Now that I've had time to watch both the first and second season in detail I'm going insane noticing all the parallels
#there's like the obvious ones with susie and todd and such but all the small details#i know i've been thinking about dirk ending up in spring's death maze and then in the house within the house#and todd falling into the maze unvoluntarily and then following him to help him in season 2#dghda#babbling#'fat people?' & 'golden bulletts?' vs 'how does the DOG work?'#the scene in rogue wall enthusiasts where ken says he's with bart for a reason and how his life now has a reason#vs the scene in season 2 where ken talks about how the blackwing subjects want meaning and stuff#ken's 'we're gonna figure it all out together; i promise' vs dirk's 'you promised me something and you couldn't deliver'#also the scene after bart gets hurt in the elevator where ken ignores her and focuses on saving them vs todd finding the portal in s2e6#estevez talking to rapunzel vs tina's tequila talk
