My thoughts on Voltron season 5

[WARNING!: spoilers alert]

Okay- I am quaking in my boots and am weak in the knees.

With this new season, we got a ton of evidence and scenes that prove a lot to theories correct.

First of all, Lance my baby baby boy. He is maturing more and understanding that he needs to be the backbone of team right now; he needs to be their emotional stability. We find Allura and Shiro confiding in Lance. We have them calling out for Lance more and listening to him when he suggests things. Everyone’s realizing he is amazing and talented. They realize he is a good leader. He still has doubts though.

When Lance is complimented by Shiro he smiles but then looks away a bit disheartened because he knows. HE KNOWS THAT SHIRO IS A CLONE. He realizes this but doesn’t point it out because he just wants to feel recognized for the time being. He just wants to bask in it for a while. I like the smart Lance theory because even in this season, you can see he refrains from putting in his thoughts. Lance, in this season, still is isolated. Not as much though. Pidge and hunk are clumping together. Matt joins them most of the time. “Shiro”has been distant. Lotor and Allura grouped together and Coran is left to do his own thing with the smart people. Lance was the only one to not get something this season. Shiro realized that w isn’t himself. Pidge and Matt got their dad back. Hunk got to send a message home. Allura found Lotor and they started to work together. Lance is still, even though contributing a lot, being treated like a kid. Even Shiro ended up cutting him off. This obviously upset him and he realizes maybe he shouldn’t put his input in. It hurts him and in summary: LANGST.

We don’t see a lot of Keith this season, but what we do get in the little screen time he had is a big reveal and emotional scenes. Keith has changed a lot. He shows his emotions more even in the show they say that he often puts his emotions first during missions with the Blade. Keith finds his mom! Like holy heck that’s huge. I’m so happy but this leaves me thinking.. A lot of people are grouping together and splitting apart. Things are coming to a close and opportunities are opening up. (Unfinished thought)

Shiro, oh sweet innocent Shiro. This season provided a whole fuck ton of evidence for clone Shiro theories. He has been snapping at people and doing things without the other team members input. He is going off on a whim and branching out. I believe clone Shiro doesn’t quite know he’s a clone. He just over time realizes he isn’t quite “Shiro”. He has done a lot of good things for the team but put them in in danger more often than not. In short, Shiro is most likely a Clone( and lance realizes).

I am not quite sure how to feel about Lotor this season. I don’t trust him fully. He has shown lots of doubt when doing the things he does with Voltron. He might be crossing them or he might actually be a good guy. I am not sure. :/

In summary: Galra are big stinky biscuit boys, Lance is best boy and deserves better, Allura x Lotor is best ship, and Shiro is a clone.
