Analysis
With her draconic power unrestrained Fallen F!Corrin becomes a true force to be reckoned with. Her incredibly high BST and stat ceilings make her a versatile unit that can not only take a significant punch but dish out immense damage herself as well.
F!F!Corrin’s Savage Breath further complements her high stats as it grants her huge boosts to all her stats increasing as the number of allies near her decreases. At neutral and with no allies within 2 spaces, Savage Breath puts F!F!Corrin at a statline of 60/43/37/33 unsupported. Her default Atk/Spd Solo further increases her Atk and Spd by +6. Savage Breath’s condition encourages an aggressive playstyle, throwing F!F!Corrin into the thick of battle alone. However, with the right build and support, F!F!Corrin can easily take the heat.
Dancers/refreshers or units with Smite make great support units for her as they can allow her to cross a greater distance away from her team in one turn. Namely, Mordecai: Kindhearted Tiger is the perfect ally for F!F!Corrin. With Sabertooth Fang, Smite, Atk/Def Link, and Spd and Res Tactic, Mordecai can not only single-handedly grant full +6 buffs to F!F!Corrin but also debuff nearby enemies at her landing point after being smitten. This essentially creates a +10 gap between F!F!Corrin’s stats and her opponents on top of Savage Breath’s bonus, allowing her to wreak havoc on the battlefield while taking minimal damage with absurdly high offenses and defenses. Azura: Vallite Songstress (Legendary Azura) fills a similar role, being the only unit that can increase infantry movement.
Because of F!F!Corrin’s versatility, she favors no boons/assets in particular aside from HP. Her optimal IVs will depend mostly on the chosen build.

Builds
Budget/Low Investment
With Corrin’s well-rounded stats and access to breaths she can run a wide variety of different skills and builds to play to different strengths or playstyles. Don’t be afraid to experiment as she can make good use of nearly anything you give her.
The example build on the left keeps Corrin’s default Atk/Spd Solo as it stacks well with Savage Breath’s effect, ideally giving her +12 Atk/Spd on initiation. The conditions for these skills are most easily met in the player phase, so giving her Desperation as well allows her to tear through bulkier units that she can’t kill in one hit alone. Pairing Heavy Blade and Glimmer allows her to fully charge and activate Glimmer every time she initiates with Desperation, heavily increasing her damage output.
The build on the right is geared more towards her balanced offense and defense, using Fury to grant raw stats all around. Fury’s recoil damage can compromise her ability to stay standing, so using Vantage opens up the opportunity to OHKO opponents and thus avoid taking more hits than she would like. With all effects fully active, this build puts her at a whopping 70 Atk in addition to 46/47/43 Spd/Def/Res. Her special can be swapped for Glimmer for more frequent special procs or Noontime/Sol for sustainability.
Corrin’s other Sacred Seal options include Smoke skills, Flashing Blade, Quick Riposte, Stance skills, Darting Blow, Brazen skills, Close Def, and buff skills. Corrin may find it particularly difficult to make the most of buff skills since she will often want to be off on her own, separate from her allies.
Distant Counter Enemy/Mixed Phase
With her dragon typing and incredible stats Corrin makes an excellent Distant Counter user. She’ll make quick work of her foes and tear down any enemies that initiate on her.
The first build uses Null C-Disrupt to further narrow the amount of units that can attack her without risk, namely Dazzling Staff or Firesweep weapon users. Quick Riposte grants her a failsafe if she fails to naturally double and allows her to take a Spd bane with little regret. Because Corrin already has plenty of Atk, using Sol over an offensive special allows her to stand against hordes of enemies even more confidently by being able to replenish her HP, especially as it may bring her back above Quick Riposte’s HP threshold. If Dazzling/Firesweep threats aren’t much of a concern, Null C-Disrupt can be replaced with Quick Riposte to open up her Sacred Seal slot or with other powerful enemy/mixed phase B Skills, such as Wrath. Atk Smoke’s AoE debuff will allow her to take even more hits.
The second build uses Aether and cooldown acceleration to increase both her damage output and sustainability without losing consistency. Once Aether has been activated once it will essentially be on a cooldown of 3 from that point on. She can then activate it in every round of combat by taking one hit, counterattacking with Heavy Blade to fully charge Aether, then proc Aether on her follow-up attack. However, without Quick Riposte, this build will rely on Corrin’s natural ability to double through her Spd.
The last two builds use Lightning Breath+ instead of Savage Breath to free up her A Slot and allow for more traditional dragon tank sets using powerful skills like Steady Breath or Distant Def 4 as shown. Experiment with different defensive/enemy phase skills and see what works best for you as they all have their own benefits and niches.
Player Phase
With excellent offenses especially thanks to Savage Breath Corrin can be used as a player phase sweeper with ease.
The first build is a more traditional player phase set, using Fury 4, Desperation, and Brazen Atk/Def to allow Corrin to hit hard and fast by making the most of Fury 4’s recoil damage to gain Desperation and Brazen’s benefits without having to take hits first. Desperation is the main crux of this build making her other skills flexible. For instance, the A Slot can be replaced with skills like Sturdy Impact, Flashing Blade 4, or her default Atk/Spd Solo. The Sacred Seal can be replaced with skills like Darting Blow or Heavy/Flashing Blade.
The second build uses Corrin’s high Spd to constantly charge and activate Blazing Wind (or any other AoE special of choice) thanks to Flashing Blade and Special Spiral. Once it has been activated once, Blazing Wind will have a CD of 2, which only takes one Flashing Blade-accelerated attack to recharge. Because AoE specials are non-lethal, Corrin will always attack after activating Blazing Wind, essentially allowing her to use it every single time she initiates assuming she passes Flashing Blade’s Spd check. Hardy Bearing prevents Vantage users from retaliating against Corrin in between her activating Blazing Wind and her actual attack. Stacking skills that grant her special charge at the start of battle, such as Infantry Pulse, Ostia’s Pulse, Quickened Pulse, and Velouria’s weapon, Wolfpup Fang, can allow Corrin to spam Blazing Wind from the start without having to manually charge it first.
Smite/Link Duelist
Because Savage Breath’s stat boost relies on being separate from her team, Corrin won’t be able to stack AoE buffs like Drives or maintain visible buffs like Tactics on consecutive turns as easily without giving up Savage Breath’s stats. This build uses Bonus Doubler to make the most of the turns when she does have those buffs, notably from Link skills with the aforementioned Smite strategy.
Using the example of Mordecai and his default B skill, Atk/Def Link 3, if Mordecai uses Smite on a Corrin with Spd/Res Link 3 Corrin will receive +6 visible buffs to all of her stats and thus receiving an additional +6 with Bonus Doubler on top of the +6 from Savage Breath. This setup then grants Corrin a total statline of 72/55/49/48 with an additional +6 to Def/Res if Close Def is active. On top of this any foes within range of Corrin will be ployed for -4 in all their stats thanks to Sabertooth Fang’s -4 AoE debuff from Mordecai. This demonstrates the incredibly high potential Corrin can reach with her high BST and Savage Breath even without merges or dragonflowers.
It might also be worth noting that if Corrin is buffed with a level 4 Hone/Fortify skill and is then refreshed by L!Azura, she will instead have full +7 visible buffs that are then doubled by Bonus Doubler to +14.

For every good ending, there is an equivalent bad ending.
For every version of a person who died, there is a version of them who survived.
The Heirs of Fate: 22 children from across various worlds who banded together to stop the destruction of everything.
These are the Destroyers of Fate: 45 adults, all who were dealt a bad hand by fate, but survived.

Or will they finally be able to find peace with each other?

Book 3 Beasts and Dragons FEH Refines Theorycrafts
Alright, now to predict who is getting a refine next month. Seeing as the three house leaders got refines to their brave alts this month, it would be crazy to think their OG versions would get refines next months. Just incase, I will do them near the end of the month. For now, let's tackle the heroes from the first haft of book 3 with perf weapons that didn't get refined yet. Coincidentally, there's 4 beasts and 3 dragons we can do, but I'm going to skip Leanne and Reyson cuz dancers seem to always get skipped for refines (save for L!Azure). Also, no more link clicking, everyone is in one post. LETS GO!
Lethe: Gallia's Valkyrie
Brazen Cat Fang: "Grants Spd+3. If unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 during combat. Effect: [Beast (Cavalry)]"
Moonbow - SpdDef Solo - Hone Beasts
Alright, Lethe is the fourth / fifth beast cavalry hero, so the beast effect was still powerful in the meta, so she just had Atk/Spd Solo as the base effect. We can tweak that a little bit.
"Grants Spd+3. If unit initiates combat or if unit is not adjacent to an ally, grants Atk/Spd+6 during combat. Effect: [Beast (Cavalry)]"
So, the Tellius games, Lethe as something of a Swordmaster, a unit with lots of speed and skill, with just enough Str to make her two hits effective and her Crits frequent and lethal. She also used that speed to dodge attacks. Lethe can't "Dodge" in FEH since "Dodge" is only granted to Infantry units through inheritable skills (Save for Spd Smoke 4). So, yeah, just copy what Ranulf does but swap his true damage with "Dodge".
"At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants Atk/Spds+6 during combat, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks, and also, if unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks (excluding area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats × 4 (max 40%)."
So she's getting 12 Atk/Spd and null follow-up prevention. Then, she's getting up to 40% damage reduction, which can be obtained by fighting foes with 40 Spd or less (Outside of passives, bonuses, penalties etc.).
Corrin: Wailing Soul
Savage Breath: "Grants Atk+3. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+X. (Calculates X based on number of allies within 2 spaces of unit: 0 allies grants +6; 1 ally grants +4; 2 allies grants +2; ≥3 allies grants +0.) If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res."
Dragon Fang - Atk/Spd Solo - Sudden Panic
So Fallen Female Corrin is just a infantry dragon with a bunch of stats. And just to cut to the chase, Fallen Male Corrin gets Guard when within 2 spaces with at most 1 ally. So . . .
"Grants Atk+3. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+X. (Calculates X based on number of allies within 2 spaces of unit: 0 allies grants +6; 1 ally grants +4; 2 allies grants +2; ≥3 allies grants +0.) If the number of allies whitin 2 spaces is <= 1, grant Special cooldown charge +1 on unit per attack during combat (Only highest value applied. Does not stack) If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res."
. . . give her more Special Charges, for both unit and foes' attacks.
What's next? I figured I could get her a skill that makes sense with a dragon, but than thought, what would an ability that Melee Infantry units have that Dragon Infantry don't have? Again, it's skills that include "Dodge". That would be a good idea but Corrin's dragon form isn't much a dodge tank in Fates, more of a regular tank. That's why Fallen Male Corrin has Guard and Legendary Female Corrin has Negating Fang. So instead, to make her Omni tank / All rounder, I just thought of way to get her more stats. So I looked at another Fallen hero, Fallen Ike.
"If unit is within 3 tile radius of an ally, grants bonus to Atk/Spd/Def/Res during combat = current penalty on each of unit's stats × 2. (Example: if unit has -7 penalty to Atk, grants Atk+14, for a net bonus of Atk+7.) Calculates each stat bonus independently."
So yeah, instead of having an HP requirement, I when with 3 tile radius to an ally. It while be a real balancing act to get an ally 3 tiles away but not 2 or 1 tile, but if corrin starts adjacent to 1 ally at the start of the turn, the player just needs to move them 2 spaces away. And hopefully, if there is a foe to attack.
"After combat, if unit initiate combat, inflict Atk/Spd/Def/Res -6 on unit, target, and nearest foe's within a 4 tile radius through their next actions."
Yep, she can inflict stat penalty on herself and all the foes. It's similar to normal Corrins breath, just with even more range akin to Menace. This does mean if Corrin is all by herself because all her allies have been defeated, she will be hindering herself if she lashes out, in a similar way to the Dragonstone + from Fates (man, why were these weapons like that?) I also like these two effects because they work well with dancers. She can only inflict the penalties when initiate combat and if you want to benefit from those penalties on the foe and the reverse penalties on Corrin, but don't want to enemy phase, a dancer (like Azura ;) ) can make it happen. And if you have an AOE Special, you can charge that up with the first combat. Overall, an extremely offensive dragon.
Tiki: Torpid Dragon
Razing Breath: "Effective against dragon foes. Unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res."
Ignis - Brazen Atk/Spd - Special Fighter - Solitary Dream
Solitary Dream: "At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit and unit can move 1 extra space. (That turn only. Does not stack.)"
Thanks to her C slot skill, Fallen!Tiki takes what L!Tiki has and makes her more mix phase offensive. Downside, L!Tiki's new C slot includes Far Save. How is Fallen!Tiki going to top that?
First, no change to her base effect.
"If the number of allies within 2 spaces is ≤ 1 or all allies within 2 tile radius are dragons, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res + 4 to unit during combat, and grants bonus to unit's Atk = total bonuses on unit during combat."
Using Tiki's C slot I've took the same "solo or dragon" condition and extended the range. Similar to Corrin, she gets her effect if there is only 1 ally near by or no allies near by. I then add the condition that she can be surrounded by dragons, but not one of those allies can be non-dragons. The effect is the simple +4 to all stats, but also a sort of Blade effect. Now, after the C slot works her Spd/Def/Res become +8 and her Atk becomes + 24. If she gets rallies to +6 all stats however, that Atk becomes 34 total. That's gotta kill something.
Yarne: Timid Taguel
Bunny Fang: "Grants Spd+3. Effective against cavalry foes. After combat, if unit's HP ≤ 75%, grants Special cooldown count-2. Effect: [Beast (Cavalry)]
Galeforce - Atk/Spd Solo - Escape Route - Odd Spd Wave
Yarne had one trick, get in, get out. He was the Canto before Canto was added, before it was mainstream. In fact, with Escape Route, he was trying to do a Canto (Ally 9), warp back to an ally when under 50%. That idea sounds really cool, as Escape Route 4.
Escape Route 4: "If unit's HP ≤ 75%, unit can move to a space adjacent to any ally, and enables [Canto (Ally 2)].
[Canto (Ally 2)] After an attack, Assist skill, or structure destruction, unit can move to a space adjacent to any ally within 2 spaces."
I lost myself there. Uh . . . We'll have to wait for Yarne's seasonal alt to we get this.
Anyway, his refine. It should be upgraded to make him even better at activating Galeforce. That way, in can inherit Near Trace, and then escape after hitting two enemies.
"Grants Spd+3. Effective against cavalry foes. Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). After combat, if unit's HP < 100%, grants Special cooldown count-2. Effect: [Beast (Cavalry)]"
There, that will do. Sure, it still requires him to get counter attack by the foe, meaning he shouldn't attack ranged units, or attack foes that will do no damage or die in a single hit.
But if he does hit a foe, how is the match-up going to hold when he has no additional stats?
"At start of even-numbered turns, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit for 1 turn. If it is an even-numbered turn, grants Atk/Spd+5 to unit and inflicts Spd/Def-5 on foe during combat."
Really? Even-numbered turns, like Even-Rhythm skill on Taguel in Awakening?
Yep. So Yarne is getting +5 bonus to all stats, grant +5 to his offensive stats, and inflict -5 on foes defensive stats, to get +15 stat advantage in Atk/Spd. Course if this is an issue, I can add something else like.
"At start of even-numbered turns or the number of allies within 2 spaces of this unit ≥ 2 at the start of the turn, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit for 1 turn. If it is an even-numbered turn or foe has [Penalties] active, grants Atk/Spd+5 to unit and inflicts Spd/Def-5 on foe during combat."
There we go. Now Yarne will get motivated by near by allies, who can be beasts to help him transform. Also, if the foe is weaken a little bit, he gets more confidents, and becomes more ferocious. He doesn't have the means to inflict penalties with his base kit, so having an team member to do it for him will help. You could also replace Atk/Spd Solo with Atk/Spd Catch if you are planning to use penalties.
Nah: Little Miss
Oracle's Breath: "Grants Atk+3. If a bonus granted by a skill like Rally or Hone is active on unit, foe cannot make a follow-up attack. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res."
Bonfire - Bonus Doubler - Quick Riposte - Infantry Breath
Nah was a pretty basic dragon who came with rare skills like Bonus Doubler and Infantry Breath. Bonus Doubler did unfortunately became a seal slot, while Infantry Breath become redundant with Breaths in the seal slot and Dou Hilda granting the same effect to all allies.
If only it was better
Drive Inf. Breath: "Infantry allies within 2 spaces gain: "If foe initiates combat, grants Def/Res+3 during combat and Special cooldown charge +1 per attack. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.)"
or maybe
Joint Inf. Breath: "If unit is adjacent to an infantry ally, unit and adjacent allies gain: "If foe initiates combat, grants Def/Res+4 during combat and Special cooldown charge +1 per attack. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack.)"
Okay, I'll stop. I'll save them for a separate post.
Her weapon made her less reliant on her speed stat as in prevented foe's follow-up, but made her reliant on allies buffing her. This was before we got self-buffing C slots and the [Bonus] keyword. So what do we do now?
"Grants Atk+3. Effective against dragon foes. If a [Bonus] is active on unit, neutralizes unit's penalties, and foe cannot make a follow-up attack. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res."
With Nah's penalty neutralizer, her stats can't get lower by field debuffs or Panic and she can say "Nah" to Flash, Guard (the status effect) or Exposure. This effect was present on Nowi, so I think this can help her. However, she still need stats.
"At start of an odd-numbered turns or the number of allies within 2 spaces of this unit ≥ 2 at the start of the turn, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit for 1 turn. If it is an odd-numbered turn or the unit has a [Bonus] active, grants Atk/Def/Res+5 to unit and inflicts Atk/Res-5 on foe during combat."
We now take inspiration from Odd-Rhythm to give Nah +5 bonus to all stats, grant +5 to her defensive stats, and inflict -5 on foes' offensive stats, to get +15 stat advantage in Atk/Def/Res.
The other conditions she has are similar to Yarne's. She give herself stat bonus (which are really useful for her base effect and bonus doubler), if see needs to pack up her fear and show to her allies how responsible she can be. Then, when she is in combat, she will care those emotion (bonuses) and unleash them on her foe. Man, with all these bonuses, you might as well put bonus doubler in the seal slot and get Atk/Def Ideal or Def/Res Ideal for more concentrated stats.

And with that, I have 5 refine theorycrafts. We will see if they will come to pass this October, or if we get all Three Houses heroes, again. Let me know what you think in the replies.
