gigi was fuming to a point where it wouldn’t be a surprise that smoke came out of her ears. it was definitely the mix of alcohol and gigi’s signature short temper which caused her to get into a fight. after a few good punches at the other, and one that caused her own lip to break, she had left the party and called robbie to drive her home. ‘ this is so fucking stupid. ’, she finally broke the silence, rolling her eyes as she thought back to her earlier moments. ‘ fucking bitch. ’

     people did a lot of things when they were down to lift their spirits up — some went out to drink, others play their favorite music or sit down and do whatever it is they like to do the most, the things that make them happiest. for alex, one of his favorite things to do is pick up some diner food to-go, and head out towards the auto shop on the days he knew robbie would be working, and just before closing time. they never actually talked about alex’s issues, or they rarely did — but it was ritual at this point, and robbie just knew that these days came when they were getting harder for alex. after the party and after all that happened with lux, alex needed to see him more than ever today. 

     he barges in, no warning whatsoever, “ knock, knock. ” he simply says, a wide grin on his lips as he makes himself comfortable somewhere, placing the paper bag full of their food down in front of him. “ i got the goods. you’re done for the night, yeah ? ” he questions, already stealing a chip out of the bag.

"Robbie, for sure. He’s helped me with cars so much over the last couple of years. Three cars, to be specific. An old beater I was attached to and drove until it finally tapped, my replacement car that’s much more stable, and a vintage car he’s helping me restore. I made the rash decision of buying it knowing I was waaay out of my depth. His knowledge and worksmanship are incredible. I learn something new from him all the time.”

sobriety   brought   a   beautiful   thing   .....   clarity   of   the   mind,   of   the   senses.   &   she   readily   had   found   herself   surrounded   by   him   engulfed   in   a   furry   of   lust   &   passion.   she   wanted   to   clarity,   wanted   to   savor   every   last   drop   until   there   was   nothing   but   him.   they   divulged   into   the   pleasures   of   flesh   until   each   had   given   out   some   early   hours   of   the   morning.   her   smaller   frame   curled   ontop   of   him;   skin   to   skin.   a   thin   sheet   lightly   shielding   them   from   the   world   that   kept   moving   when   she   so   wished   it   to   stop.   claudette   wanted   to   pause   the   moment   of   solace.   her   arms   heavy   from   previous   excursion   the   night   before   as   they   slowly   unlock   from   the   loose   hold   around   the   back   of   his   neck   and   sweep   downwards   to   cross   her   arms   over   his   chest,   setting   her   chin   on   propped   wrists   as   sleep   clings   to   droopy   lids.   she’s   happy;   a   smile   of   joy   finding   her   as   bright   (   welcoming   )   eyes   search   his   face.   claudette   admires   robbie,   allured   by   his   beauty.   &   captivated   by   his   opposition.   he   is   her   opposite   in   every   way;   and   she’d   have   it   no   other   way.   

her   smile   spreads   to   a   pleased   grin   as   head   tilts   affectionately   peering   at   him   and   sweeping   her   foot   idly   against   the   top   of   shin   beneath   the   blanket.   “   oh   mon   amour.   ”   hummed   to   him   furthering   her   affection   as   face   dips   to   press   a   warmed   kiss   the   the   skin   of   exposed   chest.   head   lifting   hair   wild   &   unkept   like   a   lions   mane,   eyeliner   smudged,   and   lips   bare   of   lipstick.   if   she   looked   close   enough   smears   of   red   could   probably   still   be   found   atop   his   skin.   she   hadn’t   felt   this   light   in   some   time.   but   robbie   could   be   trusted;   this   she   knew.   (   she’d   done   her   own   obsessive   digging   on   his   background   &   it   seemed   ....   they   were   two   lost   ships   having   set   sailed   &   ended   up   at   the   same   port.   )   and   in   this   trust   she   had   bloomed   for   him   like   a   flower.   deadly   &   just   as   thorned   as   before,   but   open   &   willing,   for   him.   “   i   feel   like   i   am   in   my   twenties   again...   ”   laughter   as   she   slowly   lifts   herself   further   upwards   and   slowly   sinks   into   the   crook   of   his   neck   and   presses   dampened   warm   kisses   to   the   length   of   it.   a   slowly   sleepy   inhale   allows   for   the   scent   of   him   to   wash   over   her,   relaxing   the   beast   within   further.   her   cheek   finds   her   own   pillow   beneath   his   head   as   her   nose   and   lips   nudge   into   his   neck   over   and   over,   achingly   slow.   “   i   feel   alive.   ”   murmured   quietly   with   a   smile   of   triumph.   she’d   won   &   robbie   was   her   prize.   “   i   am   holding   you   captive   all   day,   ”   nuzzling   into   him   impossibly   closer   she   tilts   her   face   back   up   to   look   at   him.   “   you   are   mine.   ”   sleepy   smile   spreads   into   a   rueful   grin   as   she   awaits   his   attention.   *

Bellamy had only agreed to go to the market as a means of making up for the night before, though he was starting to think that having this particular one night upset with him was well worth it if this was the alternative. He’d given in to finding a sense of peace, nodding along to the idea of some quiet hum of noise in comparison to the chaos from before, but this was boredom. Even the taste of blood that still lingered in his mouth wasn’t enough to keep him entertained as he listened to drones of antioxidant properties and what ever else they were going on and on about.

His attention drifted away from the stands, feigned interest pulling away now in its exhaustion. Desperation to abide was still present as he tried to find a stand he would be willing to visit but it wasn’t fruit or handmade baskets that suddenly perked up his presence. A hand was placed on the shoulder of his company, an excuse muttered as he parted ways to follow what he thought was no more than a ghost. More than once Bellamy had told himself he’d seen people that didn’t exist here anymore, that didn’t belong, but something about him here made sense. He wasn’t some plucked memory flaunting around present day, but something woven into existence with the right essence.

“Robbie!” He called out, louder than he intended as he nearly pushed through the crowd. “Robbie— Roberto!”
