Watching the news about the people who lost their lives at Vrindavan yesterday was quite shocking, bc if my parents and I had relented and listened to my sister's argument about making the trip this week instead of last week because of the project she had due in school, we could very easily have been among the people who met that terrible fate.

Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir is a temple under construction at Vrindavan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India. The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is constructing it, and it should be finished in 2026. With a height of 700 feet, the temple will be the tallest place of worship in the world.

It will be in the Hindu city of Vrindavan, where Lord Krishna’s birth happened. Hindus from all over the world will flock to the temple as a major destination for pilgrimage.
In India’s city of Vrindavan, there is a building known as the Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir. Hindus consider Krishna to have been born in the holy city of Vrindavan. A 62-acre site where the temple is being constructed
Architects under the direction of Bimal Patel created the temple. Famous architect Patel is responsible for creating several well-known structures, including the Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar, India.
The temple’s design will be a contemporary take on conventional Hindu architecture. It will be constructed of white marble and dome-shaped like a lotus.
A maximum of 5,000 people will be able to fit in the temple’s spacious prayer room. A library, museum, and cultural center will also be present. Pagal Baba Temple is located in vrindavan. It is one of the famous temples in vrindavan.
Founder - Sant Shri Sheela Nand Ji Maharaj who is also called Pagal Baba because of his mad devotion towards shree Krishna. He was a poor Brahmin. Pagal baba temple was constructed by him in the made devotion for Lord Krishna.
Construction – The temple started to construct in the mid 20th century. It was constructed so that Krishna devotees could gather in this temple and promote devotion and love.
Temple Design – This Pagal Baba Temple is 221 feet large and its width is 150 feet approx. Each of the temple floor shows the life of Lord Krishna since his childhood.
Evening Aarti – Arrti held in eveneing, every day. Devotees chants hymns, participate in aarti and immerse themselves in the devotion.
Opening Hours – Pagal Baba Temple opens at 5:00 am to 12:00 pm and in the evening 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Distance – Distance from Pagal baba temple to Mathura railway station is 9 km and it takes approx. 25 min to reach there. From Mathura bus stand, it is 8 km away and it takes approx. 20 min to reach there.
