This took me almost an entire year because I just wasn't satisfied with the way it kept turning out over and over again

SO! I know I already posted my human!Leo iteration, but because I didn't save my drawing last time.

I gave up on that one and started on my iteration of human!Mikey, which led to my new iteration of Leo. I kept the concept of him naturally having red hair because I find it funny that Splinter refers to him as the "Blue One" despite his very obvious red markings.

One of my head canons for him is that the markings on his face are port-wine birthmarks, while the ones on his arms and thighs are vitiligo. Another one of my head canons for him is that he is Japanese/Hispanic.

I like to think that Leo would experiment a lot with his hair, usually done by a professional or Mikey/April, because the one time he tries to dye his hair himself, it ended up with him losing his hair (Good thing he has a very artistic little brother who was able to make it look good).

Fuck I really need to get my iteration of human leo and raph out because any progress I made on clipstudio has gone to shit because I couldn't save it. I feel like I wasn't able to draw leo the way I actually wanted because of this (yes I gave leo an undercut)

My headcanon for leo is that he is Hispanic/Asian.

His appearance is based off of the fact that he's a red eared slider and the irony of being called blue by your dad despite the obvious markings that are obviously not blue.

My headcanon for raph is that he is Black/Asian

I really loved the idea of Raph having dreads and the hair really stuck with me.
