Finished a story chapter in our VtR game, wrapping up our adventures in New York. Turns out grenades can resolve most of your vampire problems.

Jaz lost her ghoul. He was possessed by a Strix and ran off somewhere 😭 Now Jaz has to have Ranch Dressing handle all her day affairs.

I have a bunch of exp to spend, which should be interesting. Jazdia already has maxed out disciplines for Dominate, Auspex and Gilded Cage. Might be time to buy her some more physical stats so she’s less of a wet tissue in fights, but eh. She’s a handguns expert so she’s never in the thick of actual combat. Her first point of damage didn’t occur until 6 months of playing the game, when she was kicked by the goat she was sacrificing.

I also gained some forbidden knowledge last session, and have the choice to learn one ritual from either Crúac, Theban Sorcery, or all rituals from Ahranite Sorcery if I pledge my soul to VII

How has their human past influenced them being Kindred? Did they change greatly?

Jaz has always had a rebellious streak; leaving her conservative Soviet family to go get educated in the capitalist bourgeoisie of America, where she got into witchcraft and women’s lib and hippy communes.  

Now she rebels against her sire by burning down the house she gave her, breaking the conditioning on the ghoul she gifted her, and then not only marrying a big dirty Gangrel boy, but a Carthian. 

Who or what is most important to them?

Her husband Grier, without a doubt, to whom she devoted her requiem to, even if he keeps bringing animals in their house that all hate her ^^; Friends and family in general is very important to her, since she spent a good thirty years of her Requiem in hiding and alone and she never wants to do that again.

1. What Clan are they? How does this influence them?(temperament, characteristics, etc.)

Jazdia is Ventrue and boy does it show! Ventrue are nicknamed “lords” and tend to be rulers of vampire society. Jaz doesn’t have a city but she has a big Gangrel to boss around. She’s not really haughty though, more like a manipulative brat with an expectation that most people would love to drop everything to do things for her. 

But, due to her high humanity she still is a relatively nice person, and refuses to use Conditioning to strip away someone’s will and personality, for example. 

What are their favorite Skills or Disciplines? Weapons?

Dominate is always useful for getting people to do what you want, but her favorite is her bloodline discipline of Gilded Cage, which lets her perform a ritual that lets her attune her sense to a building of great status in the city, and basically see and hear everything that happens in it. It’s the ultimate power rush for her, and virtually undetectable by other vampires so she can spy to her non beating heart’s content.

Also if you piss her off she can curse you with terrible traffic or just trap you in the city >:D 

What’s their style like? Clothes, aesthetics, etc.

Lot’s of dresses; mostly 70′s style. You can see from her pinterest board it ranges from elegant to hideous.

Just wanted to say I love your art and I love seeing some Vampire the Requiem on my dash! Jaz sounds like a lot of fun!

omg, thank you so much ; w ; I LOVE VtR it’s a struggle not to spam it to all my poor followers all the damn time. Jaz is such a pissy Ventrue and I love her 😊

We just finished the completion of the current story chapter, and are doing a 5 year time skip and I’m silently screaming over everything that went down; and this is a good reminder I should post a recap of everything.
