felt like drawing my favourite skylander from each element. just for fun, i guess.

i'm really happy with how the lineart turned out so i've stuck the lineart on its own under the cut if for some reason someone feels like colouring it in in their own style (if by some chance you end up colouring it please show me!)

got one with a white background and one with a transparent background.

The Darkness (1/2)

When the Ancients explored the universe with Rift Engines, they somehow created a Dark Rift Engine that opened a portal to a "Forbidden World" which the Darkness came from, The Darkness would the source of Evil in Skylands

The Portal Masters and Skylanders fought the Darkness until the Ancients created the Core of Light to banish it to the dark corners of Skylands

The Darkness would later destroy the sky surfer town of Billowy Cloudplains, before being consumed, Boom Jet would evacuate the civilians, he would later join the Skylanders

According to the Skylanders Giants Strategy Guide, before becoming evil, Kaossandra would play Skystones with her son's Willikins, however one day she get corrupted by the Darknees, causing her to blame the Portal Masters for the problems across Skylands and for her son, Kaos, having Portal Master powers, this would lead her to become the first Dark Portal Master

However she would end up being defeated by the Swap Force after her plan to attack the Ancient Elementals

The Darkness would later kill all of the Ooga Warriors until Voodood was the only one left, causing him to join the Skylanders

A group of Elves would end up worshipping the Darkness, they would embrace it's effects and transform into Drow, who would end up working for Kaos, however it would not erase their desire to protect nature

In the 3DS version of Spyro's Adventure, When the Darkness arrived to the Radiant Isles, it brought an unknown being of unknown origin called Hektore, he enslaved the Mystic Seekers and forced them to create the Dark Mirror

The Dark Mirror's purpose is to shroud the Radiant Isles from the rest of Skylands and corrupt the isles by poisoning the Radiant Crystals, the Mystic Seekers would later destroy the Dark Mirror with the help of the Skylanders, using the power of the Shattering Sigil, Hektore would then be killed by the Dark Mirror's explosion

In the 3DS version of Trap Team, The Darkness takes over the Midnight Museum so it can engulf the relics in a state called "Eternal Forgottenness" using light spheres, the Skylanders rescued the relics before the building was engulfed

Skytober Day 1, Magic

Voodood has always been a skylander I really liked, but he isn't as popular as I'd like, so here we are.

my 4 favourite skylanders as flight rising dragons?

i made fandragon scries of chop chop, dino-rang, ignitor and voodood, and then ended up drawing this art of the fandragons.

chop chop and ignitor are dragons i have in-game, while dino-rang and voodood are still only scries (although i do have active breeding projects for both of them).

here's what they all look like in flight rising.

Voodood

Voodood is a magic core from Spyro’s Adventure. His primary attack is to simply slash in front of him with his axe, while his secondary is to launch his axe blade on a chain and reel in himself or enemies. My favorite is his tertiary; laying down a magical tripwire that closes on and shocks any enemy caught by it, and it can catch multiple. His upgrade paths boost his magical abilities (top) and his axe proficiency (bottom). I prefer his top path, because I feel without it, he's not a very magical skylander. His top paths boost multiple abilities, modifying his tripwire and giving his axe strikes more damage. It also gives an upgrade that makes him shock anything that hits him, similar to the thorns enchantment in Minecraft. His lower path grants combos, if you like that sort of thing. I really enjoyed playing him, I think Voodood is a fun mixed-melee skylander, and he's one of the more novel skylanders I've played. Overall 8.5/10, grab him if you want some novelty.

If you want to play as a similar skylander, Voodood plays similarly to Dino-Rang and Ghost Roaster (both of Spyro's Adventure), and Sprocket (of Giants)

If you want to play co-op, Voodood would pair well with another versatile skylander, like the dragons, or a charging longranger, like Gill Grunt (of Spyro's Adventure)
