So I take it that’s why we have these certain Events…I have a strange feeling that Duel Links wants to connect different worlds, including ours. And Kaiba is the Mastermind behind it all. Not to mention the Manga timeline and the Anime timeline are both different. I think this is Manga!Kaiba’s doing to prove a Multiverse theory. But why our world too?
I went in too deep, didn’t I?

Little theory time!!
So, according to the new duel Links Vrains world update, we find out that Duel Links is new Link Vrains area...
How this effects?
At the end of the series, Ai was still alive... But we never find out how...
There's my theory:
When Kaiba created Duel Links, he found peace of Ai's data and restored it into Duel Links...
Because Playmaker mentioned that this is new Ai with his past memories...
Then, we can officially say that Duel Links is cannon... But it's not!
The last event was the Paradox one, so Yugi mentioned that they weren't the one who defeat Paradox but their other selves...
Does that mean, Kaiba digitalized their consciousnesses... Nah that's not it...
Also, III mentioned that IV is on vacation in Duel Links which they say is a digital world...
And don't forget that Kotori was stucked in the tutorial xD does that mean... They're all test subjects... How Kaiba managed to do this? How he connected all worlds at the same time? There's still mystery around it.
So, Duel Links is at the same time cannon aftermath to the series and non cannon...
I hope we'll find out more. But this is just a theory... Anime... Theory...

Okay, I just need to tell this to another Duel Links lore enthusiast like me. I am probably overanalyzing this cutscene in Spectre's event where he makes everyone duel him. Spectre mentions that he wants everyone (except Soulburner) to remember the event of the Tower of Hanoi (a great tower of mass network destruction basically, don't want to give full details to accidentally spoil things-). Because there are 7 people present with memories of the event, the Tower was created thanks to Memory System.
So my theory is, does Spectre (and to an extent, Revolver, since he is Spectre's boss) want to use the Tower o Hanoi as a sort of bait to grab Kaiba's attention? Because IF the Tower can destroy Duel Links, then Kaiba needs to do something about it, right??
Sorry for my rambling, I am just very insane about Duel Links lore ajsbkxkcdn
GODDDDDD . SITS DOWN.
yeah i may not go to VRAINS yet but this shit did have me like *bugs me eyes at the screen like a cartoon character*
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
even though it looks like the Tower disappeared again in Spectre's second story cutscene, the concept of "oh well if this causes irreversible harm to Duel Links then perhaps the man behind it will make himself known to us" is FUCKIN CRAAAYAYAAAZAAYYYY. DEEPLY SCARED OF WHAT THE EPILOGUE CUTSCENE ON THIS EVENT IS GOING TO BE

Since there are multiple shows- which yugioh show is everyone watching? If I wanted to get into it, where do I start?
Honestly, I'm not a great source of advice for this nonnie because I've only ever watched the original Duel Monsters, Season 0, and a bit of GX when I was a kid. I couldn't tell you much about 5Ds or anything about the other shows that came after, and I don't plan on watching them either.
What I can tell you is that there's not a running story throughout the shows that makes it necessary to watch them all or necessarily in order. As far as I know, they're each their own self-contained show with no strong dependency on the others, so in theory you could start anywhere and enjoy yourself.
The chronological order is Duel Monsters -> GX -> 5Ds -> ZeXal -> Arc V -> Vrains -> Sevens -> Go Rush!!! but anything past 5Ds is completely out of my comfort zone in terms of who the protagonists and what the stories are about.
My advice would be to start with Duel Monsters because its the first one, its near and dear to my heart, and it sets the stage for what Duel Monsters the game really is and where it came from. But if you started it and didn't have the best time, there's no shame in trying out one of the other shows. Like I said, to my knowledge they're largely self-contained, so you wouldn't be missing out on story beats or character plots by trying out another, and you might find something you genuinely fall in love with.

Hi yes I need you to know that your analysis on Jaden and Yusei (June 16, 2022, idk if you’ve done multiple on them but that’s the one I’m talking about) is the realest thing I have EVER read and you’re so right and you should say it MUCH louder that is the greatest take op it’s amazing and I’m screaming /pos
Jaden is my favorite character like,,,, ever, and you have nailed him I’m going bonkers
Another thing, I love your Groupchat AU but you have made me become aware that there is???? Another???? YGO show????? I was like who on God’s Green Earth is Yudias and then Google attacked me with information. I still remember. When Vrains was new. To me Vrains is still new. It came out 6 years ago. I feel old. I am not okay. I have yet to acknowledge the existence of Sevens and will continue to do so with Go Rush. Oh I got off-topic, whoops-
Anyways, love your Groupchat AU but I saw the one part with the Eldritch language that Jaden and Yuya are both fluent in and I humbly request more of their dynamic???
I had an epiphany last night, they’re so similar I’m actually losing my mind. All I can think about is that one audio of Batman and that girl on the swings and it’s like “They got their weapon, I got cheated out of my childhood” “I know what that’s like.” “You do don’t you?” Tell me that’s not them I am dying /pos
Much love <3
Oh my gosh, thank you! <3
Jaden and Yusei, my beloved blorbit. The painfully monstrous and the painfully human. The narrative foils of all time. Jaden Yuki, the creatchur autism boi of all time. <3 I need to write about them more.
I know what you mean about the new shows. I'm still a ways off from watching them, but I still want to remember they exist but keep forgetting. What do you means vrains is six years old??? (<- was not even a yugioh fan when vrains was airing) You're telling me there's probably going to be new one after that??? That the days start coming and they don't stop coming?????
Shoutouts to the sevens and go rush fans. They are the mightiest of soldiers. I know nothing about their shows but I'm hesitantly penciling them into the groupchat au anyways because I have seen maybe three clips but I know this funny little alien guy is near and dear to my heart.
Obviously there's a bit of a shift between Vrains and the Sevens era, being made for new audiences, a little tone shifting (which we LOVE, because any franchise that stays the same forever is no bueno.) and that makes it easy to group the first six shows into one group. But I also think there's a fascinating dialogue between shows 1-3 and shows 4-6. I didn't realize it until I was a good way into Arc-V, but each of the second trilogy protagonists sorta reflects the first three.
With Yuma and Yugi, it's very purposeful, a stated "return to form" with the chipper kid and his ghost companion who lives in his special necklace. And when I was gushing over Yusei in 5Ds, I got a lot of people saying "Man, you're going to love Yusaku." They're both the rbf hacker protags who fight the government. Lots to love.
But Jaden and Yuya????? Did not imagine I would come out of Arc-V going "omg they're foils. They're the same story through a different lens. They need to TALK to eachother and bond over their shared experiences."
Even leaving out my pet theory of "Zarc Was An Incarnation Of Jaden In The Original Timeline", they're just so. *clenches fist* The childhood trauma of being a weird kids and masking with an overly bubbly personality only to learn the great anger they've been trying to hide is powerful enough to rip apart reality and they're secretly harbingers of destruction.
By the end of GX, I think Jaden has wonderfully come to term with that. By the end of Arc-V, I think Yuya hasn't.
Their dynamic in the gc AU is very much to me Yuya is still struggling with Z-arc stuff, but not saying anything about it because that'd be weird, so he just kinda frets about it until he hits a breaking point and Jaden gets to offer his advice on dealing with all this.
I am so interested in exploring this that it actually got me started writing fic again,,, which I haven't done in like a year, so wish me luck. I'll keep y'all updated :)
Angst aside, they're also just. One braincell between them. Theatre kid and guy who has never once acted natural in his entire life. Kid making a scene at a Waffle House while his friend slowly eats the entire menu and offers suggestions. Jaden is a pokemon fan and Yuya is a kingdom hearts girlie, I've decided this, and they takes turns infodumping to each other. Jaden summons duel spirits so Yuya can ride around on Hiphippo even when he's not dueling. They trade funny things they've heard their dragons say. They're eldritch and inhuman and best friends, your honor.

Hey hey☺️! This is a long one and may be one of multiple. There's some shit I'm tryna sus out.
I've seen people ask questions about Yuamu and her motives and what that means and what implications it has etc. etc. and since we've gotten another episode where she explains nothing and continues to be an impossible force, I think it's time for me to step in.
As a murder mystery fan, I believe that figuring out "complicated" plot lines is kinda my forte, which means it's time for another:
Crack Theory Time!!
So, Yuamu's plan is simply to become Otes to ensure that the events of the Sevens (the one she saw via Yuga's memories) plays out the same way, ending with him coming back as seen in 62. I believe that her interpretation of time (based on Yuga in that same episode alluding to the future possibly changing) is a linear, malleable line (there's a word for it but I don't care). Basically, despite her seeing the future, not only can it still be altered, but that there is a singular future. In other words, the future is not an inevitability.
I think she plans to erase her memories of her connections in order to play the role of Otes properly. Which means at some point she:
Writes the Sevens book
Joins Goha
Leaves/is fired from Goha
Makes of mech of her own
Learns software engineering??
Makes sentient AI??
Gets her hands on SRM
All before the beginning of Sevens. Obviously some of these things need to be done BEFORE she wipes her memories, however there is a way for this to be possible, and I believe this will determine whether Otes is her or someone else:
Does she know that Sweets Kakako has been watching them?
(If you are reading this and have not watched Sevens, Sweets is one of the characters that worked with Otes.)
Sweets has been here since episode 20 and has never been shown in full. She should not be here, period. If Yuamu realized that Sweets is here and her plan takes her into account, I believe that the show will use that twist as a way to explain how she became Otes, if not, I believe she has another plan in mind:
I think Yuamu isn't being forthcoming and plans to make Yuhi Otes.
You may say the skin tones don't match and I say, look at Goha Yuga. They don't give a fuck.
I'm here to formally put in my vote for YuhiOtes!! That is my true, honest belief. For once I'm being serious.
This is coupled with some process of elimination btw.
YuaOtes would be cool, but unfortunately this is still a Shonen, no villain, and unfortunately, no female villain is succeeding. Now if she's wasn't a villain, would I think it's Yuamu?? Yes absolutely. But i have no faith that after Queen (Vrains) and Nanaho (Sevens) that Yu-Gi-Oh is capable of writing a female villain period, much less having them win.
YugaOtes seems more plausible, if we weren't 119 episodes into another show. Granted, what a twist, right? Especially since Yuamu's plan stems from avoiding that outcome at all costs. However, this show has already used a Yuga-based twist 3 times (his intro in 38, his name in 60, and the MR stuff in 90). Not saying they won't do it again, but narratively it would've made sense to show evidence of that is 92 of Sevens.
Now there is one issue; if Otes isn't an Ohdo. Not only does that mean Yuamu is completely wrong about everything, but it mean Otes is, purposefully or coincidentally, fucking with this entire bloodline, which is ridiculous. There is also the Earthdamar shit but this post is already too long.

I’m gonna post this before I forget—
Ya’ll wanna hear my dumb crack Headcanon/ not so serious yugioh vrains theory? Cause your going too
Y’know how the Zaizens are step siblings right? Which means their bio parents each either went through a divorce, or either one (or both) is a widow, or have just been single parents right
I like to think Aois Bio Dad died and left her mother as a widow and Akiras Bio dad had a divorce with his Bio mom and he took Akira in the divorce or the mom just wanted nothing to do with them
Anyways here’s my silly dumb little crack hc/theory, I like to think Akiras Bio Mom is also Spectres Bio mom and earths the only one who knows
Make with that what you will

An (un)Important Use for the Most Favourite Teaset

Title: An (un)Important Use for the Most Favourite Teaset
Ship: Rockdustshipping | Ryoken/Spectre/Earth
Series: Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains
Rating: T
Word Count: 1,343
Tags: Alternate Universe - Everybody Lives/Nobody Dies, Post Canon, Canon Divergent, Domestic Fluff, Slice of Life, V-Shaped Relationship, Polyamory
Ryoken didn’t look up from his paper newspaper, yes paper, as he heard Spectre in the kitchen.
Spectre, meanwhile, was focused on making himself and Ryoken some tea. There were various clinking and clanking noises as he poured out tea from a teapot into the matching china.
Or, at least, that is what Ryoken assumed. He hadn’t looked up from his newspaper after all. Merely flicked the next page, the sound of which resounded through the sunroom and then Spectre joined him at the table. There were four chairs set up but they would rarely seat that many people; just three. It was nice to live with just them and their paramour; no Lieutenants, no comatose father, just them.
“Oh… Earth is making it?” Ryoken said.
He sounded suitably dubious. The idea of a glorified robot steeping, pouring, and otherwise making tea wrinkled him. Though a lot of things about Earth wrinkled Ryoken. Luckily, his crinkled expression and tone of voice only ever amused Spectre and Earth was too oblivious to things like that.
“He is. He’s gotten quite good at it. He may have to start learning tea ceremonies next.” Spectre told him.
Ryoken snorted and Spectre gave him the side eye over the book that he had brought with him. In his defence, however, the idea of the Ignis adapting to human cultures was preposterous. Even if Spectre’s Ignis was the one who was most closest to them, at least emotionally and understanding that context. Unlike the other Ignis - such as the Light, Wind, and Dark Ignises - who saw it fit to punish their Origins in whatever manner it was, whether it was during the Incident or thereafter, regardless of how pure their intentions had been.
Still. The idea of Earth of learning the art of tea ceremonies was amusing to Ryoken. Especially since, deep down, he would be good at it. At least in farce or aesthetic. The straight of his back, the clothing that he wore, the impeccable manners required. All of that, yes, he would be good at. In theory, at the very least.
   But actually making the tea?
He would first have to prove himself as having culinary talent in making beverages. Something he would surely have to lack due to having no taste receptors of his own. He was an Ignis, after all, a robot, an inorganic creature that had no mouth, no tongue, no nothing.
“It’s ready.” Earth announced. He called from the kitchen.
“Thank you, dear, please bring it over.” Spectre replied.
Ryoken looked away from the newspaper, just briefly, so that he could watch as Earth, brought over a tray: teapot on top, two empty cups, and two little madeleine cakes on matching saucers. He had used Spectre’s good tea set, with his favourite floral etchings on them, white flowers hued with goldenrod and orange centres.
That tea set, as Ryoken understood it, was for special events, everything and anything from wakes to birthdays. Neither of the two extremes seemed all that appropriate for a mere Saturday afternoon with nothing better to do than to eat cake, drink tea, and read the paper. So, Ryoken brought it up out of the curiosity.
“What’s the occasion?” Ryoken asked. He turned back to Spectre in front of him.
“Nothing in particular.” Spectre replied, turning the page in his book with a satisfying flick and a swish of the aged paper. “I let Earth pick and as it would turn out, his favourite is my favourite, also.”
Hm… Like Origin, like Ignis, Ryoken mused. Their likenesses were eerily apparent. Even though it seemed like they should be opposites, they weren’t. They were complementary to one another. This was especially pronounced to Ryoken who had to bear the brunt of both extremes of their eccentricity and how they blended together.
Just look at Earth’s SOLtiS appearance. The resemblance to his Origin was uncanny. Even if Earth had - thankfully - dyed his hair to match his skin as an Ignis.
Still, he walked over with clunky brothel creeper shoes and the awareness that he would be in big, big trouble if he spilt either the tea or worse: dropped the tea set that he was carrying. But, fortunately, he made it. The change between the kitchen and the parlour was not all that big but the couple metres were still nerve wracking enough before Earth, relievedly, placed the tray in the middle of the table.
“Pour me a cuppa, won’t you?” Ryoken teased Earth.
“Yes, of course.” Earth chirped, spritely.
He missed entirely how Ryoken’s tone of voice had been soaked in jeering. Spectre, meanwhile, had not missed that and was giving Ryoken the stink eye from across the table. He put aside his book.
“I would also appreciate it if you served me as well.” Spectre said.
Earth was suitably excited to fulfil both requests. He was in a strange position, being the quote-unquote Hanoi Ignis so he often felt the need to earn his keep. That he needed to prove that he was worthy to stay with them, that they would never need to terminate his position with them.
With a big smile plastered across his face, Earth picked up the teapot and to Ryoken’s amazement, Earth had the most immaculate gesture as he served both him and Spectre tea. His manners were exquisite, the flourish was just enough without being pompous. It was strange but he had a talent for it.
(But then again, Ryoken supposed even Ai was capable of flipping hot dogs down at Cafe Nagi so perhaps food and beverage could mix with the Ignis. Even if he would selfishly prefer better not.
“Thank you, Earth.” Spectre said as he was offered the now full tea cup to the left.
Yes, there was still a matter of tasting it.
   “Thanks, Earth.” Ryoken added.
He took the teacup to the right and watched as Spectre, smiled delicately, into the white rim of the teacup. His expression was gracious, thankful, pretty even. He enjoyed the taste and Ryoken, too, couldn’t mistake the dainty scent of chamomile. The steam that wafted up was like a ballet dancer cloaked in tule as it danced up and past his nose, tickling him with a floral perfume.
The taste was even better. The tea was the most perfect amber colour and had been brewed to perfection.
Ryoken sighed, “Well done.” he praised Earth. Something he did quite sparingly and so, Earth’s face lit up.
He beamed. “Really? You think so?”
   “Yes. It's delicious.” Spectre agreed.
Ryoken may very well have to consider paying for the Earth Ignis to make a hobby of learning tea ceremonies and the like. It was clear he had talent for it and it was one which was beneficial to him and highly unlikely to lead to the downfall of both the planet and humankind. Or so Ryoken could only hope.
He had another sip and enjoyed the gentle warmth of the tea in his mouth. He withheld a sigh. Being served tea by a former enemy of his and current lover of his own. It was still quite distasteful to him. But ah, how times had changed if this domestic scene was one that he could enjoy and more importantly, both Spectre and Earth could enjoy. They really had come so far, all three of them.
“Hurry up and sit down already.” Ryoken scolded Earth.
“Yes, just because you can’t eat or drink doesn’t mean you can’t join us.” Spectre added.
“Ah, thank you very much.” Earth said and he clumsily pulled up a chair.
The legs of it scraped against the floor, making Ryoken wince. That needed more work but the noise of it was soon replaced by Spectre and Earth making light chatter about the book that he had been reading and whether or not Earth might enjoy reading it later. Ryoken smiled to himself and followed up another sip of his tea with a bite of the madeleine cake that had been accompanying it before he continued to read his newspaper.

some closing thoughts after a little over 1 month of revisiting Yugioh Vrains
Vrains is a trainwreck in the most endearing and wonderful way
I love this show so dearly and feel like this time I finally managed to appreciate it in the way it's supposed to - problems and all. I feel like I was finally able to understand a lot of the peculiarities and subtexts that, before, I didn't have enough emotional maturity for, and it helped knowing generally what was going on because watching this show for the first time was.. not great (for reasons I talked about already in other posts from this marathon)
going through that grueling filler-plagued beginning was hell, and one of the reasons I was dreading going through this show again - it even got me questioning why I put Vrains so high on my ranking of favorite YGOs (because my memory is bad and I didn't see any reason for Vrains to be that high), but once it starts going.. oh boy it doesn't stop, this is why I finished it so fast LOL
Vrains's story is very compelling and the minimal cast helps to keep everything close-knitted (I highly prefer fewer characters like this). Not all of these are interesting, but the ones who are do make up for it. I have found love in characters I didn't pay much mind before; loved the ones I already did even more; and went batshit insane over my favorites; Spectre
I don't think we'll ever have a plot like this in the franchise and it's such a shame. Vrains portrays trauma, pain and loss without romanticizing it. The main character has PTSD and he's not magically cured after everything - none of them are, except Jin (and this is another whole can of worms I'm not sure if I want to get into....) - Vrains is not a happy show or a happy story, and this is what makes it so wonderful in my eyes. Tragedy is what kickstarts this story, and tragedy is the one thing that is consistently happening throughout it
before, I guess I didn't really like the ending very much because the story was cut short and everything was rushed and too vague? But now (and understanding why it was cut short), I can find some silver linings, for example: that open ending feels good. It's nice to have stories such as this (and also in Zexal) with a lot of openings, and holes and things to be filled with theories and ideas: if the canon doesn't provide, the fanom might as well do it
I have so many favorites and so many ships for this show now 🤣 I think I had like 2 max the other time O: surprisingly, Yusaku and Ai went kind of in the background? I wonder why..
I knew I would get obsessed with Akira even though I paid no mind to him before 🤣 what can I say, he's just my type hahahahahaha. I was already obsessed with Kengo before and it got much, much worse so congratulations me for the renewed and augmented Blood Shpeherd brainrot 🥺💜 I have always loved Shoichi and he'll remain as one of my favorite characters ever as well so it was a delight to watch this and have so many episodes and scenes with him, my heart is so fulfilled 🥺🥺🥺 I love Jin and also Lightning for all the wrong reasons (don't ask about it 🤣), and so many other characters too but lets focus on who is really important (and was very surprising): Spectre
I honestly do not know what happened that I got this much into Spectre? He was also one of those I didn't really pay much attention before, and he became.. my favorite character in this I guess???? Well one of them, but you get what I mean 😆 the long story short is probably me omega projecting on him, and his relationships with Ryoken. Let me dream, alright?
I don't know if I have the energy to talk about my ships but just know that I have a copious amount of them. It's a lot
all in all, Vrains is amazing and it would probably be my favorite YGO if not for all the production issues, really. There's several things I'd change and try to fix, but overall, it's fine and enjoyable as it is, thankfully
I don't know, I'm sad it ended and I wanna watch again right away LOL

Entrust, Angelmaker and Watergun play a game, but the teams are randomized.
Kiku: I am sure that you would have liked to play with Miyu, right?
Ryoken:.... Have you ever played with a wolverine in a cage?
...
Miyu: HOW ARE YOU SLOWER THAN ME?! I was running in high heels and had to answer a call!
Yusaku: I have asthma! Back off!
...
Skye: There is a Taylor Swift concert in the next town!
Theodore: Let's go!

Duel Links NPC (Standard Duelist) Headcanons (all of these are my opinion and many may disagree):
The "Knight of Hanoi" in VRAINS World is actually a few different people that have the same avatar. One is the real deal, but the rest are cosplaying to scare people.
Fani is nonbinary, Vega is genderfluid and Sunny is transgender!
The Standard Duelists that can appear in any world are not based on any real people, but constructed AIs created to encourage more people to Duel (from the perspective of in-multiverse lore). The rest of the Standard Duelists are created from "memories", or something. (when i say "real people" here i mean real people in-multiverse)
The reason that certain VRAINS Standard Duelists can have different reactions to different characters but that doesn't happen in any other world is because the Duel Links multiverse connector whatevertheheck connected directly to Link VRAINS, so the Standard Duelists there have a much stronger "identity". (this is just my theory, not much evidence for this)
Unlike the variable Knight of Hanoi in VRAINS world, the Sector Security officer in 5D's World is always the same guy.
(Crack Theory): Josh used to exist in the world of the OCG Structures manga, he watched the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime as a kid but only ever played the game casually. One day, he somehow got iseakai'd into Duel Links. He's cocky because he thinks his knowledge of the "real world" will help him win, but in practice he's terrible at applying it. yes there is a yugioh manga where the yugioh franchise exists. really.

Fic Writer (of doom) Interview :)
Thank you for the tagged my beloved Stars (aka @starsmadeinheaven)
How many works do you have on AO3?
WOW UH
I apparently have 31 works on AO3. Christ, that's a lot.
21 of them are Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
4 are Original Works
3 of them of Hetalia
2 are Yu-Gi-Oh 5d's
And 1 is Yu-Gi-Oh! DM
What’s your total AO3 word count?
72,638 words apparently. Slay. I didn't think I'd have a lot of words tbh.
What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Oh god, I wonder.
1. Everything Stays (Hetalia GerItaPan Oneshot)
2. Sakura Petals Blossom But Love Blossoms Faster (Hetalia AmeriPan oneshot)
3. You Know I Love You Right? (Yu-Gi-Oh! DM Wishshipping Oneshot)
4. My Remedy (Hetalia ItaPan oneshot)
5. This Is Home (Yu-Gi-Oh! 5d's fic collab with my brother)
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
I try to but sometimes it feels like they don't need me to respond to them if that makes sense?? Sometimes it's just a statement more than a comment of appreciation if that makes sense???
So yeah, it depends.
What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
I don't really know tbh. I have a lot of unfinished YGO fics that in theory, are supposed to have lots of angst and possibly angsty endings but I never finished those but they don't really count ig??
I haven't really written angst but maybe Cross My Heart In Hopes To Die
What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
Probably almost all of them have neutral/happy endings.
Everything Stays and My Remedy
Do you write crossovers?
I don't think I've written any currently unless it's Yu-Gi-Oh! related since you can smack some of the shows together. If it isn't YGO shows being smacked together, it probably won't exist. Maybe a series AU for another series but them meeting that series' characters?
No </3
Have you ever received hate on a fic?
I've gotten some hate on my Anikishipping fics but tbh idc anymore. I'll write whatever makes me happy and if people have a problem with that, they can suck my dick. Like idk what else to say.
If you don't like it, go write something else then.
Before going onto AO3, I was on Wattpad and we ALL know how THAT must have gone.
Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I write smut but I rarely ever post it and if I do, it's anon LMAO.
I just feel like it's too awkward and I'm just scared people are gonna judge me LOL.
Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I wouldn't know and I SURE hope not.
Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nah. I'm not that famous yet.
Have you ever co-written a fic before?
This Is Home is a fic I'm writing with my brother. It's kind of on a hiatus cause of life and cause of the YGO fandom break we're both taking. We'll talk it out and see if we can continue it.
I'm actually gonna hopefully work on new micronation related works with other lads so I'm SUPER excited for that!!!
What’s your all-time favorite ship?
Hetalia: GerItaPan and MolSeb.
DM: Wishshipping
GX: Anikishipping
5D'S: Toolshipping
Zexal: Aztecshipping
Arc-V: Candyshipping
Vrains: Respectfulshipping
Sevens: Moonlightroadshipping
What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
I had a Spamano/ItaPan/MolSeb werewolf fic that I was gonna do but I gave the fic away to a moot to write instead since I lost interest in it and didn't want to write anymore.
What are your writing strengths?
Tbh, I don't know. Probably internal dialogue and emotions. I like writing arguments and deep conversations cause it's so fun playing around with people's emotions <33
What are your writing weaknesses?
DESCRIPTIONS AND USING FANCY WORDS.
I don't wanna sound repetitive with words but god, I need to work on having a bigger vocabulary.
What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
I try to use it in fics considering I'm in the Hetalia fandom but I do try to add translations at the bottom/on the notes if it's something that most people wouldn't know by now or more complicated items. I try to not use it cause I don't want to be that person with awful Google Translate or sucky translation app language errors but yk, sometimes duty calls.
What was the first fandom you wrote for?
Probably Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal or Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V if I'm being honest. I don't remember y'all. It's been a SECOND.
What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?
I wanna write Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains content but the show is so SLOW and BORING for me but I really LOVE Spectre and I would love to maybe write some Respectfulshipping.
I'd also love to write some Gakuto fics for Sevens cause they did his character SO WRONG it's makes me SO MAD.
For Hetalia, I'm not really sure tbh.
What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?
For YGO, maybe Imaginary Friend (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Anikishipping oneshot)
For Hetalia, it's definitely gotta be My Remedy
I tag these lads (you don't have to do them if you don't want to)
@stardust-revolver @starfishes-and-watercolors @apalonespinifera
This concludes my ask <3
(I'm going to be honest, most of the fics I mentioned here I kind of hate now but I left to see any possible growth or progress when I work on new stuff. I only really like my more recent content but we won't go into that <3)

Ryoken Kogami, Aoi Zaizen.
Ryoken Kogami:
How I feel about this character - He's not one of my all-time favs but I like him pretty well. I definitely think he's one of the prettiest YGO characters. There are some aspects of his personality I feel like they could have gone into more, but I feel that way about a lot of characters. Overall: he tried his best, against some pretty stiff odds, and I have to respect that about him.
All the people I ship romantically with this character - I basically ship him with Spectre. Maybe Souburner a teensy bit, but Spectre would be my go-to.
My non-romantic OTP for this character - Naturally it is fun to watch him interact with Yuusaku. They have a lot of stuff going on between them that I feel like did not get fully unpacked in the show, and it would be fun to dig deeper into that. Also in the future it would be fun to see him and Ai figuring out how to be friends, ro at least not be all "Kill on sight" with each other.
My unpopular opinion about this character - I don't even know what the unpopular opinions are, so you just get An Opinion. The more I think about it, the more I like him better as an antagonist than as one of the good guys. I can really think of ways he could have been made into a more persistent threat without losing his fundamental sympathy. Man, now this is making me want to rewrite Vrains again and I already have enough to do.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - Can we explain what that mark on his hand is all about? I mean, I have my theory but nobody ever explained it. Also I would be down for more friendly/casual interactions between him and the rest of the cast, especially people who aren't part of his immediate team. Come to think of it, this show had so many crises going on non-stop that it feels like we hardly ever got to see anyone just hanging out being friends.
Aoi Zaizen:
How I feel about this character - Fairly neutral. She was there. Sometimes she did stuff. I'm not sure she was as well integrated into the plot as she could have been.
All the people I ship romantically with this character - I honestly have no ships for her. Maybe she can date Miyu? Or not; I don't have strong feelings about it.
My non-romantic OTP for this character - I like seeing her hang out with Ema. They are good sister-figures to each other.
My unpopular opinion about this character - Again, I don't know what the popular or unpopular opinions are, so I'll just state an opinion: why the blazes did she need so many costumes? What was the point of that? Nobody else got their outfits constantly redesigned, so what the heck?
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - I kind of feel like the thing with her being just the friend of Aqua's original instead of her actually being the original was kind of a cop-out, especially when she and Aqua were so visually and thematically linked. I feel like a few tweaks would have made her (and by extension, her brother's) story a lot stronger.

Just finished the episode (typing this during the outro) and uh... my crackpot theory of Kuaidul and Yudias fusing/Kuaidul becoming his spirit guide is seeming weirdly likely. Or... maybe that's my tinfoil hat acting up. And... the fact that if Kuaidul dies, I won't be able to take it.
I... I haven't cried like this about a Yugioh episode since the back half of VRAINS.
...Honestly you may just have to consider this my review of the episode. I don't know if I'll be able to write a coherent full-fledged review, this hit me way harder than I was ever expecting.
