Well that left a rosy glow. Myer hosted an instore runway tonight featuring a floorbyfloor curation of Autumn's most wearable wearables. (Casual to sparklyfancy). There was the usual posse of VIPs including ever affable VAMFF CEO Graeme Lewsey, the Herald Sun's irrepressibly cheerful fashion crew, and a brace of other bloggy insta celebritytype people, but the impossibly long catwalk (looped right around Level 1, CBD store) was fringed mostly by shoppers who had dropped in, perhaps accidentally had a thrilling encounter with Jen Hawkins and Kris Smith before shopping happily on. VAMFF went global today; Indonesians and Chinese at the Museum - yes! Follow the entourage, I was told, follow the media scrum clustered around an impossibly tall and elegant woman (fond of white ensembles) known as Mary Ma. And we did. Well. So regal. So lovely. No idea, still, who she is, (google crosschecking imminent) but she seemed impressed by her compatriots' collections; NoEnd, and Annakiki on the Chinese runways.
