#vox used to have iron-clad self-discipline even if he also had a bit of an impulsive streak (at least when it came to emotional matters)

Vox's preexisting mental health issues interact with his new condition in weird ways. Pre-mindbreak, he would obsess and hyperfocus on certain things HARD. He could work for hours non-stop on a single task, trying to completely master it or get it absolutely perfect.
Post-mindbreak, he still has that obsessive trait, but he can no longer focus on anything for more than a few minutes and almost everything catches his interest. As a result, he commits really hard to any task he's given, but almost never finishes them, getting distracted before he can see anything through to completion and never returning to it unless someone prompts him. This new lack of self-control rubs up against his perfectionist streak and leaves him with a feeling of intense shame over his inability to do "good" work (that is, whenever he actually remembers that’s a flaw he now has).
