Set in Hungary, during the years of World War I, we follow Mina, a young woman who finds herself faced with a dilemma that will cause a major chain reaction in her life. Between hiding her gender and dealing with a threat she never believed was real, the girl must make a choice between abandoning who she was or embracing every part of herself - all while the world crumbles around her.

I finally finished translating my VtM story! I'm well aware of how much I babble about my guys, but now I can finally share this complete work with the tumblr community! Allow me a moment of sentimentality saying that this is one of the things I'm most proud of in my life :')

I assure you that I studied a lot of the subject (from Remarque's work to real documents) so as to not be insensitive with the real event; while I publish the translation today, this project started in 2022.

I still plan on writing two more, with each being simultaneously a complete narrative and a piece of their story! But, being 100% an independent work, it won't be here for a while.

The most Tremere still life, inspired, of course, by Andrei's attempt to insult my clan (if it even was an insult; he was so pleasant to me throughout the conversation afterwards, and I really just want to be his friend so he can keep telling me his horrible thoughts, so if it was an insult, it was very ineffective). Even though I was given my undeath by exactly the same right as he was given his, and I wasn't even there for the events that he alludes to, and I am proud of my clan and the accomplishments of my grandsires, I can't be angry, because instead I feel like that's so cute, I'm a squirming larva! And finally, twenty years after him saying so, and liking that line more every time I heard it, I had to paint it.

(Say, would you love me if I was a Tremere worm? n_n)

The house wheel is Los Angeles, 2024, the night of the 31st of October to the 1st of November. The floral diagram is meadow saffron. The medallion on the end of the bookmark, for any non-VtM-players who see this, is the clan symbol of the Tremere clan, and the worm imagery is allusion to Tremere clan history.

Should I tag this for Bloodlines? I don't know. I probably should, because I'm discussing it, and that's where the picture idea came from, and the title is a direct quote, even; but it's not obvious fanart. Hmmm.

okay i’ve finally completed all the world of darkness interactive fiction games. my rankings are as follows:

vampire: the masquerade — night road: the crème de la creme of these books. like genuinely the best. also it was the first one i’ve ever played so i have a soft spot for it. favourite clan to play is either tremere or ravnos.

(3-way tie kinda, rankings do matter a bit) werewolf: the apocalypse — the book of hungry names: loved it. it’s super long but it’s absolutely worth it. never really dipped my toes into the werewolf part of world of darkness but i liked being a galliard hart warden. might have to look into it more.

(3-way tie kinda, rankings do matter a bit) vampire: the masquerade — out for blood: okay like i get technically you’re not playing as a vampire—and maybe it should be labelled as a hunter: the reckoning book—but playing as a human witch who owns an occult shop is so fun. i like the story too, the characters feel really alive.

vampire: the masquerade — sins of the sires: yeah i mean i finished this in like 2 hours. not very long, kinda boring at some points. i think i romanced the monk by accident on my second playthrough but i didn’t know bc i had no indicators that it was gonna be a romantic thing. also stat checks didn’t seem to matter at all, like no matter what i clicked worked. very meh addition to the library.

just need to wait for hunter: the reckoning — the beast of glenkildove, which i’m very excited for. i like the human world overlap that book of hungry names and out for blood has.
