Hi Cressie! BIG congrats on 1k!! If it's alright, I, uh, I'd like to request a selfship with Shuichi Saihara. High key I think he's the DR character I would mesh best with since we're both awkward logical people who care SO much about our friends. I imagine it would also look really awkward most of the time outside of those moments where one of us is rambling about something on our mind. As for pet name... I still absolutely melt when I hear him say Sweetheart in his Love Hotel event with Kaede so I think that would be my pick :> Mayhaps we'd meet in a bookstore? and that could be a frequent date spot. Fun fact... hm. Weeeeeellll hahaha very interesting one to answer XD Because the stupidest, randomest stuff can inspire me XD Sooooo

Ryn-Well, in a way, she started off as a way more badass and cool self insert and the story kinda took off on it's own. Now it is this full, epoch and I can't wait to share it with people.

Seraphina-was inspired by my haircut XD I really wanted to dye my hair red and cut it short kinda like Sabine's is in S 4 of Rebels and I fell in love with it. Then I got to thinking, what if Crosshair had a girlfriend and I just kinda started playing with the idea of a redhead because I could see him with someone spunky and fun and it just sort of took off from my obsession with the color red :D

Valia-was born when I read a reader insert story that was actually a Crosshair x reader but the way it started was saving Echo from the Techno union and I thought, well if the character was in love with Tech, this is how I'd tell the story (I loved the original so much. It's on Ao3 but I think the owner deactivated their account :'( )

Leyla-she sort of was born when I was playing with the idea of a Hunter x jedi fic idea that just sort of evolved to be more OC than a one-shot thing and it just evolved. Also, I was playing with the idea of someone the complete oposite of Ryn and how Hunter would react to her.

Zephyr-was born when I was reading an AMAZING fic by @ladysongmaster called Call of the Sea which is flipping amazing with Rex as a merman. Of course Hunter is my favorite so I started wondering what Hunter would be like as a merman and the story sort of evolved from there :D

17) If your OC has kids, are they a good parent? Do they ever feel guilty if they have to leave them?

Seraphina will eventually have kids (she also looks after her little brother who is kinda like her kid. He has a huge crush on Omega eventually :D She is a great parent and definitely feels guilty any time she feels like they have to part. Right now, I'd love for Hunter and Ryn to have kids but I don't have an idea for that quiet yet. I think they'd all make great mothers honestly.

24) Can they play any instruments? If so, what do they play?

Ryn and Zephyr are the only musical ones. Ryn sings like a nightingale and is nicknamed "the Siren of Kamino" She has a necklace which is a small music box that she can change up the songs of lullabies. It was one of the few things she took with her when she left home. Zephyr can play the flute and the violin.

How many times would you guess you watched the first back to the future movie?

Since I only hopped on this time train towards the final third of the year lol: fully all the way through, at least 4! Otherwise I've jumped around a lot while looking for clips and references and stuff. So if I stitch all those together, then we'll say approx 5ish :) The first movie is my favorite one!

Noooo, I don't really have any merch for things I like, actually... it gives me too much anxiety to publicly show my interests ;w;

None LOL I don't really drink soda to begin with, but if I do, I prefer white (lemon lime) soda anyway :P

Did you create any bttf fanart or fanfic? If you did, what one(s) are you proudest of?

Yes I did !!! It is actually the most fan content I've ever made for a fandom since I was in... maybe junior high? So like YUH. Tbh, it's very difficult for me to find what you would call 'pride' in my art so ehh >_>; that being said, I do think that I had a lot of good IDEAS for Doctober (esp days 19 and 28), but my execution wasnt really the best. I would have liked to draw days 17 and 24 (+ time travel day) a little more properly too; like, I'm not as disappointed at how they turned out, but I still wish they were better and/or I could have given them more time. The ones I most actually-tried-and-dont-mind are days 7, 9, and 21 + under the sea dance day. (So many links was probably cheating but tbf I've kinda bent the rules for the past few questions so... whatevs lol). I've ALSOOO still been working on my godforsaken essay, it is 40 pages rn but even tho it's not done, I'm INSANELY proud of it Q_Q

How many times were you late for school this year?

None! B) For one thing I'm graduated lol, but also I'm typically early gang. I'm that person who'd sit in the classroom by myself for like 5 minutes before everyone else would show up LMBO ^^;

Yess I did!! A... lot actually :0 Most of them were by chance/pre bttf era, but still :P Here is my list as well as I could find, sorry it is soooo long, but what are ya gonna do:

Star Wars/The Mandalorian; The Addams Family (1991); The Tale of Desperaux (2008); Cyberchase; & Clue (1985) -- Christopher Lloyd, havent rewatched the latter 3 since I was a kid and literally went :0 to learn he apparently was in them. Also Kings Quest (2015) which isn't a movie/show but I think it counts uwu

Stuart Little (1999) -- Michael J. Fox, which also rocked my world to discover O_O like hearing it now I'm like "yeah thats him alright" but as a kid I would never have been able to tell you that was the same guy from that time travel movie, despite watching both way too much LMBO

Elf (2003) & Last Vegas (2013) -- Mary Steenburgen, nothing much to say except that she slayed ^_^

Love at the Christmas Table (2012) -- Lea Thompson, I didn't care for it and was shouting "LEA GET OUT OF THIS MOVIE, UR BETTER THAN THIS" like the whole time lol.

Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002) & Curious George (2006) -- apparently these have Donald Fullilove (Goldie Wilson) in them? Same w Jason Scott Lee (Whitey) in Lilo & Stitch (2002)??? And Star Wars/Kenobi show apparently had Flea (Needles)????? ...HUH.

I binged both the entirety of Law and Order: SVU as well as Seinfeld this year w my sister; apparently Mary Steenburgen, Lea Thompson, & Casey Siemaszko (3-D) are in at least one episode of the former, while Elsa Raven (Clocktower Lady) and Ricky Dean Logan (Data) are apparently in a random episode of Seinfeld each. So like, technically I saw them, tho I don't distinctly remember it :'D Also, I have been making my way through Little House on the Prairie recently, which has Matt Clark (Chester the Bartender) in a few episodes !

Finally finally finally, I watched I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore (2017), as well as the LOTR trilogy like. Twice? And they all have Elijah Wood of course >:3c

If you could describe your year in a BTTF quote, which one would it be?

The year in general is definitely "Oh great, the atrocity channel!" LMBO (but when hasn't it been since like... 2020? 2016???). For me personally, I think it's either "I don't know if I could take that kind of rejection." or "Don't talk to anyone, don't touch anything, don't do anything, don't interact with anyone, and try not to look at anything." ^^;

”We should do this more often, do you think, Shizu-chan?” Izaya spoke cheerfully, tilting his head to the side to look at his boyfriend.

Shizuo looked at him with the corner of his eyes. Letting out a chuckle, he began to speak, “yeah, we should, but not this late,” he added, taking his eyes back to the hallway they were walking on.

“Well, we wouldn’t be so late if a certain Shizu-chan didn’t get himself stuck in his own clothes,” the ravenhead teased with a giggle, stopping in front of one of the doors and reaching for the keys inside his pocket, “if it weren’t for me, we wouldn’t have made it in time.”

As Izaya walked inside the apartament, Shizuo stood outside for a moment, taking a deep breath to calm down as those words reached him like needles poking his nerves. Alright, be it then, he thought.

“Flea,” he called, walking inside and closing the door behind him, cornering Izaya against the wall. The man eyed Shizuo from head to toe, raising his eyebrows in a defiant manner when he noticed how serious the blonde looked. 

“Hm? What is it, Shizu-chan,” he said, placing his hand on the man’s chest and going up his neck, undoing his bow tie as he tugged at it teasingly, “was the dinner not enough for you? Should I get a dessert for you?” Izaya suggested, grinning.

“Ah, there is no need. I have one right in front of me,” Shizuo spoke, grabbing the other by his clothes and hanging him over his shoulder before kicking his shoes off and walking in.

Izaya faked a gasp in surprise, already waiting for something like that. It was Shizuo, after all. But then, a sudden pinch on the back of his thigh made him clench his hands, sinking his fingers into the blonde’s clothes. 

“What is it, flea? You look like a scared cat,” he teased, amused by the reaction. Shizuo started wiggling his fingers right above the back of Izaya’s knee.

“S-Shihizu-chahan, q-quihi- AH! QuihIHiht it, yohOhou jehehEHerk!” Izaya protested, letting out a loud squeal when the blonde suddenly moved his hand up, pinching his thigh again. 

“Oi, you shouldn’t be squirming this much. How can I take you to the bedroom like this? I might even drop you,” Shizuo warned playfully, straining from the actual path to their room and wandering around the apartment. 

“StahaAhahap f-foolihihing around, you beheAHast! AhahAhah!, n-not thehEHere,” he pleaded, banging his fist against his boyfriend’s back when Shizuo scribbled right over the spot between his thighs and his butt.

“Hm? Hah, don’t tell me you are ticklish here, flea? You didn’t complain last time I grabbed your ass,” Shizuo teased him, making Izaya blush as his laughter kept coming out.

“Shihiht- just stahAhahap it!” The man cried out softly, giggling while Shizuo poked at random spots, trying to squirm away.

“What? Can’t a man carry his boyfriend inside home? I thought it would be romantic.”

“It’s nohOHohot, y-yohou ahahare just tihihickling mehehe!”

“Am I? I didn’t notice,” Shizuo spoke, quickly wiggling his fingers all the way from Izaya’s kneepit to his asscheek, making him let out an embarrassed whine between cackles.

When they finally got to their bedroom, Shizuo used his feet to push the door open. “Alright, here we are,” he said, carrying Izaya inside.

“F-fucking finally…” he wheezed, trying to catch up his breath. Izaya let out a loud gasp when Shizuo suddenly dropped him on their bed.

“I don’t know what you are complaining about,” Shizuo said, taking off his suit, “if it weren’t for me, we wouldn’t have made it here this fast.”

Izaya widened his eyes, staring at his boyfriend in disbelief before breaking into a fit of giggles, “you’re such a jerk, Shizu-chan.”

ough for some reason so i have a ryurin wip which i think i've poked a couple holes in to make the story make more sense BUT ANYWAY i'm rly struggling for some reason with the sort of. setup? of rin crushing on kaiser (yes kaiser LMAO) and digging into that with the right balance of interest that rin can sort of look at in retrospect and be like ah,,,,,i wasn't really into him lmao. but i've also been focused a LOT on finishing spellbound so maybe coming back with fresh eyes will help me untangle the introductory stuff lmaooo

yes the remus lyall talk...! that was fun to write. sirius has a v specific image of lyall and remus's relationship in his mind, and it's not necessarily accurate (slash is heavily coloured by his own experiences). remus's relationship with his father is v complicated. lyall loves r, even if he's not always the best father to him. and s struggles to understand that. so it was v fun to be able to show what that relationship is like for remus, versus how sirius perceives it <3

hehe i will say. r gets a fun lil possessive moment in the next chapter 🤭🤭🤭 but i too cannot wait 2 let them reach peak insanity <3 they're obsessed w each other
