Custom Finished Vorsteiner Sport Forged Wheels on BMW F82 M4

We talked about the new line of Vorsteiner Sport Forged wheels in a previous post, which had the SFV-001 wheels equipped on a 991.2 Porsche. Since then, many sets have been sold and installed on customers vehicles. All of the examples we have seen so far have been pretty amazing, but this set up has been one of the most visually appealing.

This particular set of SFV-001 wheels was made specifically for an BMW F82 M4. Sizing for these wheels is 20×9.5 + 22 front and 20×11 + 40 rear. The wheels are custom finished in a gloss bronze, which offsets the white paint perfectly. The bespoke program allows for multiple offsets / bolt patterns / sizes which allow for perfect individual vehicle fitment. Ultra light weight and strong, which makes them perfect for both street and track use.

Alpine White BMW M4 Gets Vorsteiner Wheels And Aerodynamics

For Vorsteiner, offering just carbon fiber upgrades was not the option. Hence, the company, not so long ago, ventured into the world of lightweight aftermarket wheels. Namely, the Vorsteiner Flow Forged wheels were introduced to the market, giving customers worldwide a light and affordable wheel solution. While these may be a great option for most owners, some require more. This is where Vorsteiner stepped in with their custom forged wheel line, helping even the most demanding customers receive a desired set of wheels.

Now, the Vorsteiner Forged wheels are finding more applications by the day, resulting in a bonanza of different vehicle models that are adorned with their wheels. Their recent build is a beautiful Alpine White BMW F82 M4. Powered by a 3.0 Liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, this vehicle can rely on 425 horsepower and 486lb-ft of torque for some impressive performance. While handling prowess and cornering performance may be what purists are more interested in, the sheer acceleration numbers don’t leave anyone bored. The BMW M4 will sprint from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 4.1 seconds and achieve a top speed of 155mph (250km/h).

For this BMW M4, the addition of Vorsteiner V-SF 001 forged wheels matches the high-performance nature of this vehicle perfectly. The wheels come sized 20×9.5 and 20×11 in the front and rear, respectively. With Polished Bronze chosen for the wheel finish, they add an interesting and compelling contrasting touch against the Alpine White exterior of the car itself. For the Vorsteiner forged wheels, the key goals are lowering the weight, providing utmost perfect fitment and adhering to demands from performance-oriented applications and builds like these.

Sport Forged SF-V 001 The Sport Forged SF-V 001. is made with strength and weight as its primary objective rather than solely being an aesthetic design. The purpose was to create a wheel with reinforcements that create rigidity in areas that receive significant stress.

RELIEF POCKETING: RESISTING DEFORMATION Creating relief pockets between the spokes not only reduces weight, but is machined to resist permanent deformation. This area of the wheel receives significant stress in the form of torque – rotational or twisting force. These voids improve tensile strength, resisting deformity, launch after launch.

REINFORCED SECTORS We created voids in areas of the wheel with a significant mass significantly reducing weight, while improving tensile durability.

The original BMW E30 M3 was small, nimble, lightweight, and has been praised by enthusiasts all over the world. Unfortunately, the M3 has gotten larger with every new generation, and although the latest M3/M4 is a fantastic car, many enthusiasts want something small like the original M3.
