But then @vacationadventuresociety suggested that I link to her posts instead of reblogging them. In the new âEventsâ section on the Navigation page, you can click on the links to go right to a search that encompasses all the pictures for that particular event. Indie Rock Band Shapeshifted Makes an Impact with 'Gimme rock'n'roll'
The indie rock scene is currently experiencing an influx of new music with unique sounds and styles. Bands like Shapeshifted are taking the industry by storm with rock n roll that holds nothing back.
âGimme rock'n'rollâ by Belgium indie band Shapeshifted is a high energy guitar fest of its own time. The band gives you a song that you can bite into. Filled with fast guitars and pumping energy, the band rocks on all cylinders.
I canât help but feel nostalgic as I listen to this music recalling classic like 'The Whoâs âMy generationâ and wondering if perhaps Shapeshifted is influenced by the greatest bands of past. I hope so because this music is sensational and Iâm hoping that the new album tips the scale pulling the next generation of listeners into real rock n roll. Itâs time we open the rock box and unleash a sizzling summer mixing the old and the new.
Title track from our new album released March 9th 2023 by the Belgium indie band Shapeshifted. The band consists of four experienced musicians:
Singer-guitarist Marc Van der Eecken (The Highway Band, Sugar & Cream, The Shrimptons),
Guitarist Pieter Minne (Southern Voodoo, 70's Tush, Dandelion, Buzzkill Baby),
Bassist Jean-Marc Talloen (Red Zebra, Guy Swinnen Band, Letz Zeppelin, Derek & the Dirt, Weez)
Drummer Peter De Bosschere (An Pierlé, Derek & the Dirt, Weez, Give Buzze, Needle & the Pain Reaction).
The band was founded in 2011 and after the first four years there were a few personnel changes. May 2019, the four original group members decided to reunite.
Since the first performance in May 2011, the band played more than 200 concerts. Shapeshifted is known for its energetic live performances. The music is often compared to that of The Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop, Dr. Feel good.
Shapeshifted played three times in Ghent's Charlatan, Kinky Star, Zenith, Petit Tonneau, Le Montmartre, Festival Acosse, Festival Nandrin, Castle Rock, More Blues Festival ... In 2015 the band was invited as a headliner at Puglia Rock in Ostuni (IT ).
The debut CD "Shapeshifter" was released in 2012 and was played gray on RTBF Classic 21. "Spit it Out" the first single from the follow-up "Old Nick's Fire" was in the top 20 of Virgin Radio Italy for months.
In the annual review 2014 of Rolling Stone Magazine Italy the number was number 9. "Spit it Out" can also be found on the compilation CD Virgin Radio Style Rock 6.
The band is currently working on a third CD of which "Soldier" is the single in advance. The album will be released spring 2020.

5sos mp3 Masterlist
Hello, I've been meaning to do this for a while now and I just never did, but I just had to move a bunch of stuff on my phone so I thought now is the perfect time. This will take you to a drive folder with a bunch of mp3s for your local file folder, ranging from covers, live performances and unreleased songs. đŽââ ïžđŽââ ïžđŽââ ïž
The names of the files are descriptive, name of the song + where its from for live version, + acoustic if its just an acoustic performance, + cover if its a cover, if its just the name its unreleased or a bonus track. But I edited the metadata of the song so they should look alright in your player.
List of all the songs under the cut.

Note
do you know where/when the frank onstage vampire pictures are from? /if there are any decent quality ones? I AM TRANSFIXED đ
i don't actually know! because their only show really close to halloween in 2011 was voodoo and thats when they dressed as knights and frank was merlin
and this one was a FESTIVAL! and there are nearly no photos of frank in this outfit. times were dire for proffesional photos i suppose.
so anyway that makes my assumption that the dracula outfit was some october show on the honda civic tour. he also dressed as chucky at one of them.
ANOTHER COSTUME THAT THERE ARE ONLY LIKE TWO PICS TOTAL OF..WHY
but yea it was definitely honda civic tour unfortunately i dont know which show and i dont know why theres like no pics of all these outfits

What to do in New Orleans
What to do in New Orleans
Do you want to go to New Orleans but aren't sure where to begin? I'll tell you about some of the top things to see in New Orleans in this article (Louisiana). NOLA, or The Big Easy as its residents refer to it, is known around the world as the metropolis of jazz, Creole cuisine, and a distinct dialect.
New Orleans, located in southeastern Louisiana, is described as beautiful, colorful, relaxing, and fun.
It is a city of French and Spanish ancestry with strong African-American characteristics, exhibiting American pluralism via architecture, music, and cuisine.
Since President Thomas Jefferson purchased New Orleans for $15 million from Napoleon Bonaparte, it has been a great American rare.
Immersing yourself in its French Quarter is like stepping back in time to the 18th century, while also taking in the cultural distinctives that have been added during the 19th and 20th centuries to create this the country's most eclectic city.
Due to its origins on the banks of the famous Mississippi River, it has a large ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity, as well as one of the most important musical diversity in the United States. It is a melting pot of cultures, including French, Spanish, African, Latin, and Caribbean, and as a result, the majority of its residents are of African heritage.
1. Go to New Orleans' French Quarter.
Bourbon Street is located in the center of New Orleans' French Quarter.
The French Quarter is unquestionably the crown jewel and thus one of New Orleans' must-see attractions. It covers around 13 blocks from Canal Street to Esplanade Avenue and is known among its residents as "The Vieux Carre" or simply "French Quarter." Bourbon Street, studded with restaurants, cafes, bars, and strip clubs, is one of the city's most popular and busiest streets.
Visit James Square, one of the city's most prominent squares, which is located along the Mississippi River. You can see the gorgeous St. Louis Cathedral from here, or take a rest in the famous Café du Monde, which was built in 1896.
2. Show your support for the New Orleans Saints.
Of course, we can't ignore the most popular sport in the United States, American soccer. This sport is extremely popular in Louisiana, particularly in New Orleans. The New Orleans Saints, 2011 Superbowl champions, and their home stadium, the stunning Mercedes-Benz Superdome, are based in New Orleans. The team is well-liked and respected by the locals because they exemplify the principles of hard work, tenacity, and never giving up in the face of adversity.
These qualities also represent this metropolis, particularly when Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005 and wreaked havoc on the city. After winning the Super Bowl, the team's fans elevated them to the status of heroes.
3. Get to know New Orleans by riding the streetcars.
Streetcars in New Orleans
Another thing I recommend doing in New Orleans is taking the streetcars to get a feel for the city. These fantastic electric streetcars date back to the 1600s and provide lovely excursions in buildings that are still in use today.
There are currently four primary lines that provide tours of some of New Orleans' most popular and noteworthy attractions. You'll be able to see the Mississippi River from angles you've never seen before on one of these tours.
4. Louis Armstrong Park and Congo Square
Congo Square is a historically significant square. New Orleans was the only city in the northern United States that allowed slaves to meet in public and play their native music during the French colonial era, when slaves were transported.
On Sundays, their one day off, they met in Congo Square to do so. Today, it is part of Louis Armstrong Park, which was once known as "La Place des Negres" by the settlers, where they sang, played music, and sold homemade cuisine. As a result, it may be stated that in the early twentieth century, Congo Square gave birth to an era's worth of indigenous music: Jazz.
5. Treat your ears to some music at Preservation Hall.
New Orleans' Preservation Hall is a jazz venue.
The Preservation Hall, located on St. Peter Street in the center of the French Quarter, is a historic location where you can enjoy acoustic jazz music in an intimate setting practically every day of the year. Every day, the facility has a cast of more than 50 local musicians who perform in various formats.
If you come in on any given night, you'll be treated to the sight and sound of local and resident musicians improvising great tunes. If you appreciate this type of music, New Orleans holds one of the country's largest jazz events, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which takes place every year.
6. Historic Voodoo Museum in New Orleans
New Orleans was the core of the slave trade and commerce in the United States before the abolition of slavery in the 18th century. During this period, the slaves' cultural and religious traditions, which originated mostly in Africa and Haiti, were assimilated into the metropolis. Voodoo was one of the city's most enduring traditions.
After centuries, the city of New Orleans established the New Orleans Historic Vodoo Museum, which is solely committed to educate people about African culture and religion. Throughout history, ritual books and voodoo dolls or amulets have been found here.
7. Take a walk in City Park in New Orelans to get some fresh air.
City Park, one of the city's main green lungs, situated roughly 3 miles northwest of the French Quarter. With a total area of 5.3 square kilometers, you can breathe fresh air while exploring centuries-old oak forests, walking routes, biking paths, lakes, picnic places, and more. The New Orleans Museum of Art, as well as the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden, a garden full of free sculptures and the New Orleans Botanical Garden, are all located inside the park's borders.
The park also features two stadiums, golf courses, rugby and soccer grounds, and hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including weddings and the Vodoo Music + Arts Experience, which is the largest music festival in the world.
8. The New Orleans Museum of Art is number eight on the list.
If you enjoy art, the New Orleans Museum of Art - NOMA - is a must-see in New Orleans. The museum, which is located within the magnificent City Park, has an extensive art collection of 40,000 items covering 5,000 years of history, as well as a sculpture garden in City Park that is open to the public for free.
Hours:
Monday was a holiday.
From 10:00 a.m. until 18:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Price:
Adults are charged $15.
Students at universities pay $8.
Admission is free for those aged 19 and younger.
9. Oak Alley Plantation is number nine on the list.
Oak Alley Plantation's Avenue of Oaks
Nearly a dozen old plantations with gorgeous houses and exquisite gardens can be found about 50 miles west of Downtown, along the Mississippi River. Whitney Plantation, Laura Plantation, and Felicity Plantation are a few examples. A visit to Oak Alley Plantation is highly recommended.
You'll need at least 2 hours to absorb 200 years of history and tour all of the properties of this old sugar plantation, when roughly a hundred slaves worked between the field and the house as men, women, and children.
Schedule:
Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.
Price:
Adults are charged $25.
$10 for youth (13-18 years old).
$7 for children aged 6 to 12.
Admission is free for children under the age of five.
10. Take a Mississippi River cruise
I urge that you see New Orleans from a different vantage point. Get to know it by taking a trip down the Mississippi River on the Natchez, Louisiana's most famous steamboat. It would be nearly difficult to truly appreciate New Orleans without traveling down the Mississippi and aboard the Natchez.
You will not only go through the entire city of New Orleans on this expedition, but you will also travel through the states of Kentucky and Missouri, among others. Aboard this lovely old ship, you will have a wonderful time. Don't miss out on wonderful meals and fantastic musical performances!
11. Enjoy a meal at the historic Commander's Palace.
Commander's Place Restaurant in the Garden District of New Orleans
The remarkable ethnic mix of New Orleans is reflected not just in religion and music, but also in the food. The most popular cuisine in the city is "Cajun," which combines classic, rustic French cuisine with regional products and influences.
The legendary Commander's Place restaurant is located in the Garden District, surrounded by lovely and historic colonial farmhouses. I recommend stopping by to get a feel for the area and sample some Creole cuisine.
The National WWII Museum is number 12 on the list.
New Orleans is home to the acclaimed National WWII Museum, which opened in 2000. This museum is a must-see for history buffs who want to learn everything there is to know about WWII.
You can also accomplish it using interactive artefacts and artifacts from the historical period. It is, without a doubt, an attraction not to be missed.

Been playing around with the idea of how a future Shizuka would look like. And even considering making my own fan comic as I have ideas for at least the first 3 chapters but weâll see what happens
These are just practice drawings/sketches so I wasnât worried about things looking perfect
This is essentially an au where Jolyne and gang defeat Pucci and the universe didnât reset.
By the events of Stone Ocean taking place in 2011, Shizuka Joestar is about the age of 13. To for the pattern of the rest of the Jojoâs being in their late teens I think itâd be fitting to skip to the year would be about 2015 if my math is to be trusted.
Also I thought itâd be cool if sheâs in the punk/gothic style. All Jojoâs from Joseph on have been known to be a rebel or punk of sorts so I thought itâd be fitting. Her style is based more on the gothic fashion style of âRockabillyâ
One of her Jobro (or I guess Josis?) that I have in mind is her classmate, Jazzie Jay who dresses in the Pastel/Preppy Goth fashion. Jojo also has the theme of characters and/or stands being named after musicians and bands. Jazzie being a play on the artist, Jay-Z and her stand name being based on the song, âSuga Sugaâ by Baby Bash. Suga Flyâs design being loosely based on trippy cat artworks by artist Louis Wain.
The other sketch is Shizuka challenging an enemy stand user to a tango dance? At the moment Iâm calling this character Swan Saint Seans (After classical composer Saint Seans and his piece âThe Swanâ/âSwan Lakeâ by Tchaikovsky). The idea I was going for here is that as far as my knowledge goes, thereâs no characters or stands named after any classical pieces or musicians. I love all music including classical, so I thought itâd be interesting to have a ballerina stand user. I donât have a sketch yet, but the rough idea for her stand is to look something like a Nutcracker.
Now as for what these stands do, I have absolutely no idea. As much as I love the anime (I read manga too but Iâve never seen Jojoâs manga) I am so terrible with stats. Even outside of jojo like PokĂ©mon or team shooter games. The second someone starts taking about stats my brain canât comprehend it đ
. And thatâs where Iâm so lost. If I were to go through with making a fan comic, the powers would be awful, and Iâd have barely a clue how things could go.
It sucks too bc I had a cool idea for how the villain would look and the design of her stand. Her name would be Baron Samedi with a design being based on the mythical character as well (Dr. Facilier from Disneyâs The Princess and the Frog was based on this mythical character too to give a rough idea). The stand would have been a royal blue and gold decorated puppet like (think Venetian festival). Stand name wasnât decided on except for the stand in name of âVoodooâ based on the song âPicturebox Voodooâ by Full Devil Jacket.
Whatever I end up doing, I hope yâall can enjoy this little bit of wishful thinking and inspiration I had. It was super fun to come up with these ideas.

Raphael Saadiq
Raphael Saadiq (born Charles Ray Wiggins; May 14, 1966) is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He rose to fame as a member of the multiplatinum group Tony! Toni! Toné! In addition to his solo and group career, he has also produced songs for such artists as Joss Stone, D'Angelo, TLC, En Vogue, Kelis, Mary J. Blige, Ledisi, Whitney Houston, Solange Knowles and John Legend.
He and D'Angelo were occasional members of The Ummah, a music production collective, composed of members Q-Tip and Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest, and J Dilla of the Detroit-based group Slum Village. He is a co-founder of independent video game developer IllFonic, which developed Friday the 13th: The Game.
Saadiq's critically acclaimed album The Way I See It, released on September 16, 2008, featuring artists Stevie Wonder, Joss Stone, and Jay-Z, received three Grammy Award nominations. His fourth studio album, Stone Rollin', was released on March 25, 2011. For the album, Saadiq worked with steel guitarist Robert Randolph; former Earth, Wind & Fire keyboardist Larry Dunn; Swedish-Japanese indie rock singer Yukimi Nagano (of Little Dragon fame); funk artist Larry Graham (on the bonus song "Perfect Storm") and Taura 'Aura Jackson' Stinson.
Music critic Robert Christgau has called Saadiq the "preeminent R&B artist of the '90s".
Early life
Saadiq was born in Oakland, California, the second-youngest of 14 siblings. His early life was marked by tragedy; he experienced the deaths of several of his siblings as a young child. When Saadiq was seven years old, one brother was murdered. One of his brothers overdosed on heroin and another committed suicide because he was unable to deal with his addiction to the drug. His sister died as a result of a car crash during a police chase in a residential neighborhood. Saadiq states that he does not want his music to be reflective of the tragedies he experienced, saying that "And through all of that I was makin' records, but it wasn't comin' out in the music. I did it to kinda show people you can have some real tough things happen in your life, but you don't have to wear it on your sleeve."
He has been playing the bass guitar since the age of six, and first began singing at age nine in a local gospel group. At the age of 12, he joined a group called "The Gospel Humminbirds". In 1984, shortly before his 18th birthday, Saadiq heard about tryouts in San Francisco for Sheila E.'s backing band on Prince's Parade Tour. At the audition, he chose the name "Raphael", and had difficulty remembering to respond to the name when he heard that he got the part to play bass in the band. He says of the experience, "Next thing I was in Tokyo, in a stadium, singin' Erotic City. We were in huge venues with the biggest sound systems in the world; all these roadies throwin' me basses, and a bunch of models hangin' round Prince to party. For almost two years. That was my university."
Career
1987â1999: Tony! Toni! TonĂ©! and The Ummah
After returning to Oakland from touring with Prince, Saadiq began his professional career as the lead vocalist and bassist in the rhythm and blues and dance trio Tony! Toni! Toné! He used the name Raphael Wiggins while in Tony! Toni! Toné!, along with his brother Dwayne Wiggins, and his cousin Timothy Christian. In the mid-1990s, he adopted the last name Saadiq, which means "man of his word" in Arabic. His change of surname led many to speculate that he had converted to Islam at that point; in reality, Saadiq is not a Muslim, but rather just liked the way "Saadiq" sounded and changed his last name simply to distinguish himself from and avoid potential confusion with his brother, Dwayne Wiggins. As he confirmed by telling noted R&B writer Pete Lewis of the award-winning 'Blues & Soul' in May 2009, "I just wanted to have my own identity!"
In 1995, Saadiq had his biggest solo hit to date, when "Ask of You", featured on the Higher Learning Soundtrack peaked at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the R&B chart. In 1995, Saadiq produced and performed on Otis & Shug's debut album, We Can Do Whatever.
Tony! Toni! Toné! would become major R&B superstars throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. However, after the 1996 album entitled House of Music failed to duplicate the group's previous success, Tony! Toni! Toné! went their separate ways in 1997.
1999â2004: Lucy Pearl and first string of solo albums
In 1999, Saadiq's next big project became the R&B supergroup Lucy Pearl. He recorded the self-titled album with Dawn Robinson (En Vogue) and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest). The group only lasted for one album.
Also in 1999, he collaborated with rapper Q-Tip on the single "Get Involved", from the animated television series The PJs. It samples The Intruders' 1973 song "I'll Always Love My Mama" and charted at number 21 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks.
His 2000 song collaboration "Untitled (How Does It Feel)" won D'Angelo a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance; it was also nominated for Grammy Award for Best R&B Song. The song was ranked #4 on Rolling Stone's "End of Year Critics & Readers Poll" of the top singles of 2000. D'Angelo's album Voodoo won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album at the 2001 Grammy Awards.
In 2002, Saadiq founded his own record label, Pookie Entertainment. Among the artists on the label are Joi and Truth Hurts. In 2002, he released his first solo album Instant Vintage, which earned him three Grammy Award nominations in addition to another two Grammy nominations for his writing work on âLove of My Life (An Ode to Hip-Hop)â the following year. He released a two-disc live album All the Hits at the House of Blues in 2003, and his second studio album Ray Ray in 2004, both on Pookie Entertainment.
2004â2010: Expanded output and second string of albums
In 2004, Saadiq produced a remix of the song "Crooked Nigga Too" by Tupac Shakur which is featured on the album Loyal to the Game. Other artists he has collaborated with include Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, The Isley Brothers, A Tribe Called Quest, Teedra Moses, The Roots, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Macy Gray, Angie Stone, Snoop Dogg, Mac Dre, Devin the Dude, DJ Quik, Kelis, Q-Tip, Lil' Skeeter, Ludacris, The Bee Gees, Musiq Soulchild, Jaguar Wright, ChantĂ© Moore, Lionel Richie, Marcus Miller, Noel Gourdin, Nappy Roots, Calvin Richardson, T-Boz from TLC, Jody Watley, Floetry, Leela James, Amp Fiddler, John Legend, Joss Stone, Young Bellz, Anthony Hamilton, Babyface, Ledisi, Goapele, Ghostface Killah, âGinuwine, The Grouch Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Bilal, Chali 2na, Larry Graham, Luniz as well as many others. In 2007, Saadiq produced Introducing Joss Stone, the third album of British soul singer Joss Stone. According to J. Gabriel Boylan of The New York Observer, "he's produced artists including Macy Gray, the Roots, D'Angelo, John Legend, Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, and more. With all of them he's pushed a classic aesthetic, heavy on organic sounds and light on studio magic, deeply indebted to the past and distrustful of easy formulas."
Saadiq's third solo album, The Way I See It, released on Columbia Records on September 16, 2008, available in a collector's edition box set of 7" 45 rpm singles as well as on traditional CD, was critically well-received, made several critics' 2008 best albums lists, and garnered three Grammy nominations including Best R&B Performance by a Duo Or Group With Vocals (for "Never Give You Up", featuring Stevie Wonder & CJ Hilton); Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance (for "Love That Girl") and Best R&B Album for The Way I See It. Music from The Way I See It was featured in the following motion pictures: Madea Goes To Jail, Bride Wars, Cadillac Records, Secret Life of Bees, In Fighting (Rogue), and It's Complicated.
Touring with a nine piece band, Saadiq hit the 2009 summer music festival circuit with performances at Bonnaroo, Hollywood Bowl, Outside Lands, Pori Jazz, Stockholm Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz, Essence Music Festival, Summer Spirit Festival, and Nice Jazz Festival, Bumbershoot Music Festival and Austin City Limits. Saadiq has been touring Europe extensively, and held a five-night residency at the House of Blues in Tokyo, Japan, in June 2009. In 2008, Saadiq formed a new label called Velma Records, a place where he promises "people can express themselves like I did with The Way I See It... where they can dream something up and just go with it".
He produced songs for LeToya Luckett's forthcoming second album Lady Love, released August 2009. In 2009, Saadiq produced "Please Stay" and "Love Never Changes" for Ledisi's August 2009 release "Turn Me Loose". Saadiq also was the executive producer for an emerging group called Tha Boogie. Tha Boogie's first EP was released on iTunes and is titled Love Tha Boogie, Vol. 1 (Steal This Sh*t).
In 2009, Saadiq announced his video game development company called IllFonic. The first video game in development by IllFonic is titled Ghetto Golf, with an expected release late in 2010. In 2009, Saadiq teamed up Bentley Kyle Evans, Jeff Franklin, Martin Lawrence, and Trenten Gumbs to create a new sitcom called Love That Girl! starring Tatyana Ali. Raphael is an executive producer and composer for Love That Girl!. The show airs on TV One and debuted on January 19, 2010. That same year, Saadiq performed The Spinners hit "It's A Shame" in a legendary Levi's commercial and sang as part of the chorus in the 2010 remake of "We Are the World" for Haiti.
2011âpresent:Â Stone Rollin'
In 2011, Saadiq was the guitarist/bandleader for the group backing Mick Jagger for Jagger's tribute performance of the Solomon Burke R&B classic, "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love" at the 53rd Grammy Awards in Los Angeles and on CBS. The band that accompanied the performance was Saadiq's touring band called Stone Rollin. In 2011 he and his band performed as the ESPY's house band for the night, where he performed his latest compositions.
Saadiq's 2011 album Stone Rollin' was released to great critical acclaim. "He's always had a boyish enthusiasm for performing, and a flexible, naturally joyous voice that suggests a young Stevie Wonder," wrote Greg Kot of the Chicago Tribune, "but with his latest album, Saadiq finds a new gear. The album and his current tour demonstrate that there's a big difference between retro and classic, and the artist consistently finds himself on the right side of that divide." Kot ranked the album number seven in his year-end list, in which he dubbed it Saadiq's "finest achievement" and stated, "He's always written songs steeped in soul and R&B, but now he gives them a progressive edge with roaming bass lines and haunted keyboard textures. He's no longer a retro stylist â he's writing new classics." Critic Jim Derogatis called it "a stone cold gas of a party disc."
In fall 2011, he performed on the fourth results show of Dancing with the Stars season 13. In December 2011, he performed a cover compilation of several Neil Diamond songs at the Kennedy Center Honors award ceremony.
In 2012 he signed a deal with Toyota to do a TV commercial for the Toyota Prius. In 2013 Raphael partnered with Bay Area/ Atlanta Production company EL Seven Entertainment/ Republic Records and new R&B Superstar Adrian Marcel and released his 1st promotional mixtape "Raphael Saadiq Presents Adrian Marcel 7 Days of Weak".
Saadiq is a featured bass guitar player on Elton John's 2013 album, The Diving Board.
In 2016 he executive produced Solange Knowles album, A Seat At The Table which debuted at #1 on music charts in the United States. He also guest starred in Luke Cage, where he performs his songs "Good Man" and "Angel" at Harlem's Paradise.
In 2017 he appeared in the award-winning documentary film The American Epic Sessions, directed by Bernard MacMahon, where he recorded the Memphis Jug Bandâs 1928 song âStealinâ Stealinââ live on the restored first electrical sound recording system from the 1920s. Of recording on the system he said, âitâs amazing to just look at how itâs built, you know just look at the machine itself. It just has this like magical sound the way that itâs built. Itâs true. Itâs just the truest sound you could ever get.â
In 2017, Saadiq collaborated with Mary J. Blige as a songwriter for the movie Mudbound (2017), for which they both received Academy Award nominations for Best Original Song.
In 2018, he produced the John Legend holiday themed album, A Legendary Christmas.
During the 2020 coronavirus pandemic he released a song on his website called Rony! Roni! RonĂ©!â

Guys, Iâve had a revelation. What if this symbol is Excalibur?
Excalibur (/ÉkËskĂŠlÉȘbÉr/) is the legendary sword of King Arthur, sometimes also attributed with magical powers or associated with the rightful sovereignty of Britain.
Britain, wait a sec, you mean as in:
and
and
What if all the recent British references arenât hinting at a UK show or tour but are a clue that the new album is in fact based on the legend of King Arthur?
We already know thereâs a Merlin connection - the gif posted by Warners was called âMRLN.Gif.720p.2020-01-09 14_13_27âł, and the word "Merlin" is mentioned 115 times in the html code of the MCR website. The new magickal symbols and use of the Theban (witches) alphabet add substance to this theory.
But hey, cast your mind back to the Danger Days era when Mikey had a bass named Excalibur that he played at the Voodoo Festival in 2011 while dressed like this
while Gerard and Ray were dressed like this (Frank was dressed as a vampire which ruined the theme somewhat but whatever). [Edited to add that I was in fact mistaken and Frank was dressed as Merlin (pause to scream)]
And what is this photo supposed to be, Gerard, if not the Mists of Avalon?
Guys. Iâm calling it. The new theme is gonna feature King Arthur, Excalibur, the Lady of the Lake, Merlin, Camelot, and fucking dragons please god.
