a little dim so it’s Doumyouji).Fushimi claims that Yata has to take care of the kittens all byhimself but Yata catches him a few times awake in the middle of thenight gently feeding the kittens with an eyedropper.

So soon the kittens have gotten old enough that they can fend forthemselves a bit, Fushimi wants to get rid of at least some of thembut Yata’s totally attached by now and even Fushimi’s cold blackheart isn’t strong enough to stand up against four kittens and a sadMisaki. But soon Fushimi begins to notice that not only is Yataattached to the kittens but the kittens are really attached to him,always wanting his attention and cuddles and playing with. Andbecause there’s four of them even when one kitten gets tired there’salways another one there, to the point Fushimi feels like he neversees Yata without a cat in his hands. I can imagine this being like adouble jealousy on Fushimi’s part too, he’s annoyed that Yata’spaying more attention to the kittens than to him but he’s alsosecretly a little dejected that none of the kittens seem terriblyattached to him (and imagine he tales this irritation to work, likeAkiyama doesn’t understand why Fushimi-san snapped at him for‘sleeping on Yata’s stomach all the time,’ like he’s never evenreally talked to Yata. Later Doumyouji is given extra paperwork whileFushimi complains about him licking Yata’s face).

Eventually I think Yata would notice that Fushimi’s in a worse moodthan normal and would confront him about it, like they’ve promised totalk these things out from now on and he wants to know why Fushimi’sin such an awful mood and ignoring him all the time. Fushimi muttersthat isn’t Yata the one who’s too busy, as one of the kittens wandersover demanding love. Yata’s all confused but at some point he managesto figure out that Fushimi’s jealous of the kittens and he just getsthis fondly exasperated look as he says that if Fushimi wanted themto spend more time without the cats then just say so idiot.Fushimi clicks his tongue, not answering, and Yata leans over to hughim as he calls Fushimi an idiot, like do you really think I’d choosecats over you. Fushimi tries to act like he totally didn’t think that(even though he did) and mumbles that the cats hate him anyway. Yatapoints out that if Fushimi would stop ignoring them and keeping awayfrom them the cats would love him. To prove his point Yata grabs oneand sets it in Fushimi’s lap, Fushimi freezes and Yata leans againsthim as he encourages Fushimi to pet the cat. (And then Fushimi doesand slowly warms up to the cats except now Yata’s the onegetting a little jealous because of course the kittens are naturallydrawn to Disney Princess Fushimi and suddenly Yata’s like wait why dothey all like him more than me.)
