I'm currently working on filling out the necessary information on a profile sheet for the audition.

Does this really have to be handwritten?

...It's so viewers can get a sense of an idol's personality from their handwriting?

I see it now, it's what they call fan psychology. I've learned something.

💬 Would you prefer to use a PC?

Kanna: Yes, that is correct. It doesn't have to be a PC, a smartphone would suffice. ...Anything is fine as long as I can utilize inputs.

Writing by hand can result in mistakes, which would cause for everything to have to be rewritten on a spare form.

And those sorts of things are a hassle. So if possible, I'd like to utilize the tools of civilization.

Kanna: Now then, I've verified it must be handwritten, so I suppose I should fill out the content.

Receiving reminders to be sure not to submit things late is a hassle, so I think I will complete it early and get it out of the way.

How I felt filling it out...? I don't know how to answer that. I answered each of the questions honestly, I don't particularly have any thoughts.

And additionally, there is the dim lighting. It's in your best interest to remain somewhat attentive as you walk around.

I am care not to trip over anything as I explore around the venue. I cannot afford to trip and get hurt.

Kanna: I only am participating because I had been told my safety would be ensured, so I feel con-fuddled when asked what I am enthusiastic about.

But I do suspect there are mechanisms within The Arena I can utilize my brain for.

Last night, I went to bed early in preparation for the audition. As such, nothing in particular was done.

art vs artist 2024!

i used sooo much blue and yellow this year, maybe next year ill branch out to more colours but i cant help that blue and yellow are just the best colours for drawing.

here are my favourite works for each month of 2024!

january:

I used colour layer modes instead of colouring 'organically', but this was the first time I made a drawing in full colour and actually really liked it. this was before i started painting colours directly into my drawings but its a great effort and i learned a lot about colour layer modes here!

february:

didn't make much great art this month but this sketch scratches my brain correctly. the contrast the hatching the lighting!!!! this was where i started being obsessed with the different forms you can manage to portray with just a little rimlight

march:

possibly one of my favourites of the WHOLE YEAR. Inspired by Andrew Salgado's work, I'm a huge fan of his stuff. In this I learned that colours are literally stupid and if you don't care about logic, you can actually make something very distinctive and somewhat abstract work. Kick-started my whole journey to learning colours so this was probably one of my most important pieces i've ever made

again, not much good art but this is nice I guess. drew this for the anniversary of senna's death, i like the polaroidy feel

may:

I LOVE my may era. Most of everything was done with this oil painter brush I found and it just went very painterly and kinda abstract with strokes and colours, was a month of experimentation for sure

june:

I didn't like this very much when I made it originally, but looking back I love the kinda creaminess of this piece. I haven't really been able to recreate that effect so far though, so this one stands out to me for sure

Not a fantastic art month for me, but I was experimenting with textures in this piece and learned a lot of what I SHOULDN'T do. Very useful

I made this piece because I hadn't spotted any other lesteban enjoyers in the wild. Idk the colours in this just came out very easily which is always enjoyable

September:

GRAHHHB the colours in this have me in a CHOKEHOLD the DESATURATED BLUE SHADOWS and PINK CHEEKS!!! This definitely isn't my best of the month but it BRINGS ME A LOT OF JOY OKAY I suddenly turned into an Esteban superfan in theast fiveish months of the year. so dumb that like one of my favourite pieces ever was a shitpost

In this scenario, regardless of your answer, you have the arms and armor of a murmillo, tailored to your size. You possess whatever training and skills you currently have in real life.

The human opponent has the arms and armor of a hoplomachus. The human opponent has average adult male stature for the time, 168 cm (5’6”), and is in good health. This is his first match as a gladiator, after having received basic training from a not very reputable gladiator school.

The bear is an adult male grizzly bear imported from North America in good health. The current month is October and its captors are feeding it sufficiently for the bear to prepare for hibernation. The bear is familiar with the Colosseum and is acclimated to the noise, sights, and smells of the arena. So far, he has only been let loose on unarmed prisoners sentenced to death by mauling.

Wrote a scene for PPAU in which Megatron convinces the DJD to accept a peace treaty with the Autobots (that doesn't constitute rebuilding and then stabbing them in the back). And when I was outlining/brainstorming I was like, "okay Megatron is probably going to have to make an example of some DJD member who lashes out and refuses to accept it. There's gonna be a little fucked up cult violence in here"

Except no, that smooth son of a bitch gave the DJD a speech that so effortlessly tied them up in his new peacetime plans that the most opposition he got was a muttered comment by one single member. My man used the brainwashing of nationalism and patriotism to counteract the cult brainwashing. He made a rhetorical appeal so sound that any member of the DJD who tried to argue against the peace treaty would sound like they were opposed to reclaiming Cybertron, their homeland, and ensuring the well-being of their own loyal soldiers. I was like "MEGATRON THERE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MORE CONFLICT IN THIS SCENE YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO CHOKE-LIFT A BITCH OR AT LEAST RIP OFF TARN'S MASK AS A DRAMATIC GESTURE OR SOMETHING" and the Megatron in my brain went "hahaha no" and charmed the DJD so thoroughly that there wasn't even a single raised voice. Charismatic son of a bitch
