About my art piece:

Taking inspiration from the beautiful Rainbow Warrior prophecy, I embarked on a journey to create a piece of art that would inspire hope and rejuvenation. As I looked upon our planet, which has suffered so much at the hands of humanity, I found hope in the prophecy's vision of a new tribe of people coming together to heal the earth. Using the very element that had caused so much damage, dirty oil, I began to create rainbow formations.

As I painted, I thought of people like Malari, who lead by example with their zero-waste lifestyles and inspire others to follow in their footsteps. I crafted her portrait as a tribute to her incredible journey that required immense self-respect, inner strength, and confidence.

Watching as Malari's portrait took shape, I felt encouraged by the prophecy's promise of a new tribe of people - a diverse group united in their efforts to make the earth green again. I count myself lucky to be one of the rainbow warriors, committed to standing up for the planet and fighting for a brighter future.

Describing his work as "punk, glam, elegant pop art, with an experimental and devilishly precise vintage anti-hero feel," Voxx Romana ("The Voice of Rome") has been painting his Einstein stencils since 2007, and using his "Voice" to "represent the voice of discontent in a corrupt society." In late 2016 Voxx Romana and fellow Portland stencil artists Rx Skulls and Mad One joined forced to paint this wall on Miller Street in the London suburb of Camden.
