Hey friends, I'm Ali!

I decided it's time for an updated pinned post.

So a little bit about me! I'm 29 years old and have been with my wonderful husband for a little over 11 years. We have a 3 year old black cat named Cole and a tuxedo kitten named Esme. My husband has a betta named Esmeralda and I have over 100 houseplants that are an important part of my life. 🩷

My favorite plants to keep are philodendrons and monsteras but I have other aroids, hoyas, succulents, as well as other randos. Taking care of my plants is my favorite mindfulness activity, it centers me more than most other things. I also grow herbs on my balcony in the summer. 🪴

My other hobbies include a variety of artistic pursuits, interior decorating, thrifting, Animal Crossing, cleaning/organizing, witchy things (tarot, astrology, crystals, etc.), getting tattoos, realistic sustainability, and collecting things. 🫶🏻

Random things I'm a big fan of include the color pink, cats, Star Wars, iced coffee/oat milk lattes, opossums, McDonald's fries, taper candles, birds (specifically aquatic birds), flowers, and plenty of other things. 🦋

technically the name i go by, lex, is a nickname as the shortened version of my first name. but i don’t really have any other nicknames. i’ve always wanted one though so just start calling me something and i’ll answer lmao

bro. i have no aesthetic. i’m so boring. my clothes are a mix/match of the mood i feel in the moment so it could be all black or cottagecore. and my room is a work in progress in the way of going for a kpop vsco girl vibe 🤣

this is kind of hard to answer, im not sure exactly what the question is asking, but i feel like a big part of me being me is irl im very logical/analytical. im quiet at times, i like to look and learn and get all of the information. i just like to live mostly in my head. sometimes i think that makes me seem cold or distant but that’s never my intention. yeah, so, not sure if that’s the right way to answer that but it’s something i think about when i think about who i am as a person
