I don't think people take into account how ridiculous 'airplane' sounds to others who are unaware of the term especially if they're not familiar with modern language

'Airplane' is pronounced 'fei ji' in chinese and has exactly the same pinyin as 'flying chicken' which again in chinese is pronounced 'fei ji' the only difference here is the character used to write them.

With that being said I can't see how the others (especially mbj and peak lords) won't look at sqq weird when he starts calling sqh a flying chicken out of nowhere

(But they probably won't look too deeply into it anyways because flying chicken does personify him really well)
