A mega festive THANK YOU to all Kindred and Cainite (and ghouls? among other entities) lovers alike who have put their names down for this year's writing gift exchange 🎁

Thank you as well to everyone who has supported us in one way or another in making this event happen 🙏

I'm thrilled to see that we have a sizeable amount of sign ups in the writing community—we may be small, but we are present!! 🖋️—and I'll be working to match you up with your giftees very soon.

Keep an eye out for an email from me in the next few days, and if you haven't received anything by the end of November 14th, please contact me. Here's the event timeline again for your reference.

VtM Secret Santa Writers 2024

IT'S ON!! We have enough interest to get this party started (last I counted was 73.9% out of 46 votes). A massive thank you to everyone!

This will be the first VtM Secret Santa event for all aspiring writers in our community—yes, I see you, and I hear you! In the spirit of giving, we will exchange pieces of writing of our favorite canon characters in the VtM universe, with reader-insert or not, and have some festive fun together.

Guidelines

Open to writers of ALL SKILL LEVELS!

No AI-generated content.

No hate speech, bigotry, or discrimination.

Word count between 500-2000. Short story, prose, flash fiction, and the like are accepted. If you want to submit something outside of this limit, i.e. poetry with less words, please DM me.

Friendly reminders will be sent out to complete your gift in time!

Timeline

Sign ups open from November 5th - 12th.

Secret Santas notified from November 13th - 14th.

Submit your gift by December 21st to porcelainseashore@gmail.com.

Gift delivery by your certified elf (me!) from December 22nd - 23rd.

Feel free to post the pieces you have written on your socials from December 24th onwards. You can use the tag #vtm secret santa writers 2024 or tag me and I’ll reblog your works!
