Memorial for a Fallen Hero

In our world today we lose many each day. On Sunday, July 9th a memorial was held outside Silvermoon City to honor one such loss. Members of the community gathered to pay tribute to a man they called friend. Lost but not forgotten Y’akov Vradic will forever be a hero.

(OOC: The man behind the character known as Y’akov Vradic lost his battle to cancer. The Royal Courier and its staff offers its deepest and profound sympathy to the friends and family. We offer this small token in tribute to the man who touched so many lives in such a positive manner. Rest in Peace, David.)

Rest in peace.

I know no names.. but this one, needs a petition. On wednesday WRA lost someone to cancer. The man was an amazing Roleplayer, talented guitar player, singer and song writer, and beloved friend to many. Please sign this in hopes that the one thing he adored would be added to a game he loved. He was truly a light to many, even in his own darkest times. Rest in peace Vradic.

A sad farewell.

Hearing the passing of my friend has hit hard, at one point he and my rogue Sedrana were married on moonguard. With that, this post is to wrap those loose ends up and put him to rest ICly, as she would have had we continued to RP. Essentially it is a backpost I should have done a while ago. On WRA he was Vradic, on Moonguard he was Nomolos and will be tagged. Rest in peace my friend.

The day seemed off. The sky not as bright, her leathers black as night, and something just was amiss. She hadnt heard form her beloved husband since they first hit the broken shores. She a rogue, he a paladin both forced to do separate jobs. The day came where she was returned home till the next deployment. Grueling work had been done and she looked forward to and hoped to see her family upon return, such was no luck. “Has he returned?” She asked her personal assistant , Iskala. The woman shook her head. “No, you are the first to arrive.” Sedrana sat and sighed. “I do hope he gets his return soon.” she mumbled and headed to their room. Silent footsteps creeped up the stairs stopping only upon the knock at the door. Iskala had beaten her to answering it. “Is Lady Sunfall home?”  Iskala nodded at the Elven man who stood in full battle regalia. The rogues ears fell as she turned around and headed to the door swiftly. “Nobody calls me by my married name, What is it you seek?” She asked swiftly and coldly. She knew whatever this was wouldn't be good.

Behind the man stood two more elven soldiers in the same purple plate armor he wore. Her gaze snapped to each, one with his tabard and the favor she had long ago given him, the other with the Silvermoon flag and a horde flag folded up, his signet on top. If it weren't for Iskala standing behind her, she would have bolted in disbelief. “I regret to inform you Sir Nomolos Sunfall has fallen in battle.” The rogue began to cry, covering her mouth with one hand and barely able to accept the treasures given to her. “No.. No no.. No no.. I.. No.. this cant be!” She sobbed. “The horde and the city wish to send condolences. We are sorry ma’am.” With that they turned on heal and left. The rogue was left shattered.  “Goodbye, my friend.”

This should have been posted long ago, to that I apologize, but now it has even more meaning. The man who played Nomolos, also played Vradic on Wyrmrest Accord. David Deering was a talented song writer , guitar players, singer, roleplayer, devoted father and husband and the perfect friend to have. He will forever be missed by many, and it has been amazing to see how many lives he touched. I am honored and blessed to have called him a friend and former RP partner. He lost his battle with cancer on 6/28/17. He will be forever missed and remembered as a light in the darkest of times, even when his own future seemed so dim. Though I don't think they will see this, my condolences and heart is with his family at this difficult time. If you would sign this petition, it would be HUGELY appreciated.
