I finished season 3. Here are my thoughts

Lotor is one of the smartest and conniving characters I have ever seen in a show. Either Team Voltron got their brain cells taken away, or he's playing 4D chess when the team is playing checkers.

Lotor is honestly so smart, he learned from his parents' actions, so of course he's going to be like this. I'm just dreading the eventual "I'm joining the team to get rid of my father-- actually no, I'm betraying you". I hated that moment when I watched the show for the first time, I'm not looking forward to it now.

I'm now imagining scenarios where it really would be a fake dating or only one bed au...

voltron legendary defender au where there isn't enough rooms on the castle ship so all 4 paladins need to share a bed, possibly with Allura and Coran.

Amazing Spider-Man movie fake dating au where for some reason Peter and Gwen's whole relationship was fake to cover for Peter being spiderman.

Star wars prequel era fake dating au where padme and anakin are playing 4d chess fake being secretly married to trick Palpatine somehow???

Hermitcraft one bed AU where there is only one bed allowed on the server and the Hermits have to fight over it to reset their sleep timers to keep phantoms away and if they want to skip the night all 20 plus hermits need to somehow for on tiny single bed.

Star VS the forces of evil one bed au where the Diaz's don't have a spare room so Star has to sleep in Marco's bed with him from day one?

Huh, that was fun.

Is it just me or has a lot of fandom forgotten what "AU" means? It's short for Alternate Universe. I keep seeing people talking about, like, "fake dating AU" or "only one bed AU." Unless your characters exist in a world where a) beds don't exist or b) beds exist in such abundance there could not POSSIBLY be only one of them, that's not an AU. It's just a regular degular story.
