okay hold on looking at how the translation things work for both, i actually have a little faith in the qsmp one. it's definitely not google's translation api, which means it's probably a custom api or a paid api. plus it has a delay in translation, meaning it logs what's said in the original language and then it translates, which is a much more reliable way of translation. it'll still probably get things wrong but it's definitely not a shitty translation api

not to say i don't have my gripes with this, but it looks like proper implementation and an actually good api use so i'll give it a little win. still probably gonna fuck up on dialects though

idk. it's been a good ride and i hope it'll continue to be an even better one. i've met some amazing people here, some of which are my best friends now and i wouldn't have met them without this. and i'm glad for that, because this has genuinely been one of the best fandom experiences i've ever had.

the fanworks, the liveblogging, the lore, the server, the hysteria moments and Fandom Incidents have all been a good one, and the community's been pretty fucking great.

it's so funny going into the tags of polls with mcyt characters in there and seeing the dichotomy of mcyt fans going "x sweep!! let's get them winning!! x warriors rise up!!!"
