Top Ten Samurai Warriors

I wanted to start this to see who my friends like! For me, the top three are so close that it is hard to put them in order. I do believe Noh is 1st though. The rest are in no particular order.

1. Noh

This woman has literally everything I want in a favorite character. She has claws, which are always nice; her outfits and hairstyles are almost always on point; her fighting style is elegant and fun (except for the bombs) and she is confident and dark. I have loved her since Samurai Warriors first came out. I can’t think of anyone else who deserves this spot.

2. Kojiro Sasaki

Kojiro has been my favorite male since I saw him. Unfortunately, he’s worn this outfit for 3 entire games. Despite that, his looks great and his artistic view of killing is fascinating. His skill with a Nodachi is unmatched. 

3. Motochika Chosokabe

Motochika looks fabulous in every installment and this latest one blows all of his other looks out of the water. I love that his attacks are water based and that his attack style is music themed. Honestly, those braids give me life.

4. Aya Gozen

She is Kenshin’s sister, but her style is sooo much better. She is a character to be feared because she says everything with a smile. I love characters like her because her interactions with people are so entertaining. I think seeing her take Kojuro’s glasses and step on them every time they converse is my favorite highlight from those interactions.

5. Hanzo Hattori

One of the coolest ninjas I’ve ever seen. I love his weapon, his moveset and his outfits. He doesn’t have much of a personality, but everything else about him is awesome...so...I can overlook that.

6. Mitsunari Ishida

Does this really need an explanation? Sass factor: 1000%. I wish he was more open about his emotions and wasn’t so difficult to get along with, but he looks great, all of the time. 

7. Masayuki Sanada

Seeing his life unfold before my eyes really made me appreciate him. Honestly, he reminds me A LOT of Jia Xu and that may be where some of my bias is coming from. His moveset is so fun and he sided with Mitsunari. So he gets a spot in my heart.

8. Kotaro Fuma

His braids are always so awesome. His demeanor is that of an onlooker. I’m not a fan of characters who just like to start chaos, but Kotaro is very classy about it. His voice actors were chosen really well too. 

9. Ina

Ina is pretty and she isn’t obsessed with being the daughter of Tadakatsu. She’s a great archer and a steadfast warrior. There isn’t much to dislike about her.

10. Munenori Yagyu

So, I REALLY like this guy’s fighting style. He also seems to be a really laid back guy who just doesn’t want to do extra work. I’m not normally into characters like that, but this guy is different. He is confident in his abilities and doesn’t have to say how good he is every 5 seconds.

Blankets you sleep with: Goosefeather duvet (and pillows) with Egyptian cotton covers, because I learnt a while ago that you can't compromise on your sleep hygiene. Plus it's cool in summer and cosy in winter.

Dream trip: Art tours around Italy, Spain, and France, excursions in New York, Tokyo, Seattle, Seoul, Copenhagen, and then maybe a month in a nice wintry high-end cabin somewhere like Scotland, Canada, or Scandinavia.

Dream job: At the moment I'd love to work one to one with students and helping them achieve their personal growth and desires, but I'd also like to be a public speaker for an organisation, as well as a prolific writer (novels, articles, scripts, everything really!). All at the same time, natch.

I didn't know about this, but @viva-la-kevolution you're so right. It's got an observation tower, it's in London, it's basically a giant helter skelter and it's the world's biggest slide. The more I look at the Pokemon tower the more I'm sure they took inspiration from this.
