Well, that’s terrifying.  Now we have the Department of Homeland Security (the SS, let’s be real) accusing the Center for Disease Control of treason against Dear Leader for...doing their jobs.? Oh and they’re openly suggesting an armed revolt after the election they’re clearly certain he’s going to lose.   No wonder the conspiracy theory nuts are only talking about left-wing schemes.  The  right’s corruption and dirty dealing is done out in the open. Also, this the plot of V.  We’re in the first two episodes, where the Visitors start casting doubt on scientists after a few question their methods and goals.  The Republicans are literally playing the parts of Lizard aliens bent on consuming humanity and the earth for their own enrichment. Oh wait, that’s their entire party platform.  My bad.

Totally one of my all-time favorite Scientific Fantasy stories I’ve ever seen!

“V” is about an alien invasion that is not what it appears to be: a mere facade for a hostile takeover. SUCH a fascinating concept and absolutely essential viewing for anyone who is into really good Sci-Fi - like story-driven concepts and more importantly human survival. Friendly Fascim is put under the microscope in this series (which is interesting from a sociological standpoint).

Totally enjoyed the heck out of the new version that came out some years ago - absolutely captivating television that was denied it’s proper ending (with humanity destined for victory). UGH! I’m so into that type of storytelling. So legit!
