GROUP 2 IS HERE!

AAAA CHECK OUT THE BOY, HE LOOKS FANTASTIC! Oh my god I think of all of our groups, Group 2 changed the most. I love how the direction he was facing completely turned in the first half. The change in color palette is also really cool? Going from the lavendery color palette to the warmer red-purple. And of course, the addition of the ADORABLE Kumajirou.

The Righteous Gemstones as it's been releasing !! I missed these rich, entitled, unhinged freaks. my partner + I have also been doing another rewatch of wwdits to prep for the new season <33 additionally, I've also been doing a rewatch of Fringe bc it's my ultimate comfort show.

currently reading:

nothing sksnsjsnk. I have a massive tbr pile rn. like truly insane. but hyperfixations as well as 4 of my favorite shows all coming back within the span of a month has had me in a chokehold and then some. most recent book I bought though was Myth, Legend, and Romance, An Encyclopedia of the Irish Folk Tradition by Dr Dáíthi Ó hÓgain and I'm very excited about it.

current obsessions:

I've been overcoming my executive dysfunction surrounding hand sewing, so I've been getting more into altering my clothes! I'm used to mending items, but never any big projects until now.

And while I have your attention, I want to apologize for this event being so poorly managed. I don't think "I'm tired" is a good enough excuse for the lack of updates and the needing to do a reboot. I have a tendency to be overly ambitious and take on more than I can handle, which ultimately leads me to crumble. This isn't my first time organizing a large group of artists, but it's the first time I've had to be on top of people and constantly check up. I'm so sorry Round 1 has been so rocky and a bit of a mess. I somehow didn't anticipate how the big change of how many people I needed to oversee between Round 0 and Round 1 would be so overwhelming.

I think if I'm going to continue this event, I need more hands on deck. At the very least, we WILL be finishing Round 1!!! The art I've seen from the people who've had their turns thus far is absolutely stunning and I'm excited to see how each group finishes up.

Thank you all for being patient with me. I'm very excited for the final collages to be revealed towards the end of the month.

other stuff I watched this year: righteous gemstones, good omens, wwdits, heartstopper (new comfort show), young royals, the witcher, the magicians (currently on s5), grimgar of fantasy and ash, vice principals rewatch. there was definitely others but i can't remember atm oops

shows I dropped this year/didn't finish: fringe rewatch, i just got wrapped up in other shows and never picked it back up. and kenobi, watching that one with my partner and he got big hyperfixated on a show so we just never went back to it. v much intend to finish it.

currently listening to: it's been a lot of colm mcguinness (when is it not?) and the amazing devil

currently working on: poetry, mainly :)) I also have like. 5+ crochet projects i haven't touched in over a month, if those count. also a novel that I've been dragging my feet on opening back up.
