2020 vs 2019

I decided to do a redraw of the dtiys I had done a while ago for @kimidoodlez villian waifu deku. The second one is from December 2019. I actually deleted it cause I didn't like for obvious reasons. This is one of the first art pieces I really really like. I've been using clipstudio instead of procreate and I think I work better in clipstudio than in procreate. I feel like my art has been improving a lot as I move forward and start to find my own art style and study with Anatomy(the art would of been done yesterday but I wanted to get the hand as good as I could. I still need to work on it though)

I really liked the outfit Izuku wore in the comic for Bakugo's birthday that @kimbapchan drew, so I tried making it in Animal Crossing New Leaf (I don't own a switch). I hope anyone who happens to see this likes it ^^

I haven’t used my cosplay tumblr in... well a very long time, but felt it was time to dust it off. I was sewing along, minding my own business, making myself a cute little pink apron to declutter my stash of fabric when out of nowhere this AU hits me over the head like a frying pan. @kimbapchan This goes out to you!

The letters have been hand embroidered on with black thread. The hearts are actually pins to make for easy washing. They’re made of resin that I added yellow and gold paint. BTW it sparkles slightly. And no cosplay is complete without a pocket.

You know what other fanon versions suck? When they make characters with anxiety or feminine male characters into Little Soft Bois or whatever? Like Tamaki and Deku (or what is it? ‘Waifudeku’??)

i haven't seen those particular examples myself since i only really search out content for the teachers, but i 100% agree

So if I’ve got waifudeku’s philosophy down- he’s a villain because he believes more organized crime is easier for heroes to fight? Like- a thousand murderers are ultimately more dangerous than an organized mafia so he ‘encourages’ mafia structures? Or does he pick off loose canons and IS the mafia? Or just a straight up villain assassination team and I’m making it more complicated than it is? Just curious!

Yes, that is definitely Deku’s motives. I agree with this. He believes that villains without a form of structure and a “leader” to keep them controlled will only result into chaos. They live in a super powered world were everyone can potentially have devastating powers. Deku knows that it’s impossible to leave it to the heroes and the authorities to control everyone, especially the villains. Heroes and cops are bound by a strict law, they cant even kill or use their quirks willy nilly. While deku has enforced his own law, it’s not as strict when it comes to using quirks for violence. He needed to be this “figure” that villains will obey and fear, even if he isnt necessarily a villain himself. Deku has only killed so far with reason and not to satisfy blood lust. He just was obsessed with keeping the world ‘balanced’. He thinks that the ‘pillar of peace’ needed a second piece to help support it. 

I hope that made sense, and I love your perspective on this, anon. I hope I can figure it out and flesh this concept further as I make more content for this AU. It’s honestly making me excited （❁▿❁＊） thankyou for this really good take on villain waifu deku’s philosophy .
