There's a wonderful family on instagram who have been sharing about their little boy's triumphs over a supposedly terminal brain diagnosis in the womb, and I've been following his story for years. Well, right now they are in my town for vacation and the boy got sick and he's currently inpatient at the hospital my baby girl just died at last week. Prayers for his recovery (it seems like just a stomach virus causing dehydration), but also my mind is now preoccupied with how, maybe, my baby girl would still be alive and also inpatient there if we had called an ambulance sooner. Maybe both our families were destined to meet each other today, and have a bond to last a lifetime, and she's supposed to be still alive, but somehow I fucked it up.

I've never been one to believe in things like destiny but. this is taking over my brain and heart.

Fuck this country. Some of us tried, but it seemed it wasn't enough. The majority here want hate to be a ruling factor. I've never been so disappointed. I just...I'm disgusted.
