This was really such an incredible experience, I'm mutuals with offshore sailor Liz Wardley on LinkedIn and we'd talked in DMs a few times and met IRL at the Ocean Race Newport stopover in 2018 and accidentally when Maiden was at Mystic Seaport last year. I worked up the courage to ask her if she'd be interested in being interviewed for this blog while I'm home on sabbatical this winter and she said yes! We had some trouble working out the time difference because Liz is currently in the Canary Islands getting ready to leave for the World's Toughest Row, a 3000-mile transatlantic rowing race to Antigua, on 12 December. Ntozake Shange born Paulette Williams (October 18, 1948 - October 27, 2018) in Trenton, New Jersey was an author, poet, and playwright. She socialized with prominent musicians and performers, including Dizzy Gillespie, Chuck Berry, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, and Josephine Baker, all of whom were friends of her parents.

The Williams family moved to St. Louis, where they remained for five years. She was exposed to music, dance, art, literature, opera, and overt racism at her elementary school, which was one of the first in the nation to become embroiled in the tension over desegregation following the Brown v. Board of Education decision. She returned to New Jersey more observant of the inequities that were customarily faced by African American women.

She repeatedly attempted suicide by sticking her head in an oven, drinking chemicals, slashing her wrist, and taking an overdose of Valium. After moving to California, she drove her Volvo into the Pacific Ocean. Despite the upheaval in her personal life, she managed to graduate cum laude from Barnard with a BA. She earned an MA from USC.

She danced, wrote poetry, and taught humanities, women’s studies, and African-American Studies at a variety of colleges in Southern California. She returned to New York to produce her choreo-poem, “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/ When the Rainbow Is Enuf,” her first literary piece that garnered national attention.

She served as the artist in residence for the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and taught creative writing at City College of New York. Her works include: A Photograph, Boogie Woogie Landscapes, Spell #7, Black and White Two Dimensional Planes, Mother Courage and Her Children for which she received an Obie award, Three for a Full Moon, Bocas, Educating Rita, and Three Views of Mt. Fuji. Her novels include Sassafras, Cypress, and Indigo, Betsey Brown, and Liliane: Resurrection of the Daughter. ABS Code Reset Background:

Used ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) or DSTC (Dynamic Stability and Traction Control) control modules typically store the original vehicle's security information. After replacement, if we do not perform an ABS coding reset, we will not be able to execute the programming function. Prior to programming, you need to use the main cable connected to the OBD connector to perform a coding reset, which resets the ECU to its initial state.
