Shiro was talking to his younger brother Keith when guards came into his throne room with a fairy in tow. Shiro was confused because the fairy seemed to be a Summer Fairy and they aren't allowed to cross the border. Shiro was about to tell the guards to quickly take the poor thing back to the warmer season but they spoke before he could.

"Astrophel has ordered this fairy to be brought to you as a gift. The fairy will be your servant and will do all of your biddings." The guards tone was monotone with a very subtle tone of sympathy for the fairy. Shiro didn't know how to respond so he looked at the fairy brought to him. They were dressed in winter appropriate clothes but they were still shivering.

Shiro took off the fur cape that he was gifted to by his mother and walked over to the fairy. The guards backed away from the fairy. Shiro wrapped the cape around the fairy and pulled them close. The fairy moved closer to Shiro as if they were trying to soak in all of his body heat.

"Go make a room suitable for this fairy! And get a doctor here now!" Shiros voice was loud and caused the guards to rush out to fulfill the commands. "I have a name." Shiro heard, the voice was quiet. Shiro looked at the fairy in his arms. "Which is?" Shiro kept his tone light and quiet. "Adam."

Shiro was in his chambers. He was getting dressed for the day. He was planning on spending the day with his husband, Adam, once the fairy woke up. Soon Shiro was ready, he looked at the sleeping fairy in his bed. Shiro smiled softly at the sight. Adam was fast asleep and was laying on his stomach, his face was half buried into the pillows and the blankets were hiding his form from everyone.

Shiro walked over to Adam and sat next to him. Shiro brushed some of Adam's hair out of his face. Shiro remembered when Adam first got here. The reason why he was he was saddening but Shiro was glad that Adam was able to stay. The fairy was amazing in every sense. Shiro put a hand on Adam's shoulder and gave him a gentle shake.

Shiro watched as Adam's eyes fluttered open. Shiro gave Adam a gentle smile. Adam stared at Shiro for a moment before he slowly started to sit up. "Good morning." Shiro kept his voice light. Adam leaned into Shiro. "Are you ready to start our day?" Shiro moved one hand to Adam's hair and started to mess with it. Adam leaned his head on Shiros shoulder and muttered something under his breath. Shiro hummed. "Repeat that please." Shiro looked at Adam.

"Lay with me for a bit longer. There is nothing for us to do so we can lay in bed for longer." Adam looked at Shiro. Shiro hummed. Shiro found that to be a good idea and he wouldn't have to change because he was wearing simple clothes. Shiro grabbed Adam gently and moved so they were laying down.

Shiro pulled the blankets up to cover them. Shiro felt Adam bury his face into Shiros neck. Shiro held Adam close. Shiro nuzzled the top of Adam's head. He held the fairy close. Warmth was radiating off of Adam and it seaped into Shiros bones.

I’m sure you, dear reader, are very familiar with faeries. You must know, by now, the first time that a baby laughs, a faerie’s life takes flight. However, what you may not know—for the faeries often keep this fact to themselves, proud as they can be—is that a faerie is forever linked with the child whose laugh awoke their spirit and sent it to Never Never Land. Their souls will always be strung together with an invisible thread, naked to the eye and utterly intangible, but ever present. Though, not many faeries ever meet their Child. You see, children are ever elusive in their early years, as they are hardly ever where you expect they will be, and faeries are awfully frightened of parents and other adult things that would squash them without a second thought. So, the faeries are discouraged from seeking out their Child, because, as tales often tell, the magical creatures may never return.

Now, I am sure you’re wondering why I am telling you this now. Well, you see, dear reader, this is the story of a faerie who did meet his Child.

Talk about special interests. What does having special interests mean to you? Talk about your current special interests. Or talk about past special interests. What’s the most unusual special interest you’ve had?

AAA yay I’ve been excited about this one! (Because I’m gonna infodump a lot!!)

I’ve always loved having my special interests. I struggle with depression, and they’ve always been a great motivation to create things. Since I love talking about my special interests, I’ll probably write a little about what each means to me.

1. Undertale

Oh, Undertale... As soon as I found out about Undertale, I spent hours watching play-throughs and easter egg discovery videos. On my 13th birthday (August of 2016) my sister bought the game for me. I played it immediately, and was more happy than I’d been in a while.

Since that day, I’d pursued my desires to create fan-art and stories based on Undertale. I’d even created a few AUs, connecting it with other things I loved. Creating Undertale fan-art also inspired me to start posting my art online. I hope to be a self-employed artist in the future, so I’m glad I started putting myself out there at a young age.

I still love Undertale, still draw the characters just as much, and still play it very frequently (I’ve yet to beat Sans though haha). I’ve also made so many great friends through my interest in Undertale.

I really love Papyrus, mostly because I relate to him a lot and enjoy his personality. I have a love for puzzles; I’d love to have friends, like he does, but my friendship count remains stagnant (that’s changed recently haha)! He’s goofy and kind, both things I see myself being.

I listen to the soundtrack daily on repeat, and I’ve noticed that it really helps calm me down if I’m not feeling well. Thinking about each part of the game, and when each song would play, and imagining the characters’ dialogue brings me so much joy.

I get the “Don’t you get tired of Undertale?” question a lot, and my answer’s always no. Undertale holds a very special place in my heart, and I don’t see myself losing interest in it any time soon. :)

(I started infodumping a ton about Papyrus bc I love him and hc him as autistic but like. I’m gonna take it out so the post isn’t a mile long lmao).

2. Klance

When I got invested in the Voltron fandom (around the time season 6 was released), I immediately fell in love with Klance. At first, I enjoyed it casually, and it wasn’t anything more than a ship to me. But as I got farther into the series, I found myself watching because I loved the two characters and their relationship (whether platonic or romantic).

I started to read a lot of theories, and Klance became very meaningful to me. I don’t enjoy Voltron anymore, and overall, I don’t like how they handled their relationship (which had so much potential, by the way). But I do love fan interpretations of the characters, which is where my special interest had began (also it’s worth mentioning that this led me to read over 600 thousand words worth of Klance fics, 201,026 of which were by @thespacenico [ILY DARCY <3] in less than a year so. yeah).

3. SpongeBob

I’ve loved SpongeBob since I was a kid, and I think it’s been my special interest since then. I had a lot of SpongeBob games that I’d love to death, and watched the show every day if I could. Presently, I still watch it every day. :D I fell out of it as a special interest for a while, but fell back into it a few years or so ago. However, I can’t tolerate the newer episodes. x) They’re very different from what I grew up with in a lot of ways. My favorite episodes are “Rock Bottom,” “Karate Island,” and “Whale of a Birthday.”

4. Veganism

I went vegan three years ago on February 10th of 2016, and vegetarian on August 18th of 2015. I’ve spent a lot of time researching veganism: what it’s about, how it can help your wellbeing, and dietary facts. I now have a ton of nutrition facts memorized. Also, I don’t like PETA. It upsets me that vegans continue to get bad representation (and a lot of what they’ve done is bad regardless).

5. Autism

When I found out that being autistic was a possibility for me, I researched it extensively to learn more about myself. It’s only been a year or so, but I’ve already learned so much about autism and how it affects people. I’ve become so much more aware of how it really feels to be autistic, and I’ve also accepted myself more. I love sharing what I’ve learned to other people, and hopefully spread the same awareness and acceptance I’ve gained. :)

6. A Goofy Movie

I’ve watched this movie since I was a kid, and still watch it very much (in total, I’ve probably watched it over one thousand times. not an exaggeration XD). It makes me so happy and excited, and I’d never been able to explain why. I have every song, scene, and line memorized, and will often quote them in my conversations with my family. During the movie, I’m practically saying every line along with the characters. xP

OKAY now that I’m done with that-

The most unusual special interest I’ve had? Perhaps rocks? I’ve had an obsession with collecting them since I was a kid. I have a giant pile of rocks I’ve picked up from parks or camping trips, and I still add to it when I see one I like. I also love going to rock/gem shows and getting the polished stones. Recently I’ve developed a deeper interest for stones, after finding out they had magical benefits. I can see myself falling back into rocks as a special interest. x)

Fairy AU: Chapter Two: Welcome to the Kingdom of the Green Lion

~The Kingdom of the Green Lion is the smallest of the five kingdoms. And that is because it is made up of many thick trunked trees that all grew very close together.~ ~The Green kingdom is represented by the forest. Many types of fairies reside here; nature fairies, animal fairies, flower fairies, and so on. The fairies of the Green kingdom are very important as they care for the magical flower that is the heart of the Mystical Forest.~ A brown rabbit sprints through the village. "STOP THAT RABBIT! IT HAS A PIECE THAT IS VERY CRUCIAL TO MY PLAN!" Pidge shouted as she flew after the large creature. She was honestly going as fast as her green, white, and brown butterfly wings would take her. Which wasn't very fast, as her wings were still smaller than that of an adult fairy. ~Fairy wings grow with the fairy. A fairy usually gets their "adult wings" at 14. But it seems that this little nature fairy is a late bloomer.~ "Calm down, Squidge." Her best friend, Henry, said, trying to keep up with her. Even though he was two years older than her (and therefore already has his adult wings), he still had trouble keeping up with her. Pidge just growled and flew faster. The rabbit raced for its hole. "No no no no!!" She muttered. The brown furred menace hopped down into it's home. Pidge landed at the base of the opening in the dirt. "NO NO NO NOOO!" She cried, beating to the ground. Henry landed behind her. "Pidge?" He advanced slowly and with caution. "I'm sorry. You know that, ye-" "You." Pidge growled low. Glaring at her friend through her forming tears. "You." She stood up and started walking dangerously towards him. "Hey now, let's just take a few deep breaths and just-" Henry, nervously, did his best. "You, Henry are the WORST animal fairy in the entire Mystical Forest! You can't even wrangle one stupid rabbit!" She screamed, throwing her arms up in frustration. "Well, the-they are pretty big, fast beasts...." He said quietly, obviously hurt. "Now, thanks to you, I'll have to make a new Specter Influx chip!" Pidge turned away from her friend and crossed her arms. "I was so close to being done. I was so close to finding my family." "Pidge, I don't know what to do, I've said that I'm sorry a thousand times-" Henry said. "Right now, I want you away from me." She pouted. "Well, alright." Henry turned and began to walk back to the (now ruined) village. "Oh, and Henry?" Pidge called out, turning her head just enough to look at her friend. "You can find someone else to take to the engagement party, because I won't be going with you. I won't be going anywhere with you for a LONG time." "O-okay." Henry's face fell and he flew off. ~Zarkon had a away of getting kingdom leaders to cooperate with his demands: kidnapping. The people of the Green kingdom were at the most risk of being snatched up. Just as was the case for Pidge's parents and brother.~ Pidge had tried all morning to scare the rabbit out of it's hutch. Magically sinking vines to force it out. Check. Creating appetizing flowers and plants to lure the rabbit out. Did that. Eventually she gave up. "I'll find you guys, I promise." She sobbed, looking to the tops of the trees. **** Pidge was on her way back to her home when she heard that horrified scream that had come from the clouds. The sound unnerved her so much, her wings froze and Pidge fell straight to the ground. "Ow." She hissed, rubbing her back side. She looked back to the curtain of green leaves miles above her. And with a newfound sense of determination, Pidge flew to her workshop.

Voltron Fairy AU

Warning, this is heavily inspired by the Tinkerbell movies. The Mystical Forest is divided into five separate kingdoms: The Kingdom of the Black Lion, the Kingdom of the Green Lion, the Kingdom of the Blue Lion, the Kingdom of the Yellow Lion, and the Kingdom of the Red Lion. These kingdoms are marked with a big tree with the kingdom's corresponding color leaves, and a lion head carved into it. And in the middle is a glowy pink flower that is the Heart of the Mystical Forest. Allura is a Love fairy, from the Red Lion Kingdom, she is also the queen. Keith is a Fire/Flame fairy from the Red kingdom, as well as the kingdom's guardian. Lance is a Water fairy from the Blue kingdom, and the guardian of the kingdom. Lance and Keith were created at the same time (which is very rare for fairies, so their fates are somewhat intertwined. Hunk is an Earth fairy, from the Yellow kingdom, and the guardian. Pidge is a Nature fairy from the Green kingdom, and that kingdom's guardian. Her family was killed by Zarkon's forces. Pidge and Hunk are sort of scavengers (tinker fairies, if you will). Shiro is an Air fairy, from the Black Lion Kingdom, as well as the kingdom's king and guardian. Shiro was captured by the evil previous king, Zarkon. Who removed Shiro's red and blue angel wings and replaced then with black butterfly wings with purple spots, his wings also glow purple. Coran is a Snow fairy from the Blue Kingdom. He is Lance's teacher (and babysitter). Henry is an Animal fairy from the Green kingdom, Pidge's best friend who is obviously in love with her, but she's completely oblivious. Charlie is an Electricity fairy from the Red kingdom. Mara is a Hurricane fairy from the Blue kingdom and Lance's childhood friend. Elina is a Pyscological fairy (her powers are mind oriented), from the Black Kingdom. She was born from a fallen petal of the Heart flower, so she is the guardian of the forest's heart. Zarkon is a fairy of Darkness who is the jealous old king of the Black kingdom but was dethroned by Shiro and Alfor. And together these characters must join forces to stop the evil fairy, Zarkon from spreading his darkness across the forest and taking over the Mystical Forest and destroying the other fairies. Also Hagger is like a witch/fairy hybrid with raven's wings.
